Aberturret is a lovely traditional cottage set in the grounds of an old Dower House close to the River Turret on the outskirts of the popular tourist town of Crieff. Tastefully decorated throughout, the cottage provides comfortable and cosy accommodation. It is well equipped throughout and has lots of books, games and videos for you to enjoy. Aberturret Cottage has its own huge garden (complete with river running through) and lots of mature plants and trees. This setting is perfect for walking or cycling, with Loch Turret close by, The Knock and Lady Mary's Walk in Crieff. Nearby Comrie offers Glen Artney and Glen Lednock to explore and beyond is St Fillans, Loch Earn, Ben Vorlich and Killin. From Aberturret Cottage you have on hand golf courses at Crieff, Comrie, Muthill, St Fillans and around 20 minutes by car, the world famous championships at The Gleneagles Hotel.

Idyllic Perthshire Retreat :)

I am just home after spending a fabulous 4 nights at Aberturret Cottage with my children and dogs. The owner Lucinda was very helpful on the lead up to my stay, and although she wasn't around during my stay she made sure I was fully up to date with information and advice should I need to contact someone. There was also an abundance of helpful notes and leaflets left within the cottage (and some yummy lemon drizzle cake - thank you). The cottage provided us with everything that we needed, it was very comfortable and relaxing and in the ideal location - Crieff and Comrie both within easy reach. We very much enjoyed the beautiful garden, my dogs and children spent most of their time paddling in the stream (we were blessed with amazing weather and temps of 26 degrees). Highly recommend! :)
