I've stayed at the Studio a number of times and was delighted to return, it was perfect as ever. Tricia always ensures guests feel at home and are looked after. The apartment is well-equipped not just with all the kitchen goods, utensils etc, basic foodstuffs (oil, vinegar, milk and so on) but useful bits like sellotape, stationery, and so on. Everything is clean and tidy, and charts in each room show what has been cleaned, laundered, disinfected, rotated, and when.
I use the studio as a base for the festival, it is perfect for this in its location and easy access to venues. But it's the same for any time of year as all the attractions of the Old and New Towns are within walking distance. It's a 10-15 walk from Waverley station and Princes Street with its bus and tram connections. It's within a gated complex with covered walkways and an attractive courtyard, and has a view up to the Castle. Prices are reasonable even at festival time when everyone's rates sky-rocket. I highly recommend it.

Wow! What an INCREDIBLE apartment in the most perfect position in Edinburgh. This apartment is self catering, it has everything you need to cook, washing machine, lovely bathroom and cosy lounge/bedroom area. We spent 6nights there and didn't want to leave. It's appropriate for a couple and there is a "little sleeper couch thing" that could work for a child. The view is stunning, it looks on to Edinburgh Castle. There are some really awesome Scottish Pubs just down the road AND a local Sainsburys up the road. Everything is in walking distance. Honestly the best place to be for a getaway to Edinburgh.

We've been renting this property nearly every year for the last 19 years and we've never been disappointed yet.
The owner has spent money on maintaining and improving the property over the years and the flat is bright, clean, warm and comfortable.
Located a few minutes walk from the Royal Mile and and a walkable distance from Edinburgh Waverly Bridge Station and Prince's Street the flat is an ideal base for a visit to Edinburgh.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink close by but the flat also has a good kitchen and there is a small supermarket a few minutes away.
There is a wealth of information regarding local attractions, restaurants and transport as well as a decent Wi-Fi Broadband connection.

Our plan was for 5 days of intense site seeing of Edinburgh with a convenient base to relax. It fitted our needs perfectly. The flat was well equipped and had an extensive library of tourist information. Don't be put off by the route from the outer gate to the flat. Once inside the views of the castle are impressive and we watched them building the stand for the festival.

Apartment is very clean, comfortable and homely. The owner was very proactive providing reminder emails and detailed instructions to locate the apartment. Further, they provided cooking utensils (e.g. pots and pans) and condiments. The apartment is close to restaurants in the grassmarket and has nice views of the castle from the kitchen window. The location is good, walking distance to most of the attractions, except quite difficult to find the apartment during the first time visit, especially with our heavy luggages. The studio is spacious and very clean, like the design of the studio. There is a chinese restaurant not far from the studio, which is very good for us who miss chinese cuisine a lot. Will book again in the next trip in Edinburgh. Highly recommended!

First of all was the instructions how to find it-clear down to the last detail. Then the flat itself, I would love to live there fulltime. The location of this studio was a delight. In spite of the strange look of the building (for a french person), the apartment is pretty and very well equiped. With five large windows, the main room, the kitchen and the bathroom are very luminous. From the kitchen, you can take your breakfast looking to the Edinburgh Castle. The building is quiet, there is not some road or street near the windows. Perfect for 2 or 3 persons.

We were totally bowled over by everything to do with this wonderful studio flat! The location was excellent with amazing views of Edinburgh Castle out of the kitchen window. The supermarket was only a two minute walk away & the bus stop was only a few yards away. The flat was immaculately clean, the bed extremely comfortable, the bathroom excellent & everything we could ever need was provided, even down to umbrellas, shopping totes & a torch. it was a second home away from home. everything was absolutly perfect!!! we found everything we needed just right there!!! a supermarket 3 min. distance walking. Great location and close to a lot of hotspots in old town. bus stop 1 min. distance Excellent at all !!!

Sincerely, i´d go back right now. There´s no noise at all. Unless the doors are open. Bummer it´s always so full. I´d buy it off if i had the money...
