We won the competition for a two night stay for 4 people. So we arrived with our family of four. I had added extras onto our booking too like travel cot and high chair for free which were waiting for us. We also had a lovely welcome pack of fresh Welsh cakes, lager, milk and teas/coffee etc. Such a nice touch! The rooms were a good size and comfy beds. Lots of extras like tea towel, washing up liquid/ some dishwasher tablets etc too. My eldest loved the fact it was an upside down house as we were staying in the Hayloft. The weather was awful on the first day so just ventured into Swansea and t...more
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Stables Cottage. Very welcoming, with homely touches, such as Welsh cakes and a pint of milk in a ‘real’ glass bottle :). Very clean and comfortable, amazing location, lovely views, amazing sunsets from the kitchen window, friendly efficient staff..... what more could you want?.Perfect.
A fantastic piece of restored and maintained literary history. I loved my stay. Many thanks to all the volunteers who have, and continue, to ensure the house is available to the public. I look forward to returning in the future!
We arrived after the office has closed. Key and information to our footage were found exactly where it was mentioned. A little later Geoff, stopped by to say hi. A small welcoming surprise of Welsh cakes and beers were waiting for us. Although the wind came through the doors (not surprising knowing the vintage of the farm) the cottage was well heated. The surrounding view was breathtaking. Love the history of the place.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BOTH BUSINESS AND PLEASURE STAYS. VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT SERVICE. WONDERFUL LOCATION.
Really lovely little cottage, little bit drafty and leaky but what old cottages arent! The hosts were very welcoming and quick to provide us an extra heater and fix the little leak above the doorway to keep the cottage cosy. Great value for money and a brilliant location and view on a good day although the town is quite a fair way away. Overall brilliant and very friendly.
The best that I can comment about Clyne farm centre is that the view from our accommodation in Horseshoe cottage was amazing. We had a superbly panoramic landscape featuring the city and bay of Swansea which we all agreed was truly beautiful. The cottage is well equipped and is comfortable and it is nice to stay on a working farm with all of the animals close by. On the down side the shower is inconsistent in that the water temperature fluctuates from hot to very hot and down to cold, which is not at all pleasant. It appears to alter when taps or appliances that use water are turned on or...more
