A lovely well kept, comfortable and well equipped home. With 5 adults, a teenager and a baby we were very well provided for. We even managed with the one bathroom between us although an en suite would have been lovely. The property is up an outside set of stairs which we managed very well even with a pushchair, I think some people may struggle though so need to be aware of this as it was not clear in the listing. Overall a very good place to stay and not far to travel to the places we needed.
The cottage is the perfect place if you look for a remote place in the english countryside. You may even see deer from the bed rooms which have a unique view into the natural scenery. The living room and kitchen are very spacious and comfortable. Sightseeing spots like Petworth House or Arundel Castle are just a few minutes drive away. Last but not least - the landlady Clare is very friendly and helpful. It was a perfect stay for us!
we enjoyed a very nice holiday in this house, the owner was very kind, the house was clean, large space, comfortable beds, and the area is so relaxing and the people around are very friendly will recommend to
Lovely cottage on the mill pond. Wonderful big kitchen, dining and living area. Great Emsworth location for walks and for shops and restaurants.
Cottage is with everything in it, all very well, with a beautiful garden what can used by the customers, in a very beautiful area.
My stay at this wonderful cosy cottage was almost 3 months. As a photographer and a friend of nature I literally fell in love with this beautiful place surounded by plants, open fields and nice hiking possibilities. The place is clean and friendly my only complaint was the time was too short. The lodge itself is fairly compact but still has a fully kitted kitchen, small dining area (incl. flat screen TV), a decent sized bathroom and 2 bedrooms:. The private rear courtyard is just perfect to have breakfast in the summer. There is also wash room in a small shed across the front carport a...more
Hollies House is idyllic. Never have we stayed in a home with such attention to detail, comfort and high standards in every way. We needn't have taken anything other than clothes as Belinda supplies just about everything you need. Toilitries, beach towels, toys, games, and a splendid personalised hamper when we arrived. Belinda and her lovely team of helpful ladies should be so proud as together they provide the most wonderful holiday experience. So helpful and keen to give you a holiday that they would want to have themselves, which is rare these days. The location is perfect, 2 minutes walk ...more
Nice house, close to the city with restaurants, train and busstation and of course Goodwood ☀️☀️☀️☀️
The cottage provided a peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings.Tasteful decor and all equipment we needed for our stay.Within easy reach of places to visit. Only sorry when we had to leave. Useful hint shower over bath and to get in might not be so easy for less able bodied.
10 of us took up residence for a week in this lovely property overlooking the river. The house was amazing, unbelievable comfy and extremely well equipped. The house flowed and provided room for people to get away from others for a quiet read. The bed linen was lovely and the towels fluffy, something that is not always featured in rented property. It was safe for children, had a lovely garden and electric gates with plenty of room for cars on the drive. The owners of the property were extremely helpful, telephoning to make sure everything was OK. All in all everybody had a great week and...more
We have stayed at the Orchard previously and cant recommend it highly enough. Living room, bed rooms are all very well equipped, as is the huge kitchen. The garden/outside areas are well kept and maintained, with fantastic views to the rear.
What a fabulous apartment! Beautiful appointed & stylish with everything we needed; just perfect for our 2 night break - wish we could have stayed longer! Lucky with the weather, we enjoyed lovely sunsets & sunrises looking out across the marina & managed to dodge the couple of showers we had during our stay! Hired a couple of bikes from nearby Barreg cycles & cycled the Salterns way from the marina to West Wittering. Cycling via picturesque villages & through fields along the way, it was an enjoyable & relatively easy 12 miles. Of course it was 12 miles back too, so lunch at the Boat house ...more
We had a wonderful stay at the old root house. The barn was very comfortable and extremely clean. It is in a great peaceful location. Would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed a super week at number 5 apartment at The Salterns. We know the apartments very well anyway as we keep a boat at Chichester marina and have also stayed at number 1 earlier in the year. The apartments and grounds are beautifully looked after, the apartments are spacious, light and airy, being very tastefully furnished and well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings - and they are absolutely spotless. The views are stunning all round and our elderly parents, when we were not boating or out for the day, thoroughly enjoyed pottering around the marina visiting The Boat House Cafe an...more
There is nothing I would want to criticise about this property. Excellently, comfortably furnished in a quiet neighbourhood with its own parking space immediately outside the front door. The property is fully equipped throughout and would be ideal for a family let. 10 minutes walk from the town centre with many good restaurants and pubs. It is also well situated to visit surrounding towns and attractions. I would be happy to book again if I am holidaying in the area.
Very comfortable stay. Walking distance of the city centre. Everything worked well. Plenty of parking. As it is a ground floor apartment some people might find the fact that if you lift the blinds to let light in, it feels as if you are in a fish bowl. But that is a question of taste. Not as quiet as hoped because of the building work opposite but that will be completed. Wifi connection erratic - some days none at all.
Three generations stayed for a week in this unique cottage. There was something for everyone.Location superb. We shall return.
This apartment is very tastefully decorated and very well equipped with all that you need. Towels and linen excellent quality. Lovely location by the marina and walking around the harbour. Boathouse cafe in the marina good too. I would stay there again.
Still Waters is situated in the small town of Emsworth and is a short walk from the shops, and even shorter to the beachfront. The house is presented in perfect condition. Very clean and tidy. It is spacious and suited our group of six males. We had plenty of beds and lots of bathrooms so everyone has their space. A large kitchen with all the features one could ever need is also a joy to use in this house. The street is quiet and the house is set on a large block so you also enjoy plenty of privacy. For us, this house and our stay rated ten out of ten.
The accommodation provides all the things you need, very close to the beach and only 10mins stroll to the sandy West Wittering beach. It is very close to the shops and restaurants (all dog friendly) but tucked away in a private and quiet area. We took our dog with us and felt very welcome (he even got a doggie holiday pack full of treats). The location is great for exploring: Hayling Island, Bognor Regis, Selsey. Really happy!
Very well-equipped & comfortable cottage. Remote location with lovely walks and wildlife. Helpful & hospitable owners. Lots of interesting places and countryside/ coast to visit nearby. Perfect place to stay and explore the area
When we arrived, Caroline, the owner was there and offered any help we needed. The flat was extremely clean and modern and looked just like the pics on line. Plenty of parking and lots of leaflets to guide us where to visit in the area. Lots of treats in the fridge and cupboards! Everything we needed. One of the best places we've ever stayed.
This is the perfect place to stay in Chichester, quiet but in walking distance of the city,The property has everything you need,a home from home, your car is safely parked off the road,There are pubs and restaurants all in easy walking distance and shops and market, would stay again
Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment is spacious, well equiped offering lovely views of the marina. It's proximity to Chichester and to local walks was convenient.
We had a great holiday with our family in Westhampnett House. We loved this new, very spacious house. It has such a luxurious feel overall. Everything was very well arranged by the owners and Henry Adams. Kitchen basics and some games were available, which is always nice. And even fresh herbs in the garden! We had nice weather during our holiday so we were out much of the day, and visited a lot of things in the neighbourhood (the beach, Weald and downland museum, Chichester Cathedral, Fishbourne ...) but also Beachy Head and Stonehenge, which are only an hour drive away. And after such a...more
We spent 10 very confortable days at Budgenor Lodge, with friends. We found the apartment very clean , had everything we needed
Beautiful countryside with excellent opportunities for longer and shorter hikes. Not too far from the beach (40 km). Pub with good food within 10 min drive, shops further away. Car necessary.
Great place to stay for exploring the Sussex coast. Homely place with all the modern amenities, helpful having the owners close by who were very welcoming without being too intrusive. All in all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any small family who like to get out and about!
The house was bright, clean and in a good location, away from the hustle and bustle but easy 10 minute walking distance to town centre. Everything in the house was to a high specification from furniture to bedding.
We found New Park Studio was comfortable, with all the conveniences ( such as laundry facilities, kitchen equipment, books, CD's and tourist information). Its location is also convenient: it is a short walk to the shops.
Great enjoyable stay at this property. Very well equipped and comfortable, loved the downstairs bedroom with courtyard. and also balcony on 1st floor
Very well equipped property overlooking the pond. Balconies front and back to catch morning and afternoon/evening sun. Watched some beautiful sunsets over the pond.
Our family had a lovely short break at the salterns at the end of May. The apartment was really clean, comfortable and very spacious. Nice big beds, good showers and a nice big bath. The kids loved the green space outside the apartment - plenty of space to run round, play games. Would stay again.
This is an excellent base for exploring Chichester and the surrounding coastline and forests. It was perfect for our family with the added bonus of a brilliant playground a short walk away. The photos do not do the house justice with the beautiful garden and a very high spec of furnishings throughout. Also excellent Value!
The bungalow is tastefully furnished, it lacks bedroom wardrobe and draws in second bedroom which is not good for 2 couples, the cupboard in the hall could be used as a wardrobe very easily with a little thought, it did spoil our visit. The rest of the facilities were very nice. Tv very complicated with 4 handsets to make it usable. Nice situation for walking into Midhurst, and parking off road for the 2 cars was also great.
Was amazing, loved every second of our stay, would recommend to everyone! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We booked this property as a late decision and glad we did. We had seen the properties before when walking around Emsworth and had always wondered what they were like to stay in. Certainly 6 Avocet Quay was a real gem. It comfortably slept the 3 adults (plus it was dog friendly - with the usual restrictions). It was probably the best equipped holiday let we have had. We were able to get a view of the water at an angle but of course is was a 1 minute walk to coast path anyway. At night it was lovely and quiet. The cafe in the marina was 5 minutes away and beyond that a nice stroll round the...more
A lovely bungalow which is very fresh looking and clean inside. All creature comforts provided for. Large rear garden, ideal for relaxing. Plenty of butterflies and birds to watch. All rooms are comfortable and you do not get a feeling of being closed in. A very peaceful location ( school to rear but no noise as summer break ) and neighbours friendly. A great location if exploring is on your agenda with Bognor Regis, Pagham Harbour and Pagham Beach, Selsey Bill, Bosham, West Witterings, Littlehampton, Chichester, South Downs, Arundel and more all not too far away. A lovely and peaceful ho...more
Our stay was due to repairs being done at home and my husband was unable to stay there due to health problems. It was perfect as it was very quiet and close to all amenities. The owners David and Anna are delightful, very friendly and helpful, even the neighbours were nice, not forgetting the daily visit by the cat looking in through the window and the antics of the birds nest building and the starlings putting on a daily show. Everything we needed was available. If we need to leave our home again we will definitely look to stay there first and recommend it to others.
We stayed at the same apartment last year and again this year cannot fault it! Fantastic with everything you need and more! Superb setting with lovely boathouse restaurant a few minutes walk away. Hopefully will return soon. Thank you
Great location - nearby railway station was helpful. Lovely little village. Security deposit refunded quickly.
Leuk huis in een rustige straat netjes ingericht en goed verzorgd . De eigenaar had veel informatie over de regio beschikbaar. Ook de wifi was uitstekend.
104 Orchard provided an excellent location affording an easy walking distance to Chichester Center and the rail station. Although we did not hire a car for what was our second visit to Sussex and Goodwood in particular, the lack of convenient parking may be an issue for some. Overall a clean and comfortable for a weekend or extended stay.
We loved our stay at the Salterns ( 2nd week of June) The location was fantastic and the views from all windows was excellent. It was fantastic weather which of course helped a lot!! The standard of the apartment was very high quality and just wished we could have stayed longer!!
Pleasant cottage in a lovely area. Owner extremely helpful. Good facilities, Recommended for walkers.
Just returned after a lovely week, we even had great weather this year! Old Lock Cottage is an ideal holiday let, both location and facilities wise and we enjoyed a really comfortable and restful stay. We know Chichester Marina well and visit often but didn't know about Birdham Marina right next door, so that was a lovely surprise and we enjoyed exploring the beautiful local area. We usually stay in a beach front location but felt that where we stayed this time offered the best of everything and would highly recommend this property. We especially loved the hidden bathrooms! Thank you, we ha...more
the apartment was in the centre of town, but was quiet ,and safe. there was plenty of room, and apart from the leather sofa being slippery!!! everything else was very comfortable. we would come again.
Lovely quiet location with open views and small private garden, foldaway canvas chairs provided. 10 minute walk across the fields to The Earl of March for great food and atmosphere. House is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Wardrobes and drawers plentiful. 2 parking spaces in front of property. Soundproofing good, you can't hear any noise from neighbouring let (Semi-detached)
A surprisingly spacious first floor flat, up stairs in quiet location just 10 minutes walk from town centre. Pubs, fish & chips, corner shop all nearby. Furnishings, linen etc to good standard. Everything you might need (except no washing machine). Would stay here again.
Really nice flat! The bathroom could be a little bit more user-friendly ;-) (shower can be only half-closed, no shelves or hooks to deposit your stuff near the washbasin). But apart from that everything was really good. Much space, very nice interior decoration, clean and at a perfectly central postion in Chichester.
My ladies were very happy and comfortable, which gave me peace of mind as I'd booked it for them, due to a double booking in my property.
We were a family of 4 staying for 5 nights in August. The accommodation was very comfortable and roomy. The beds were a good size, everything you need in the kitchen (no dishwasher but it did not matter). Good shower and bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you..
Lovely cottage with a stunning garden. Very peaceful. Felt like it was a much loved home as opposed to an anonymous rental. Would happily return.
We haved a problem with hot water at arriving and cleanliness of the house. Laura was very efficient and solved the problem the next day. I think the person in charge of cleaning and control the house before our arrival didn't look properly.
A wonderful place for a group of friends to celebrate a 70th birthday. Having the sea on the door step and a variety of inspiring walks made for a great week. East Wittering had shops for all our needs meaning we could have a week with almost no need to use the car. Bliss. The house had plenty of rooms for us to use different spaces and the garden was gorgeous. One evening we had 10 of us in the garden shelter, enjoying our BBQ. It was special. A week that was much enjoyed and will be long remembered.
Excellent location for those who love the sailing scene. Lovely walks around the area. Buy a weekly parking ticket for the nearby car park. All the pubs in the area serve good food but the views from the house make it just as nice to eat in and watch the tide rise and fall just outside your windows.
Nice roomy house for 6 people. Good size bedrooms, lovely size garden - just be careful playing football that the ball does not go in the stream. Chairs in the lounge were a big hit! Small minus point is the shower - need to make sure there is no water and pressure loss out of the tube under the console. Good wi-fi.
Spent a fabulous weeks holiday at Kalami. Accommodation very clean and comfortable and everything we needed was there. Location was excellent - walking distance from the beach, local shops and restaurants. Great walks along the beach - would definitely book here again.
We had the best time staying at the cottage. The only thing i will change are the cleaning of the carpet and the sleep covers of the sofas, wich have seen a better life.
Toll House is an extraordinary house. It´s old but very charming. It´s located in an area with many cottages, therefore the neighbourhood is very quiet. Everything we need was in the house - thank you for that. A few things could be better - the shower in the small bathroom needs a general cleaning and the quench head from the bathtube should be descaled, because there came so little water out of it, that it was not really possible to take a shower. And please change the mattresses in the double beds, they are very uncomfortable.
A gorgeous cottage with a lovely character where old is mixed with new. Very family friendly and child proof. Well equipped with everything you need. It had a shop only two minutes walk and the beach only five minutes drive away. The only downside I can think of is that there was only one bathroom/toilet. I highly recommend Spence Cottage to familys as well as two couples. Me and my husband stayed for a week with our son, his girlfriend and their 1 1/2 year old son.
The accommodation was very large, nice arranged and very quite located. But the cleaning company did a very poor job. After complaining dirt (traces of former users) and spider nets (inside and outside) the company came again - unfortunately with the same result.
We shall come again, but cutlery and glassware were not clean, and the next couple arrived a day early.
We've just spent a wonderful week in this property, we were 3 couples and 1 single. There wasn't a 2nd set of keys for us to use as indicated in the house details and I have to admit we struggled with the key safe, height, getting the keys to stay in the safe and to close it then, plus the prickly shrubbery next to it. One of the sofa chairs was a bit lumpy and lobsided ,( the one immediately in the lounge) . Lack of wardrobes in 2 of the bedrooms meant We had 5 people using the the main bedroom wardrobe. Also lack of any mirror close to a socket for doing hair in every room. The property w...more
It was a lovely, very comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be back some time.
Cosy apartment with a great location . Yards from the beach and just a few more steps in the opposite direction to busy Church Road . There is such a choice of restaurants. You will never starve in Hove !
Beacon square was a perfect location for our vacation rental. We traveled to England from the U.S. to visit my husbands grandparents and with two young kids needed our own space. The house was clean and well stocked. Kids dishes and cups were a nice surprise. The house is well maintained and the garden is gorgeous. If it didn't rain, we would have really enjoyed it, The house is a short distance to town and I enjoyed the walk every morning. We would stay here again. My own suggestion would be to add a hair dryer. Coming from the U.S., I learned before my hairdryer does not work with ...more
The best thing about this house is it's excellent location, close enough to the beach you can taste the salt in the air. Big + for fast internet connection and lots of home equipment like washing machine, dishwasher and much more.
The location is FIVE STAR and Pagham a delightful spot. It is not really a cottage, but a much loved 'family gathering' second home, I would guess. We had a wonderful week together...son and grandchildren. I would like to stay again...so that says it all really. Thank you very much.
We thought the apartment was absolutely delightful and very clean and comfortable. However the peaceful tranquillity was spoilt for the last two days of our stay by some very noisy and inconsiderate people staying either side of us .They were talking very loudly on the terrace until late and slamming doors which disturbed our sleep. So although very nice, one is at the mercy of whoever is staying in the apartments at the same time. This needs to be addressed .
We stayed at Park View for a family wedding, the open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area is excellent and a really good space, all the bedrooms are nice and big & effectively all en suite and the garden is lovely and large so our dog had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs, our only suggestions would be that some of it is slightly tired (e.g. Floor in the conservatory) the bedding and towels could be better quality (& larger towels) and having a smoke alarm virtually above the cooker means it goes off every 5 minutes! (To be fair this could be a regulation requirement, but it was...more
We rented The Barn for seven nights as a venue to host a family gathering for our daughter's wedding. It was a very suitable location for such an event being spacious and well laid out. It was clean, generally well supplied with necessary equipment, crockery etc., bedding was comfortable and overall we were pretty happy with our experience. However, there were some problems that need to be addressed with some urgency; 1. The walk-in shower on the ground floor delivered scalding water and represented a serious risk to children/infants and was in fact quite a problem even for an adult t...more
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Himalaya. The picturesque village of East Lavant is a great location. It is so well placed to explore Chichester and the South Downs. The cottage is comfortable and adequately equipped. We would certainly stay there again.
Great holiday in a perfect location. Abundant selection of books. Lovely neighbours. Attention to detail much appreciated. Didn't want to come home. Only negative uncomfortable lounge chairs.
Cozy, convenient slef contained cottage located in close proximity to the town centre of Chichester, just in 10 minutes walk you will reach the town centre. Water pressure and hot water supply was especially good. Comfortable bed rooms. Beddings and towels were clean and tidy. Large freezer and fridge which provided good food storage during my stay. I enjoyed a very pleasant week with my family in the cottage during my son's half term break and will put this cottage in top priority for future visit to Chichester.
Beautiful house with lovely garden. 3 double beds and 4 single beds so great for a big group like we were. And house has got everything you need. Only the double bed in the garden house was quite uncomfortable and only suitable for 1 person, not a couple. But the other beds in the main house were great. In terms of the location please note that the map on the ad is very misleading, it shows the house being in Eartham and we thought we could walk to the local pub in 5 mins. It is actually 5 mins drive/40 mins walk north of Eartham! so don't expect to be able to walk anywhere. Also we found it o...more
Overall the house was ok, clean and great location. Personally i think a little work could be done with regards to the holiday letting side, no welcome manual, so no instruction on how to use the shower, heating, etc. and details on where is good in the local area, for dining and sight seeing. We were staying for nearly 2 month as relocating to the area, so for this length of stay, further items were needed, the hoover is hard to use, no mop provided for cleaning the wood effect floors. Only 1 door key. parking can be a little tricky in the cul de sac, no selected parking bay.
Although we loved the location of West Mount Cottage and the welcome pack was very thoughtful, the 2 most crucial items in this property were sadly lacking. The beds were extremely uncomfortable (my husband suffers with a bad back and was in agony by the middle of our stay), and no relief could be found on the sofas as they also lacked any support whatsoever. No dishcloth (I bought one), mop and bucket, broom, vacuum or toilet brush were provided so any cleaning was almost impossible. I would suggest the beds and sofas be replaced to ensure a comfortable stay for future guests and more facili...more
At the allotted time of 15:00 my wife and I entered the property and found things to be in a very poor state. The curtains in the three main rooms were closed and the whole property was in relative darkness and far from welcoming. In the bedrooms the beds were unmade and untidy. In the kitchen there were food scraps on the table and the lavatory needed flushing. The agents were made aware of the problems and we waited for people to come and clean the property. A further wait was necessary for different people to bring the bed linen. At 17:30 the property was finally clear for us to bring ou...more
Firstly, the Poplars Farmhouse complex is an idyllic location for a large group of people to come together. The gardens are both beautiful and enjoyable. The accommodation is on the face of it ample and from the write up on line it looked just what we wanted. However, there are certain aspects that need to be addressed and this is the subject of my review. The farmhouse itself was good but the annex area was not unlike a third rate youth hostel. When we arrived and family were sorting out where they were going to sleep, there were certain things that stood out: The general clean...more
Excellent location - it has its own parking and is within a 10 minute walk from West Wittering beach; a wonderful unspoilt sandy beach. Nicely decorated and in good condition - neutral décor and wooden flooring. We thought the property was perhaps a little smaller than we expected from the pictures. It probably lends itself better as a location to stay for a couple, or during the summer. The kitchen was equipped with decent quality items such as the toaster, kettle and blender and the vacuum cleaner ensured we could clean up any sand bought back from the beach(!). It was also helpful to...more
stay was brillant at property the only down side is weve havent heard back from henry adam about the deposite
We stayed at this apartment for just over a week. The apartment looks just like it does in the photos. It is modern, on the ground floor & has no grass garden, just a small gravel area at the back. The cleanliness of the apartment was only just acceptable. Bathroom mirror wasn't properly cleaned, the 2 bedroom carpets should be professionally cleaned or replaced, I did try to hoover them but the 2 hoovers in the apartment where not great. The kitchen/living area needed a good hoover too. The kitchen sink hadn't been properly bleached. Now I will admit that that I am fussy and some of these thi...more
Originally booked the property for a party of 5 adults and 2 small dogs but due to health issues only myself, my wife and our small dog stayed so we had all the bedrooms to choose from. Furnishings were more than adequate and very comfortable, especially the large double bed in the main bedroom, undoubtably the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on. We've stayed in similar properties all over the UK but have never stayed anywhere that's been so comprehensively equipped. This is a huge credit to the owners Helen & Dave as there wasn't a single thing we could have wanted that wasn't th...more
A very comfortable and enjoyable vacation spot, with a fantastic location and splendid views. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and in great shape. However, the cottage is lacking a few items that would have been expected, - no hand towels, no face cloths, no place mats, no coasters on which to stand a drink, poor lighting over the kitchen stove, and no change of linens for our second week there. Only one garbage bag was supplied, even for our two week stay, yet we really did not want to buy a whole box, just for one spare. While we enjoyed our stay, and would be pleased to visit again,...more
Really enjoyed our stay here. Very peaceful location directly on the coast path. Sailing, walking, kayaking and swimming all possible from the front door. Feels remote yet walking distance from Emsworth. Balcony and sunsets were lovely.
Our stay was for 2 weeks. The house itself is beautiful, nicely renovated with a sun trap back garden. Parking outside for one car very comfortably, 2 is tight. The living room/ dining room is a good space with a large tv. The kitchen is small but has good appliances. It could use a washer/dryer for the laundry rather than just a washing machine. We got lucky with the weather so the clothes lines worked for us. There were plenty of plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and utensils. The main bedroom is lovely, the second is snug with the 2 beds and has very little draw space. The big negative for ...more
The house was very beautiful. Everything was correct like in the description. All in all a perfect location to have a stay with two persons. The host was really friendly and helpful. If there are any questions you can ask her and she'll help you. At arrival there was already tea and sugar in the kitchen and Lillian offered us to bring us some milk. There are three supermarkets in the city and you can reach everyone by foot. The little terrace is beautiful and If you have nice weather you can sit outside, relax and enjoy the lovely garden. Our 3rd visit. The kitchen is now lacking in some areas - the oven and knives in particular. WiFi is poor. Otherwise, we had a good stay.
The cottage is excellently located just a couple of minutes walk from the seafront and the excellent Lobster Pot cafe. Our children (12&9) were very safe on their bikes to cycle through the park across the road to the promenade. The accommodation is cozy but was a little musty especially in the kitchen area. The kitchen was well appointed and equipped for holiday style cooking. It would have been helpful to have somewhere inside to dry clothes etc as the weather was quite wet during our stay. Our girls loved their bedroom and found the bunk beds comfortable. The bathroom is through the main...more
Located close to Chichester, but somewhat difficult to find. You are pretty much in your own when you arrive, with little to no introduction to the property.
The location so close to the coast was brilliant for us - no parking worries or costs and lunches freshly made and brought to the 'beach'. Whilst there is no soft sand, the sea and wet sand make for perfect games (although not sandcastles as my 2 granddaughters pointed out). The cottage is not quite equipped for 6 but not so we didn't thoroughly enjoy our stay.
The bed was uncorfortable and the apparment is good but no like the pictures that show in the web site.
