Sat in an elevated position with outstanding views over Loch Earn from the kitchen, lounge balcony and the viewing platform in the rear garden with a clear mountain burn running alongside where you can relax and enjoy the fantastic views. An open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area on the upper floor. Three double bedrooms and one twin bedroom with family bathroom on the ground floor. Travel to historic places, Stirling, Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow are all within easy travelling distance. The Sustrans route 7 cycle route passes through Lochearnhead and the developing Three Saints Way runs behind Burnside. Loch Earn is a very popular area for water sports and fishing during the summer season. The Village hosts the Black Faced Sheep Shearing competition, Loch Earn Boatrace, and Highland Games annually. The Balvaig Music Festival and the Mhor Festival are just a short drive away and are held every summer.

We were here for a major orienteering competition in the nearby forests/moorlands. The cottage was ideal for an extended family group. Very nicely organised and all the facilities one could ask for. Brilliant views over Loch Earn and the mountains beyond. Would definitely go again.

The nice people in the Lochearnhead Hotel called it the "Upside Down House" because the kitchen and living room were on the top floor, up a spiral staircase. All four bedrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and appliances we needed for our two week stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking on the top floor deck, and also up the hill behind the house on a freestanding wood deck. One of my fondest memories will be watching the meteor shower with my sons up there while looking down over the loch, with a crystal clear sky full of stars overhead. We really loved staying there and didn't want to leave!
