Squire Farm is located in the beautiful Redlake Valley in South Shropshire, not far from the historic town of Ludlow.
It comprises two very different self-catering cottages on a small working farm with sheep, horses, chickens, dogs and cats - and guinea fowl.
The farm access is via a farm track, which means that the property is generally quiet, peaceful and secure.
There are lots of walks from the farm with beautiful views and breathtaking scenery; it has been a highly contested area in the past and has plenty of history to explore, including a hill fort within a few hundred metres of the door.

Becky was very communicative and informative before the trip, but once we arrived it was like we were the only people there (in a positive way). Xidong is set in an incredible remote location where the main noises are the sound of bird song and the trickling water in the idyllic garden. We loved using the hot tub and having the feeling of the place to ourselves. I had the pleasure of meeting Becky’s son and had a lovely chat with him about the incredible setting of the cottage.
