Used Berry Farm for a family holiday, fantastic place with lots of space inside and out. Wonderful.
Nice location. Near to everything. Houses very comfortable and very well equipped.Part of a large party all well catered for.
Lovely property. Large en-suite bedroom amazing. Good back garden , we were able to have a bbq for the whole family.
Cottages very clean, location excellent, hosts very welcoming. Party of 29 in four different houses. Swimming pool ideal size. Very central to the local attractions. Weather very good for the time of year. would come again.
We had a second stay at Cuckoo Down Farm and having had a great experience for a girly weekend in a Yurt last year, this time we were in a Safari tent that also had everything we needed and more. The Kitchen is well equipped with utensils, sachets of tea, coffee and milk etc are a great welcome. Fresh flowers on the table and a warm welcome from Becky. The nights were cold but the log burner was a real comfort and Becky also checked to see if we needed extra blankets. The children had a fabulous time, pony riding, feeding chickens and sheep and an Easter Egg Hunt. The freedom the children hav...more
A beautiful cottage in an excellent location. Nice and tidy and cosy. A great base to explore Skye and Wester Ross
Absolutely ideal for two families. Great holiday. Ten of us stayed in the house, plenty of room. Good location.
The farmhouse was the perfect location for us (three families), a quiet location near the north Devon beaches. It enabled us to have a lovely holiday together. From the scones and lovely fresh flowers on arrival to the provision of extra items when required (we needed a second high chair and cot) nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely stay and may well come again! We would highly recommend this Braunton Farmhouse.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairways East, fantastic location and great facilities in the pavillion and outside, stunning views and great location for the north coast beaches as well as different locations for Tarka trail cycling. We were very lucky with the weather, watching the sun rise from the conservatory over the peaceful golf course was such a lovely experience. Some of the beds were too hard (we were told, ours was fine) and some bathrooms a little bit dated but completely adequate. Water pressure in showers very weak but again this did not affect the enjoyment of our stay. ...more
Great place to stay. A complex of converted farm buildings in lovely surroundings. In total sleeps around 50 in various configurations. We were there in March awful weather but warm and cosy. Not a criticism but be aware: kitchen fully equipt but no store goods e.g. salt, pepper, oil, clingfilm etc. If you think you'll need it bring it.
The owners are friendly . The location is in a field with a stream and wood close by for the children to explore . There were lambs for the children to bottle feed and a pony to ride . The tents themselves are a good size and the main double bed was very comfortable . It is only a short drive to the coast and it really is a nice area . The only small negatives were that the wood burner does not heat the tent very well on the colder nights and the only power is for two lights powered by a solar panel . The tent would be improved with more solar panels to provide a little power for such thi...more
Three families getting together to celebrate New Year in style. The cottage is amazing, the kitchen is well equipped, the seating is plentiful and very comfortable and the dining table is enormous! The 6 en-suite bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and it was a luxury for everyone to have their own bathroom. It is very rare to find enough en-suite bedrooms at a reasonable price. The only slight negative is that 3 of the bathrooms had baths with hand held shower attachments, rather than proper showers. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. There was e...more
This was our second visit to Wheel Farm staying in a different cottage. The accommodation is perfectly clean and very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Location is great and near to all the main beaches without the congestion that goes with it. Throroughly recommend this property and will stay again.
Very comfortable and well equipped cottage which had everything we needed. The cottage was finished and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen was rather small, but we managed!
Biallid House perfect for family ages from 5-76! Everything you could need plus more. Jean gave us a warm welcome and a fabulous guide to the local area. Loads to do and see for all, the Wildcat walk kept us busy too. Need to change details on the web about the stables being next door they are now in Kingussie.
Plenty of space and everything needed for a comfortable holiday. Good swimming pool. Disappointing for the golfers in our group that golf course was closed for most of our stay due to wet weather. They were able to play elsewhere nearby. Helpful staff.
- very fine stay in the very nice location - 3 remarks : - - - once the WiFi came on its performance was very poor - not workable - - - a cooker hood above the cooker in the citchen would be an advantage as now the fire alarm was activated regularly - - - more pans and pots would great as it the actual set will not be sufficient when cooking for 10 people
Surprisingly spacious accommodation located 5 minutes walk from Croyde beach and shops. Well specified kitchen, comfy bedrooms and dog proof garden making this an ideal location for our short stay. Would recommend and will look to stay there again when the surfing bug returns! Only neutral comments would be 'dog tax' seemed a little excessive, and no negotiation for booking a shorter stay at certain times.
We booked here as it is near friends in the area and my 8 year old was excited about the fishing. (Sadly the weather was horrid, so no fishing was done.) We arrived very late after first visiting with our friends and only after entering did we realise we forgot milk for our morning coffee. On a whim, my husband looked in the fridge and saw a small container of milk - what a wonderful and very welcoming extra! The owners also left a box of biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar! The cottage was well appointed, had a comfortable bed and a nice "homey" feel about it. The owners were very welcoming and r...more
It was a lovely little cottage, we felt really relaxed and nicely treated. We would definitely return back again.
Small but cosy cottage well placed for Fowey via a pleasant woodland walk. Well equipped. Second bedroom is accessed via first bedroom but has lots of character. Ideal for families.
A clean well presented holiday home. Plenty of off street parking with a large enclosed garden. Great location for walking into Braunton. Sauton Sands and Croyde just a short drive away. The beds were very comfortable, and both bedrooms had lovely on suite bathrooms. Natasha had kindly left a goodie basket with wine and nibbles, and popped round to check everything was ok. She was easy to contact and very helpful with her responses. A few points to note. The steps leading to the front door are quite high. No cleaning products other than washing up liquid, and dishwasher tablets. No torch...more
There is a strong smell of damp in the cottage and in fact the appliance instructions in the kitchen drawer are very damp as a result. The shower doesn't work and if you want a bath you would need to allow an eternity for it to actually fill. I think it very mean of the hosts to only provide 1 dishwasher tablet, 1 laundry tablet, virtually no washing up liquid and no washing up sponge. I wouldn't stay again.
