The Eagles is so cosy and feels like a home from home. Very well equipped but the main sofa needs to be replaced as it’s not very comfortable

Comfortable, well equipped and warm with good central heating and a log burner. Tiny negatives but not major spoilers that would improve overall experience are;
slightly in need of some redecoration in some places and cleaners need a cobweb brush.

Fantastic week at the Eagles. Really lovely property with well equipped kitchen and great location. Aberffraw beach just a short walk away and lots of other walking routes nearby. Would highly recommend - we hope to return soon.

Great location, fantastic house and plenty of room in the house.
Ideal for walking to the beach and surrounding areas and if you want to drive further afield.
Would highly recommend to anybody wanting a short or long break as the house has everything you need.

Very nice cottage, very clean.
Everything you could think of was in there.
Only issue we found was the downstairs shower leaked, the door doesn't shut probably and leaves a gap for the water to come through.

We spent a lovely and comfortable week at the Eagles.
House was very clean and warm on arrival with everything we needed for our stay.
Aberffraw is our favourite location with stunning views down the estuary and the wonderful,frequently deserted beach.
A definite favourite of ours.

A wonderful stay at the Eagles! The house was beautifully furnished and well equipped- we had everything we needed. Sofas and beds comfy and towels were thick and of good quality. Soap and washing up liquid supplied. Two minutes walk to the dog beach and a dog wash in the garden - brilliant! And all with a parking space. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. (Door mat inside front door would have been useful)

We had a great time in Aberffraw. The cottage is lovely, loads of room for our family, the beds were comfy, it had everything we needed.

The location is perfect also right near the beach and the local pub. We’ll definitely be staying there again in the future!

We had a wonderful week at the Eagles we felt at home immediately and it was most comfortable.
For us it was an excellent location for long walks and access to the beach with our dogs.

Really good ideal holiday with dogs near to sea and no need to get in the car.Already booked for next year.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Eagles in total (2nd time booked with Anglesey Holiday Lettings). It is such a warm and comfortable place to stay with everything you need. The master bedroom is super comfortable - I cannot fault The Eagles. Aberffraw is such a peaceful place to be and the landlord at The Crown is very welcoming!! I would not hesitate recommending The Eagles. Thanks!

The Eagles, was warm (too warm had to get them to reduce the heat) cosy,and comfortable. The kitchen was well equiped with quality pots,pans utensils etc. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The nautical pieces gave the place a true seaside feel.
Loved the log burner for our winter nights in. Location wise it was perfect,no need to use the car, lovely walks straight from your door. Was a shame the local pub was closed due to covid.
We will be back!!

Lovely home from home with many mod cons.
Would definitely stay again as great location to explore the Island of Anglesey.
Tips/advice: take slippers with you, washing machine outside in a closed passage way(no dryer), could do with door mats/trays for dirty shoes, no welcome pack so pack some essentials (tea,coffee, bread, milk etc). No TV in 2nd or 3rd bedrooms, extra clothes hangers would have been useful as would another wardrobe. No immediate parking outside - double yellow lines but parking space just round the corner so no real issue.
Not complaining- we were 4 adults there for a week and we all enjoyed , the cosy, cottage and village itself with little shop , church & great secluded beach 15/20 mins walk (no facilities just golden beach & sea)

Aberffraw is a lovely village location within right next to the stunning beach and coastal path walk, with a decent local pub just round the corner from the accommodation. The Eagles is delightful characterful property with everything that you could need for you holiday, the beds are very comfy, clean linen, huge baths and a log burner. A massive thanks to the Anglesey Holiday lettings team for the great communication regarding Covid and the ease of moving our booking to the new date in September, as we were previously unable to travel due to restrictions. We would highly recommend The Eagles and are hoping to make a return visit.

No expense spared on the interior of the cottage unfortunately the same cannot be said for the courtyard and garden the table and bench combo.in the garden needs updating as does the small garden,the courtyard needs a good clean and the bins need being kept in the ginnel,the outside space needs the attention to detail that the interior has had,but we had great time apart from the above mentioned would go again.

We particularly loved walking from The Eagles down to the Church in the sea, the views & nature along the way were spectacular & we can't wait to return.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was lovely, really clean and well equipped. The main beds were super comfortable and it is a good quality shower and bath. It is in a fabulous location, a few minutes walk from the estuary which is ideal for paddleboarding and walking dogs. The beach is a beautiful walk approx 15+minutes along the estuary or a longer walk through the grass and sand dunes. There is a small garden which is a lovely suntrap. We would definitely return. Thank you

Only suggestions for improvements are somewhere to hang clothes in the master bedroom and some hooks for coats and a tray for sandy footwear would be useful. Only negative of whole week was a persistent barking dog to one side but it wouldn't stop us returning. Neighbours with dogs on the other side were very welcoming and friendly.

I had stayed at the Eagles 5 years ago but it has been upgraded since then. It’s very comfortable and well equipped. The bed in the main bedroom was super comfortable! A treat for me having a TV in the room too! It’s in a great location for getting to the wonderful beach and also short drive to Rhosneigr. You can also get the bus there and walk back along the coast path. Aberffraw itself is very quiet away from the beach and pub (not open when I visited due to Covid) is a lovely place to sit out and have a drink and something to eat. My one comment is it would be good if it had a radio but that’s all!

We loved staying in The Eagles. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need including comfy beds! The beach at Aberffraw is one of our favourites and there are plenty of great walks nearby. We even discovered a new cidery within walking distance on our last day. We will definitely be back!

Happy time spent there .feel that more hangers required for outdoor clothes. Only need hooks on back of doors
Extra care needed for dirty washing machine in gingell.

It was such a relief to get away to such a beautiful and comfortable house. We all commented on how good the beds were and how well we slept. We loved having meals round the large dining table, we did a lot of cooking in the house due to places in the area not being fully open post lockdown and it was well kitted out to do that.
We all loved the house.
Five stars. We will be back.

Despite Storm Dennis, we thoroughly enjoyed our week half term break at the Eagles. Having stayed here once before some years before, it was lovely to return and to see the fantastic renovations that have occurred. The house is very comfortable and well furnished. It was so good to return home after a beach walk or bike ride to a wood burning stove and a hot bath. The Rhosniegr Holiday Lettings Team were fantastic in dealing with any issues that arose even though their work load was greater than usual in the wake of the storm. The area is great for exploring both on foot or by bike. We love the easy access to the beach and the close proximity to Rhosneigr. We would love to return next year.

Arrived to a garden where the grass was completely over grown .Reported immediately but not resolved for 3 days. Back yard a complete mess with paint tins and tools left so could not use recycle bins . Finally found washing machine in alley way which was also broken .Both neighbours have barking dogs so very noisey . Such a shame as the interier is absolutelyl lovely. .We had problems with front door which kept opening when cars went past so dangerous for dogs or children. When we returned home we telephoned to express our concerns and the woman in office was extremely rude. We are aware one of the above issues had been reported by the previous residents !!
Overall disappointing experience with very poor customer service. Still waiting for owner to get back to us to discuss

Thank you for submitting your review for The Eagles. As discussed with my staff, the issues you experienced are not as described, my staff were not rude to you; I was present in the office during your call and you were talking over my staff whilst they were trying to discuss / resolve the alleged issues you were experiencing. My staff work hard to resolve issues on behalf of the owners and we score well for this. The washing machine was reported to us by the previous occupants on the day of your arrival, the parts were ordered immediately. We were unaware that the grass had not been cut (as per contract) and sought a resolution as quickly as possible. The door was not faulty, you simply failed to close it properly; no one before or after you have had an issue with this! I have personally visited the property on many occasions and I have not experienced noisy neighbours or barking dogs! Some of the issues you raised were done so on completion of your holiday and not immediately as expected and requested in your arrival letter; this did not give anyone the opportunity to resolve. Overall a disappointing and unfair review.
