Pete and Sue are fantastic hosts, very helpful and kind. House was clean and well equipped, appreciated the washing machine. We were greated with a yummy homemade cream tea. You can order essential groceries like bread from the honesty shop, which also stocks a range of basic items inc. swim nappies for the pool. So no worries if you run out of milk. We enjoyed a trip to Dartmouth, we took the ferry across to Kingsbridge, walked along the railway and then came back on the ferry and had a nice cream tea afterwards - bonus free parking for 2hours! Swimming pool is all one depth (no shallow end),...more
We have just had a great week with our family at Pitt Farm. The cottage was exactly what we needed for our accommodation and catering needs. It has a really well stocked kitchen, including a large fridge freezer. Pete and Sue are very welcoming and have provided excellent facilities to make everyone’s stay extremely enjoyable. Pitt Farm is in a great location with areas of outstanding beauty all around.
We had two cottages for a long weekend to celebrate a friends birthday. We had a wonderful welcome when we arrived. Peter and Sue make you feel so welcome and even put out fresh scones, jam and cream in our cottages. They went above and beyond and provided things you wouldn’t usually expect, washing up liquid, soap and even dishwasher tablets. Our tv didn’t work but they rectified it straight away by taking one from another cottage and then buying a new one the next day. The cottage had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were of good quality. The honesty shop provid...more
A wonderful, relaxing place, Pitt Farm is a group of very well presented cottages adapted from existing farm buildings, in beautiful countryside. We were a party of 13 - 8 adults, 5 children- staying in two cottages, and all the grandchildren loved the soft play area, the warm swimming pool and the animals. Well appointed kitchens, modern bathrooms, comfortable sitting rooms and beautiful views were a bonus for the adults, and we enjoyed the selection of goods in the Honesty Shop and the books and games in the cottages. We will book again, thank you Pete and Sue.
We had a fantastic stay at Pitt Farm. Pete and Sue were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, whilst very much respecting our privacy. The views from the complex are gorgeous. We all loved the swimming pool whatever the weather and the tennis court and table tennis were also great. Our kids loved the little soft play area and the outside play area too and we'll all miss Harry the pig! Oh and the little honesty shop was a real bonus! Thank you so much - we'll definitely be back!
We enjoyed staying at PITT Farm a second time. The cottage was lovely, spacious and well equipped. The pool is a great bonus.
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Pitt Farm (in Mullen cottage) and we had a brilliant time. We were fortunate to have the run of the farm during our stay and we found the facilities to be clean and well maintained. Pete and Suzie are excellent hosts and did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, they even checked if we were able to make the journey from London in the snow and ice, and offered to let us arrive (and stay) a day later if we were unable to travel on the day we planned (notwithstanding that they had 43 people arriving on the day ...more
