The apartment was a real surprise to me as I had only glanced at the photos when my wife booked it.We felt at home straight away .great views over the harbour mouth from the kitchen and lounge /dining room.Great fun looking at the fishing boat activity and a lovely illuminated nighttime backdrop.Brilliantlocation for shops, buses and walks.we each had our own loo and bathroom as well! No complaints at all.Thank you.
We arrived for one week, and decided to extend out stay for another week or two. A great flat, nice and bright, great top floor space very cosy and has everything you need. I'll be back here in the Summer for sure.
Lovely house to stay in with plenty of room. Would definitely stay again. Stayed with family and friends plenty of room to entertain in a great position with great views. Highly recommend
This apartment was in a superb position with views over the inner harbour, everything was within walking distance and the parking being so close was an added bonus. The beds were really comfortable with quality bedding and the kitchen had all you would need for self catering. The owner was friendly and helpful and access was very good with the key safe. We'd definitely stay again if the occasion arose
Another very enjoyable stay at High Seas. The house has everything you could ask for and no expense has been spared in ensuring you have the best possible stay. The view is excellent and this was very helpful as we had to stay in a lot because of the weather. The provision of Netflix is a real added bonus. As always the only two downsides are the number of steps to get to the house and the car parking but we feel this should not stop most people staying at High Seas.
Had a week at Poppin with my fiancée and without doubt, was the best staycation we have had. The apartment is gorgeous with quality furnishings and the views are stunning (we spent many hours watching the fishing fleet coming and going). The free parking a couple of minutes walk away is a real bonus and the ability to unload directly outside the property very handy. If you're looking for accommodation in Brixham, don't waste any more time searching and book Poppin. We certainly will when we return! Paul & Stacey
We loved Cliff Cottage ,we had amazing sunsets and sun rises,an idyllic place to relax and let the world go by,with a short walk into the town enjoying a warm welcome from the local people.we would love to go back sooner than later.
Truly great place if you want somewhere to get away from it all and just relax. Very snug. Top floor so a few steps but not too many. Very friendly greeting on arrival and helpful with tips on whats on and things to do locally. This was our third visit and every bit as enjoyable as the first. Tom & Jane. 2019.
The property has the most fantastic views, so even if the weather is not so good you can sit on the sofa and watch the commings and goings of the town and fishing boats. Internally the property is very high spec, and it really is as good as the pictures make it out to be. I have very high standards and expectations, and Seascape lived up to them in the most part.
We had a good opening to our holiday by having details that were precise about how we entered the property. We were so happy with the cleanliness and the layout of the place. We loved the setting and the view from our balcony was second to none. We were made up with the proximity to Brixham just down the hill and overall had an excellent stay.
If you are looking for scenery and space, then look no further as you will be rewarded with wonderful, panoramic views each evening from the living room and porch area of this property as well as some of the bedrooms. It is clean with a well equipped kitchen and the owners are helpful and welcoming. You are a short walk (and mostly level) from amenities and the saltwater pool. There are also several excellent restaurants to try out. No need to visit the tourist information centre as the owners provide a guide book plus every leaflet on south Devon and beyond. When we travel south, we are a tot...more
Great quirky place we loved it. We stayed here with our little girl but would be a great options for two couples due to the en-suite bathrooms and general space. Great selection of books however with a toddler on tow an option to read them was limited lol. Both bathrooms were lovely. One offered a bath and shower the other a huge shower. The apartment was warm, spotlessly clean and really welcoming. We appreciated the wine, milk and biscuits left...thank you! The location is perfect being above a lovely coffee shop and a few steps away from Liberties cocktail bar as well as being in th...more
This was our Second Visit to Smugglers Cottage , Brixham - And as Last Year we Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay ! It Passes All the Yardsticks for a Holiday Home with Ease - Comfort , Cleanliness , Facilities Etc. Parking can be Difficult , but that goes with The Area. Price is Par for the Course , does`nt everybody wish Holidays could be Cheaper ? Highly Recommendable , and Well Serviced by The Owner.
The Bay View apartment was very comfortable, with plenty of space for 4 adults. The location was excellent for exploring Brixham town centre as long as you are fit enough to climb the 59 steps up from the road. Parking on the harbour side was good to have although unfortunately we found our reserved space was used a couple of times when we returned from a say out. We requested a later check out on the last day and this was agreed with no problem. Nothing was too much trouble.
This is the place I come to with my sister to chill out and unwind. I couldn’t think of anywhere I’d rather be. Midships is maintained to a high standard spotlessly clean, even refreshments are supplied including a bottle of wine, how lovely. I would recommend Midships that’s my kind of heaven.
four of us stayed to celebrate my wifes birthday and enjoy the christmas light switch on . we had a fab time and the property was well equiped. The weather was very wet so it was nice to come back to a warm house and have loverly hot showers.
Coral is a beautiful space that was just perfect for our first visit to Brixham. The views are wonderful and being able to sit in the sunny bay windows with a book after a coastal walk was blissful. The house has been beautifully and thoughtfully refurbished and everything from the lighting to the comfy mattresses and bedding has been considered to ensure maximum comfort. Customer service offered by Steven and the team was spot on. All in all, a wonderful holiday with a wonderful company in a wonderful place. P.s. you must visit The Curious Kitchen in Brixham - best coffee, cakes, brunc...more
Had a lovely time with some fantastic extra touches such as tea, milk, biscuits and flowers. Watching the harbour day and night was fascinating - even when it rained!
After an awful lot of research I booked this apartment for us to celebrate Dad's 90th birthday. Arrangements for obtaining the keys and access were well organised and straight forward - the allocated parking is also a bonus. The apartment suited our needs perfectly with easy access into the block and then a lift which takes you to just outside the front door. The apartment is well laid out and spacious with beautiful views. It has everything you need for a 'home from home' stay. The comfy chairs in the lounge windows lend themselves to just watching the world go by. The weather was kind to us ...more
Comfortable warm cottage, comfy bed, everything you need. Gets you fit walking up and down steps each day! One downside for us was the house in front having some scaffolding up which didnt block the view completely but was always evident. Luckily no workmen apparent as this would have been a problem. Great having a Smart tv and access to Netflix during Storm Dennis!!!
We arrived on Monday evening to find that the kettle had stopped working, after leaving a message we quickly got a message that a new one was on its way and within half an hour there was a knock at the door and a replacement, this quick service impressed us. The house was beautifully decorated, a little quirky, and had everything we needed. A home from home. The best thing was the views of the harbour, which was stunning and so relaxing to watch. I highly recommend this property and will be coming back.
This is our 4th visit to Osprey 2, and the first time that I wasn't completely happy, the bathroom seemed to smell of cigarettes which we couldn't get rid of it, we had to keep the door shut at all times to stop the smell coming into the rest of the apartment
We decided last minute to stay in this apartment due to my work commitments in Devon for a couple of days. We have stayed at the Cove many times since it opened in 2015 mainly on the front row. The apartment on arrival was spotlessly clean and lovely fixtures making it bright and homely. Housekeeping team deserve a medal for cleanliness. The added bonus of parking near by is a winner for us. If you like walking the south west coast path runs to the rear of apartment. We would definitely stay in plover 2 again in the near future. booking process and customer service made easy by Steve & ...more
Had a fantastic time. Weather wasn't too good but had the comforts of the apartment, nice little home from home. Everything you could think of to make our stay perfect....even had tea coffee and milk in the fridge..will definitely stay again.
Have stayed before so new what to expect. Gates need repairs and could do with more lighting outside. Would certainly visit again but as we are getting older possibly a stay nearer the harbour may be a consideration
This was our second visit to The Cove. The setting is beautiful overlooking the bay - especially when the sun shines. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Ideal location with plenty to do in the local area. Would highly recommend.
This was our second stay and booked a 3rd as soon as we got home . Absolutely spotless throughout - very well equipped kitchen - amazing view , plenty of room for everyone and great to have a big table for everyone to sit round . Excellent location just a couple of mins from the pubs restaurants shops and harbour .
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and probably won't be the last. 6 dolphin court is such good value for money as it's so comfortable with everything we needed and such a short easy walk to the town, also the western lady for the boat over to Torquay. It's great that there is parking, we hardly needed the car so it's good not to have to worry once it is parked up. The glimpse of the breakwater out the main window is perfect and I could sit and watch the boat coming in all day. Fingers crossed we will be back next year.
The Sandpiper 3 Holiday Apartment was clean, nicely furnished with all mod cons including a smart TV. The location has lovely seaviews across Torbay. The only gripe about the accommodation was the rock hard beds that made you feel like you've done 12 rounds with Mike Tyson at the end of the night! There are some lovely walks through the woodland and down into the 2 coves that span either side of the development. We were able to use the small club house on the adjacent holiday park although we went just out of the main season. The bar staff were very friendly and they do a bit of standard Pub...more
It was homely clean coud live there if kitchen bigger and a wash machine. Stairs not for the weak.everything on your door step ie brixham Harbour.glad I had my binoculars for fantastic views off torbay especially at night with the lights.me and hubby loved it and would definitely want to go back.
Fantastic view out to sea and Brixham harbour. Great apartment but be prepared for the flights of stairs and many other steps to get there.
The road leading to the property is quite narrow and parking can be a bit of a nightmare but after moving our cars twice we managed to find a perfect spot. Luckily for us we had not planned to move the car until the end of our stay. We planned to make full use of the beautiful walks around Brixham...and we did! When we arrived at the property and open the hallway door into the lounge area you are instantly hit with the amazing views over the harbour. This was without a doubt why we opted for this cottage. The photos don’t do the view justice it was amazing. Unfortunately, there was...more
We stayed with our children and their grandparents at the Dragon's Nest for a week over February half-term. The house is well situated only a short walk from the many bars, restaurants and shops in Brixham with a fabulous view across the harbour which is lovely day and night whatever the weather! It was a bonus to have a car parking space as I believe they can be hard to come by in Brixham, it did appear small but we managed to fit a VW Transporter in there so it can't have been that small. My parents parked on a street not too far away and avoided any additional charges. The house was lovely ...more
