Lilycombe Farm has 3 cottages with accommodation for 22 people altogether in 11 bedrooms. The cottages each have their own private space but are within easy reach of each other. They make an ideal base for reunions of family and friends. There is a 15 metre indoor heated swimming pool, cinema and games room. Set within the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are lovely pub walks, but Bath is only 30 minutes away. There are lots of places to visit,including good restaurants.

For my 70th birthday, our entire family, four children, their partners and our nine grandchildren descended on Lilycombe Farm for five days!
What can we say? It was utterly fantastic!!
Of course, it was fantastic having our whole family around us but Lilycombe Farm exceeded all expectations in their effort to make our stay as special as we had hoped it would be.
We used all three accommodations; they are beautiful and very well appointed ... everyone was very comfortable, very happy with the layout, and the comfort factor for old and young alike was excellent. The ability for us all to be together for meals, swimming sessions and film nights, yet enjoy our own space from time to time has been so well planned by Arabella and her family...a huge amount of thought has gone in to organising the accommodation to suit families together, as we were, or for independent renting, which is also possible. Thank you to you all.
We had a fantastic day out at the Mendip Activity Centre (about 25 mins drive away and highly recommended as a fun day out. We abseiled (yes, I most certainly did!) dry-slope tobogganed and we enjoyed other activities too.
Chewton Mendip is a short-ish walk down the road and The Waldegrave Arms will serve you a wonderful pub lunch!
Beautiful Wells and its cathedral, just a few miles away..Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole... so many things to do, sights to see and walks to enjoy.
5* +++ rating... and we will be back!

A fantastic place in a lovely location which was perfect for our company trip with brilliant facilities and really helpful owners. The pool is amazing, the outside space is lovely and the three properties are all high spec, comfortable and well stocked.

What a wonderful week we all had at this amazing venue! There was everything we could have wanted and plenty to keep all ages occupied! The pool and cinema were well used as the weather was so warm and the social space was just perfect for our large group. Jane and Richard couldn’t have been more helpful and we would definitely visit again!! Well designed and luxurious!

Worked wonderfully for our extended family as we had one who had been self isolating in Deerleap and 5 who were on-line schooling and had plenty of room to find somewhere quiet - the cinema was favourite. With the weather not brilliant the pool was a wonderful resource and 70 lengths before breakfast seemed to be the norm for the teenagers.Highly recommended. Lovely walks and enjoyed nearness to Wells, also the bakery and the village shop.

Fabulous properties, beautifully decorated and very clean. Children and adults alike had a wonderful time and all set in a gorgeous location. There was ample room for seventeen at the dining table without feeling squashed or hemmed in. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and the pool was just amazing! Thank you, we had a lovely stay making a special occasion even more enjoyable!

We had a wonderful weekend at Lilycombe Farm. 22 of us (ages ranging from 6 months to 60 years) rented all three properties, the properties were all immaculate, clean and beautifully furnished. Extra nice touches included welcome packs (with biscuits, tea, coffee, chocs etc.) and bowls of fresh pastries. The kitchens were all very well equipped and the lounge and kitchen areas had plenty of room, in particular Jacks Barn seated all 22 of us comfortably. The swimming pool is amazing, great size and the ability to steam TV and movies to the wall was brilliant. I highly recommend these properties.

I planned a surprise 40th birthday weekend for my wife and wanted somewhere a large party could stay in and still have their own space which is a must with our young children , I liked the look of the swimming pool and cinema room and after checking with the rest of the party we booked up for October .
After an initial meet and greet we were left alone and had the complete run of the 3 properties having the joining room between two of the properties was great.
The quality of the rooms is outstanding I could not fault anything and I do look for details ,there has clearly been a lot of money spent here from the gardens to the pool ,kitchens ,bathrooms ,bedrooms all are different in there own way .
The large kitchen in jacks barn was fantastic with a table seating all 13 adults and 6 children this was definitely a weekend for us to remember.
If you like walking to the shops or a pub a stones throw away this might be a bit remote but this didn’t bother us one bit I would recommend without any hesitation.

Lilycombe Farm proved to be everything we had hoped for and provided a wonderful venue for our family reunion. There was plenty of space to be together either outside or in Jack’s Barn and endless entertainment for the seven children.

This property was absolutely perfect for our group at Glastonbury. Richard was more than accommodating throughout the entire process. All three properties are absolutely stunning and felt like home. Its very private and a perfect distance from the festival.
