Situated close to the south-west Cornwall coast, with views down a rolling valley towards the sea, Polurrian House is a magnificent redevelopment of an old barn in a brilliant location, just a mile from the spectacular National Trust beach at Poldhu Cove well as the charming village of Mullion, the quite stunning Kynance Cove and the rest of the magnificent Lizard Peninsula to explore. This luxury holiday home is fitted to a magnificent specification throughout including a private hot tub. The experienced Owner has thought of absolutely everything to ensure your holiday accommodation is of the highest standard.

A good place to come together as a family

The barn conversions on this plot look and feel new. We where welcomed with a plate of goodies in the kitchen and milk in the fridge - nothing like a nice cuppa after long journey. Kitchen / diner & lounge all integrate upstairs, with a toilet & x1 bedroom, but the space all flows nicely (dogs very confused with the upstairs / downstairs situation, but loved hanging out on the balcony !) Hot tub in a private location, but may not be to right temperature on your first day. Garden open with lovely views (sea view in the very distance on easterly side) - please be aware that garden is not enclosed so eagle eyes for your children & canines ! The bedrooms where are all different and lovely & we all struggled to decide which ones we wanted ! - We are a family of sleeping well or waking up, but the beds here made us all sleep very well & even lie in OMG ! ... The owner lives near and asked if all ok, we had no issues, but a nice touch. Overall a good location for whichever direction you want to go, it all ended too soon ...

Polurrian House is a luxury holiday home which is ideal for families or groups of friends. It is part of a barn conversion consisting of several luxury holiday homes, The accommodation is very spacious and equipped with top of the range fittings and equipment making it a very comfortable place to stay. It is in an idyllic location surrounded be beautiful countryside in the Lizard Peninsula yet is only a few minutes drive to Poldu Cove and Mullion village. The upstairs living area give super views over the fields and there is a private garden for barbecues, dining and with the hot tub as well as a shared large lawn area, ideal for children. The luxury hot tub was really appreciated! The owner is helpful and can often be seen around the barns if you have any questions. There is parking and a lovely shared courtyard at the front. The whole area has been really well designed and appointed with style and thought. I would recommend staying here if you want a peaceful, luxury location yet still close to beaches and places of local interest. We wouldn't hesitate to return if staying in this area again.

Booked for a weeks stay at the end of July. On arrival we were delighted with the cottage, it was fabulous, clean and luxurious! The welcome pack was a lovely and much appreciated touch. The garden at the back was great for the children to play in and the hot tub was used a lot. The location is great for exploring the Lizard and surrounding area. There’s a fantastic beach a mile away which we visited twice.

Our holiday in Cornwall was really amazing an the house is great. Everything was in great condition and the owner answered our wishes immediately. The rooms are large and very clean and the area around the house is quiet und great to relax. Wonderful view to the sea and lots of possibilities to explore the area by walking. I would highly recommend the house and your service in advance.

We had a lovely stay at Polurrian House. Everything about it has been done to a high spec and with high quality furnishings and accessories. The hot tub is a lovely addition and we really appreciateed the welcome tray too! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the property. We found the location convenient. You will need a car but we didn’t find it a problem. The local village of Mullion is close by for local shopping and we loved the local cove, Poldhu, which has an excellent surf school (we all had lessons!) and also has a great beach cafe, lovely food. There is a very friendly equestrian centre in Mullion, Newton equestrian centre, which we used as well.
There is also a very good local gin, Curio, which we’d recommend!
