Ploughman's Cottage is a charming family holiday home with an open living / dining / kitchen area. There is a master double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, a family bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower plus an additional cloakroom. There is parking for up to two vehicles next to the cottage and the house is surrounded by a mature garden.

We had a lovely week at Ploughman's cottage.
The living areas are spacious, giving us plenty of space to eat, play games or just chill. The larder was well stocked with kitchen basics such as spices, oil, etc. and there was plenty of loo paper. There were views from almost every window especially when the sun shone and at sunset.
Edinbane is a small hamlet with restaurants, an excellent play area for youngsters and a delightful pottery. We walked to the beach and enjoyed watching the tide come in and submerge the islands we were standing on. We also found a hidden waterfall. The cottage is located close to several excellent restaurants outside Edinbane.
Easy access to Portree, old man of Storr, Staffin Island, Dunvegan and other sites on Skye.

Cottage very clean and well maintained beds very comfortable beautiful scenery I recommend talking midge candle if you want to sit outside

3 bed cottage with well equipped kitchen and plenty of living space.

Comfortable beds! Homely environment with plenty of local art displayed on the walls.

The hosts have prepared well and our suggestion for a clothes rack (rather than using the tumble dryer) was acted on within a day!

Mobile phone signal was not available in the cottage but that suited me fine. I was on holiday. Hubby managed to set up Wi-Fi calling on his phone.

Highly recommended!

For a party of six (we were five) Ploughman's cottage provides generous accommodation. There is a dining table that seats eight and plenty of cutlery and crockery to match. There was a further dining area in the kitchen. Both kitchen and lounge / diner were a good size and there were comfy chairs / settees for everyone (we've been to places where that is not the case!). It makes a holiday so much more pleasant when you don't feel like you are always tripping over the rest of the party - especially of the weather is not great!

Very good place for visiting the Island.

Fantastic venue for a week away with daughter and friends. Relaxing cottage with more than enough home comforts. We were a group of 4 with plenty of space left for a party of 6 if needed.

We had a great stay with our young family. The cottage was very comfortable and much more spacious than it looks in the pictures, plus it was extremely well equipped. The location was great for getting to lots of our favourite walks and we even had good weather!

We had the most amazing stay at The Ploughman’s Cottage.

Location is perfect and exactly what we wanted - it’s right in between Portree and Dunvegan and near to Waternish so perfect for driving around but has restaurants (Edinbane Inn and Edinbane Lodge) just 5 minutes walk from the cottage on nights we didn’t want to drive or fancied a drink.

The sunsets we seen from the cottage were wonderful and the real fire inside made the rougher, wetter nights just as fantastic.

Everything at the cottage is of a high standard - new washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer all appliances etc - it felt really clean and well looked after. Everything considered to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Cannot fault anything about the cottage or location - would highly recommend!
