The cottage is ideal for two grandparents, a 2 years old grandaughter, and a doggy. An enclosed garden to the rear offers a nice play area with great views over Swansea and Swansea Bay. Cottage a little drafty when windy, but it is high up and the views compensate for this, and there is central heating. Perhaps a thick curtain to cover the back porch door on an evening would be the answer, but then you would have to shut out the twinkly lights of Swansea that so fascinated our grandaughter. The Hayloft was in the perfect location for us, the accommodation is great with upstairs living area with well stocked kitchen, great views, especially at night. Only problem is that it was cold and there was no hot water. not sure if we were not pressing the right buttons on the boiler or not.
Five friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable and unforgettable experience. The welcome was warm and provided by Alan who clearly know much about Dylan, his family and the history of the house. The attention to detail and information in each room was excellent. To have the opportunity to soak up 'the vibe' of this unique property was amazing. Thank you Geoff and his team for maintaining this living museum, the experience was hugely enjoyed by all.
The cottages are located in a lovely spor with amazing views. The Dairy cottage was warm and cosy. It had all the things I needed.
our second stay here...welcome still as warm took advantage of the horse riding facilities...great lesson and walk with Morgan
Following another lovely stay in the mignon Chapel Barn, we needed to extend our stay. We were offered Horseshoe cottage for an extra couple of nights as the other cottages were booked. Sarah & Team went out of their way to accommodate us at short notice and kindly transferred our copious amount of baggage over for us, whilst we carried on with our day. Great service which we really appreciated. Horseshoe Cottage was absolutely great, spacious yet homely, full of character and with the most cheery bathroom tiles I've ever come across, you can't help but get up happy with those. Stunning...more
A cottage set in woodland, Great cycle paths nearby and ability to have as much fun and make as much noise as you want!
It was a lovely stay. Nice place and nice people, we went horse riding and climbing and enjoyed use of the stone barn for a part. The location is beautiful.
It was a perfect location for our large family group. We went on lovely, picturesque walks and played rounders in the garden.
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well equipped, great welcome pack including treats for the four legged family members! Helpful information sent before our visit and staff very helpful during our stay.
