Northleigh House is a large four bedroom self-catering property in the pretty village of Goodleigh. The period farmhouse accommodates up to eight and is only a short drive from North Devon's premier attractions including its golden coastline.

We really enjoyed our stay at Northleigh House - it was the perfect getaway nestled in a gorgeous valley that stretches all the way to the beach. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of different areas for chats/activities, we also really enjoyed the hot tub and lush garden! Such a beautiful spot, would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend in the Devon countryside. The only reason for the 4 in the comfort is that two of the rooms in the main house don’t have a proper partition so there isn’t much privacy between them. But the beds, sofas, chairs etc were all super comfy. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would consider coming again!

Fantastic property & garden, with a cottage nextdoor that can also be rented (we had 8, so no need to), the property had plenty of room & everyone loved the huge dinning table that converted into a pool table.
The views were amazing, we sat out of an evening in front of the firepit, not sure what is around the area, as we spent all weekend in the house,hot tub & gardens.

A great getaway. Incredibly comfortable. Lots to do in and around the house and garden. Everything needed for an enjoyable and relaxed family holiday was provided.
Beautiful location, with good pub nearby and some great local walks (if rather hilly).
We can't recommend it enough.

We had a wonderful week long holiday.The weather was gorgeous which meant we wanted to make the most of the spa pool and the firepit and the wonderful garden as well as exploring the beaches and vicinity.
The lovely big house was easy to live in and perfect for our needs.

Lovely house in idyllic setting. The house and garden had everything we could have wished for and more. We've been thoroughly recommending it to friends and family to book!

Northleigh House was absolutely brilliant. We visited during the covid times, and had been warned that not all facilities would be available (eg. no board games, no pool table, no table tennis) but it didn't matter one bit. The house has so many great spaces within it that we had plenty of room to spread out and occupy ourselves. And the grounds are beautiful, and there's a proper coal BBQ that we used.
Because of COVID travel restrictions we were only 2 children and 3 adults in the house as the rest of the party could not come. But the house clearly could handle many more people.
We would like in particular to thank the housekeepers who we briefly met. Really friendly and helpful, and certainly we felt very safe knowing how well cleaned the house was.
A great and spacious house, set within beautiful grounds, well positioned to get the most out of North Devon. Perfect holiday, thank you!

Eight of us, young and old, enjoyed a week at Northleigh House. The house is in a great location for the beaches and attractions. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was the best equipped we have ever experienced. House is spacious with lovely gardens and views.

This house has beautiful gardens overlooking a tranquil valley. It is a rural location but within easy reach of the beaches, although it is a drive it was lovely to come back to peace and quiet!
The house was great for all the family with spacious rooms and had a v well equipped kitchen! We would book again, thank you!

Very comfortable and well equipped. Owners were friendly and helpful when we had questions. Beautiful views from the garden. Plenty of walks and beaches a short drive away. Would thoroughly recommend.
