Already raised to staycation holidays there’s a few items not up to standard with the property.
- Dishwasher was not clean on arrive, once cleaned it was found not to be working my husband spent 30mins fault finding and replaced the fuse we think contacts weren’t making connection or loose. On-site team did come to replace the dishwater at 8.30pm on arrival evening but by then we had found the issue ourselves and fixed it.
- Could of been more dishwasher tabs due to size of the dishwasher and amount of people.
- Supply of washing up liquid was also limited.
- WC’s in the guestbook claimed to be supplied with 2 toilet rolls per bathroom, however we only had 2 in one bathroom none in the other.
- Pans in the kitchen were very limited only one small pan supplied.
- Oven shelf’s fell out when we took a one of the shelves out, maybe one of the side brackets is broken.
- We wanted to wash some towels in the laundry and found the washing machine to be out of order.
- Games room is without a white ball for pool, and overall needs items replacing.
Just a final point we haven’t seen anyone on reception to raise any issues to, also one day we were wanting to buy some logs. Also improvement may be to have a mat at the back door for muddy boots and dogs if applicable.
Hope these points can be taken onboard for next guests, we found the above to be expected from other holidays we have taken in the UK in self catering accommodation.

Great location for exploring the Peak District and Bakewell. Loved the pool which was very warm and perfect for rainy days
