For my 70th birthday, our entire family, four children, their partners and our nine grandchildren descended on Lilycombe Farm for five days! What can we say? It was utterly fantastic!! Of course, it was fantastic having our whole family around us but Lilycombe Farm exceeded all expectations in their effort to make our stay as special as we had hoped it would be. Lilycombe Farm is simply a fantastic venue for family holidays. The setting is quiet, rural and very pretty and the cottages are superbly comfortable and elegant with every imaginable facility, plenty of space, bathrooms and great, spacious bedrooms . We had 2/3 cottages for our extended family gathering together to celebrate a 70th birthday and holiday together. We loved the pool and cinema room, particularly given the unseasonal chilly weather. Lovely swimming pool and good walking country. Nice hosts. Plenty of good Country pubs in the area (the pub in Hinton Blewett especially good). Also Waitrose deliver
Wonderful family break in beautiful surroundings. The house was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The pool offered a great activity that was as much fun for the adults as the children, especially as they are young. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area. This is the perfect break destination. Would recommend a visit to Wells Cathedral and Evensong.
We had such a wonderful long weekend at Lilycombe Farm, Garden House was very comfortable (lovely big beds!) with lots of outdoor space for the boys to run around (and table tennis!). The highlight of the stay was the swimming pool which really just makes the stay - it’s brilliant. Beautiful walks around the area and lots of things to do on days out!
