This was my second time staying here, so no surprises. It is an excellent property, right in the heart of Emsworth above the Driftwood cafe.

The property is spacious and light, ideal for family with 2 kids (sharing a bedroom). The bathroom and kitchen both new’ish with everything you need.

The welcome foodstuffs is a nice touch, which was very much appreciated (the Isle of Wight cheese particularly).

The cafe downstairs is excellent, and we ended up having breakfast/ lunch there a few times.

The only downside is the parking, as there is no space / permit, so you only have 45 mins between 9 and 6, but free outside those hours. A bit of a pain, but manageable. We ended up parking outside the Lord Raglan pub round the corner, as it had 2 hours free parking

Just perfect!

A lovely spacious flat, had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. Fell in love with Emsworth, the local shops, walks, cafes & restaurants.

This was our first stay at driftwood. It was exceptionally hot weather. The accommodation is good and the location is good too. There were a couple of problems. The first is the lack of parking with the property. We negotiated with the village spice restaurant across the road and paid £15 to park there for the week. The second problem is that there is a Chinese take away next door that stays open until after midnight and their fans expell food odours. The main bedroom is at the back of the property and with it being so hot we needed to open the window and could hear the fans and smell the odours. If it had not been so hot that might not have been a problem.
Emsworth is a lovely place to stay and our hostess could not of been more accommodating. Overall a good holiday.

Well equipped, clean, quite retro stylish. Not cramped, twin bedroom a decent size.
Very handy to be in the centre of Emsworth but not noisy. Only downside was no dedicated parking although there is adequate parking around.

We love the location its right above the Driftwood Cafe. I love just walking downstair for coffee and almond croissant. The location is prefect! You can walk to local markets (Sainsbury and Tesco Metro) and there are plenty of good restaurants near by (rsvp is suggested for most restaurants). The metro train station is 10min walk away and the port is only 5min walk away. We loved the Driftwood property, the decor is really nice, and the multiple levels is very similar to a town house. Our 2yrs and 5yrs old love the place and they love hanging out in the living room area and look out to the big windows. This has become our favorite place to stay in Emsworth.
