Working locally for a month and rather than a hotel wanted somewhere I could cook and do washing myself. This was idea location, price and access. All amenities necessary. Comfy bed and pillows. Well provided kitchen (hob/oven/microwave/fridge/freezer/washing machine/dryer). Lots of parking space.
Rubens Barn is a little rural gem. All of the creature comforts, extremely generous food provisions and a wonderful owner who greeted us on arrival and departure. Accessible to Chichester, Midhurst and Petworth. Highly recommended.
The Red oak is a beautiful place to stay, the lodge has all what you need, it is a clean and silent retreat. The view on the green makes it even more relaxing, we saw a squirrel, many robins and other birds. A lovely place. As welcome we received a tasty wine and cookies and an invitation to a free yoga session. I took part to it in the next green door center and it was a positive experience among friends. It is next to bus stop and train station. There are a lot of wonderful walks from the lodge. We had a great time here.
We really enjoyed our stay at Little Maplewood. It is a comfortable, clean property with everything you need for a relaxing break. Even though it is in the garden of another house, it doesn't feel intrusive and has its own gate and entrance. The only thing I disliked was the rattan mat the bed was on as it was uncomfortable for bare feet but apart from that we loved it, especially the wet room which has the most fantastic shower! It's like being under a waterfall and felt very indulgent!
Very clean and tidy and fully equipped with everthing you need for a short stay. Janet was a very good host and even though she lives next door, she left us completely alone apart from answering the odd question. We were very happy with everything during the time we were there. In my opinion, this is excellent value for money and great if you're walking/cycling the South Downs Way. South Harting has a good pub and nearby Petersfield covers almost everything else. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is in a quiet hamlet with little passing traffic and nice views. Two of the neighbour's peacocks came to visit us on the first morning. The beach at East Wittering is nearby where there is also a new well-stocked COOP for food shopping and a cas machine. Itchenor with its coastal walks and inexpensive parking has excellent sea views and is only a short trip in the car. My family (four adults and two small children) enjoyed a wonderful getaway at Whyke cottage. The owner, Belinda, was very communicative and helpful when problems or questions arose. She also supplied a hair dryer very quickly after we discovered there was none at the cottage and gave us a list of local recommendations, which proved very helpful. As a winter location, we still had a fabulous time! The house is so comfortable and spacious. We were a party of 16, I wasn’t sure where our single person was going to sleep, but there were enough sofas for him to make himself comfortable. We had lovely walks to the beach, we even swam in the sea. Lou couldn’t have been more helpful. We are hoping that we might revisit in the summer because we think it would be absolutely incredible with plenty of garden. Space for fun and barbecues. we made good use of the table tennis table in the living room! I would strongly recommend this place.
This was such a great place to stay. The owners have made it a very welcoming home, and their attention to detail means you have all the little things that you need - from local information to spare toilet rolls, a clothes horse and even a picnic basket! I also appreciated the welcome wine and chocolate Central Chichester is not an easy area to find a long-term park, so having an arrangement with a local car park means there’s a free place to leave your car every day that’s only five minutes away from the house. We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting family who live in the area. The cottage was lovely - beautifully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was very clean. The location was perfect for us and the area was very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and all agreed that we would book to stay here again in the future. The only things we can suggest which would improve the property would be blackout blinds/curtains in the bedrooms, as the current curtains and blinds let in a lot of light as the sun rises in a morning. Little Crossways is a wonderful place to stay! It is beautifully decorated, super clean and has everything you possibly need for a nice stay. The gardens are stunning too!
We stayed for all of August, It was a home from home. We would stay again. Comfy beds, comfy lounge and patio. It was a five min walk to village for supplies and has a Baker, veg man and butcher. Awesome find, excellent location, parking for 2/3 cars, everything you need within the property, very comfortable. Downstairs toilet which was great, saves running up and down stairs. Plenty of room for guests, there was only two of us, but would easily accommodate 4/5 people. On arrival there was an information folder with everything you needed to know, easy to navigate. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short holiday at the Palm Tree Annexe n Fishbourne. It is well located for our interests including walking and visiting Chichester. The hosts were helpful and the location is provided with plenty of literature about the local area etc.
What a find. The cottage although a little quirky was spotless and very comfortable. The real gem was the outside area overlooking the river and old mill. Anthony the host was very friendly and instantly made us feel at home. The log fire was another bonus which we were encouraged to use. Will definitely stop here again.
The cottage is tastefully designed and provides everything needed for a week away from home. The owner had even put flowers from her own beautiful garden in each room. The cottage is charming and only a mile from the centre of Chichester. My only difficulty was trying to work a modern electric hob as I don't have one at home. I did look online and sort of managed to get by. I'm sure I will be back.

Despite being a wet week in Worthing we had a great stay at Sea Shell Cottage. Even before we got there Charlotte at Henry Adams was very helpful allaying my fears about parking and getting a ticket by explaining the park zones and sending me a map. Definitely one of the cleanest and well stocked cottages we have stayed in. If you want to be close to the sea front, restaurants, cafes and Pubs this the one for you.
This is a beautiful and comfortable holiday flat in an amazing location..The balcony is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. An ever changing scene.. Everything is so fresh and new. Most definitely want to return for a longer stay.soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed a lovely stay at Steddles. The location is brilliant, we walked into Chichester and so had no worries re parking. Also ideally placed for a short drive to the coast and beautiful walks. The house is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Kitchen and dining area meant folk could cook, eat, drink, chat and still be part of it all. Very comfortable beds with high quality linen and towels. Customer service was first class - a great experience all round!

Lovely cottage, which has everything you could need. It has a really nice atmosphere when you come through the front door. It is spacious, light and has a comfortable sitting room and separate dining area. The cottage is in a very peaceful location – we were struck how quiet it was – and it has a lovely back garden. There is plenty of space for parking and it is only moments from the beach (about a five-minute walk). It's about a ten-minute walk by the sea to East Wittering and the nice fish hut! An incredible getaway! Our group of 12 friends had an amazing weekend at this property. The house was impeccably clean with excellent living spaces and six generously sized rooms, ideal for large groups. The owner's communication was fantastic, accommodating our needs with a late Sunday check-out. The secluded location away from the main road provided a peaceful ambiance, and the short walk to the beach, via the Lamb pub, was a bonus. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a perfect escape with friends and family for a weekend retreat

The location is fantastic as you can walk everywhere and leave your car on the drive. Considering it’s just off the main road through Midhurst it’s surprisingly very quiet. Couple of things went wrong while we were there but the team at Henry Adams were straight on it and everything was sorted very quickly.
Thank you for a lovely stay at The Dairy, clean comfortable and spacious. The welcome pack was amazing and included local cheese, butter and bread. Lots to do in the area and very close for Chichester. Some good farm shops nearby.

This was our second stay at Baytree Cottage and were pleased to find it still maintained the same high standard. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Walberton an ideal location for visiting Arundel, Chichester, Littlehampton and many more interesting places including Amberley museum.
This was our second time at 4 Avocet Quay and we enjoyed it almost as much as the first. The Weather let us down plus I was recuperating. But we love the quirkiness of this property and it's location. I think my son has outgrown the bunkbeds now but it truly is a great house

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Esta, and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is compact with its upside down design, i.e. the bedroom downstairs and the kitchen upstairs. The place is spotless and very well-equipped with utensils, beautiful towels, and luxurious bed linen. A lovely surprise to receive wine plus a welcome pack. The view from the house is amazing. Everything is 100%, a special thanks to Marie.

I couldn’t fault my stay. Debbie was very welcoming and helpful with anything I needed. The annexe was comfortable and spacious and just what I needed for a quiet week away. Wifi was superb and the kitchen was extremely well equipped ! It was especially nice that it was dog friendly, within a very short walk of the lovely beach. Shops within minutes if you need to stock up but at the same time down a quiet cul de sac . A little courtyard at the back with a table and chairs and parking to the front on the driveway .
We stayed here for a week in the Easter-holiday and had a wonderfull time. Quite practical to have a nice pub just across the road, especially on the day you arrive, no worries about super and a nic pint of beer. Lovely and cosy cottage, very well equiped, and a good location for visiting Portsmouth, Chichester, Stonehenge... We even went to London for a day, taking the train in Havant. Very nice and helpfull owners, there when you need them, allways ready to help nd give usefull tips.
Innisfree is a very nice house with plenty of room for a family gathering. Everything you need including comfy beds. Some of the dining chairs were a bit rickety so needed care and the washing machine was broken and didn't get attended to while we were there. The garden was perfect for our dog but the grass was very long which made it difficult clearing up after him. The bbq was very dirty so we abandoned that idea as was the extra fridge in the garage which would have been useful as the fridge in the house is only an under counter size. The living room was a good size compared to the kitchenette which was basic and behind 3 sliding doors. The small round sink was not big enough to take the dinner plates. The toilet shower room leading off of the bedroom was a reasonable size, however the multiple led down-lights were operated by a PIR. Ok for normal use, but in the middle of the night !!! a dimmer setting would be helpful. There was plenty of wardrobe space, however no full length hanging space for my wife's dresses. Good basic accommodation, in easy reach of Goodwood Racing Circuit.
#2 St Faith’s cottage was ideally placed with surrounding history, breathtaking views of Chichester Cathedral, close access to good restaurants, shopping, the theatre and very accommodating staff, with a sense of humour, in the cathedral office. It’s a shame that the local Henry Adams office in Chichester is replaced by the Emsworth office making personal representation,questions that much more difficult. Despite this, another venture to #2 St Faith’s is on the cards as first class accommodation.
The house has been very sensitively converted from an old farm building, with nice exposed beams giving it a classic look. The interior is well-laid out, and very comfortable. The wood-burning stove was very welcome in the winter, when we were there. The owners were friendly, responsive and very helpful. The location, just outside Chichester, is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the countryside with easy access to shops. I would stay here again.

Great location, A27, station, Hayling Island. Spacious and well appointed, great beds, settee a little too low for some. Like many rental properties it has its foibles that a bit of tlc would quickly resolve. Really enjoyed our week and would readily return, dispite the really poor weather that we had. As our party was 2 couples a second set of keys would be useful and avoid the trips to the key lock box.
Seagull cottage is a wonderful place to spend a week or two. There is plenty of space, a lovingly decorated sitting room and upstairs bedrooms with comfy beds. The surroundings are just magnificent. A 10-minute walk to the beach, an endless choice of sightseeing in the area, from Chichester to Arundel. Couldn't be better.
Everything was satisfactory, however I suggest that information on how to use the front door key to open and close is explained beforehand. Not everyone is used to this system. Took us a long time to figure it out. Left a message on the emergency number but no one got back to us.

Beautiful countryside with excellent opportunities for longer and shorter hikes. Not too far from the beach (40 km). Pub with good food within 10 min drive, shops further away. Car necessary.
We found this apartment clean, comfortable and warm during a spell of wet weather. The kitchen, in particular, was very well equipped. It was conveniently located for the shops in Havant and the gated parking was an added bonus. Communications with the owner were excellent.

This is the second time we have stayed at Tabernacle Cottage and will hopefully visit again. It is ideally situated in beautiful Chichester Harbour with easy walks from the doorstep and a convenient location for beaches and access to Chichester. The cottage is spotlessly clean,well equipped and comfortable.
Our family have been visiting Selsey since long before I was born, I am now visiting with my children, in there 20's, so have stayed in many properties. This was definitely up there with the best, perfect for 3 adults ( or a small family), in a perfect spot, yards from the sea and lifeboat and 10 mins walk to the High Street. The cottage had most things we needed( a couple of things missings we advised owners of) but generally good facilities and equipment we needed. We had a great time at the coach house flat, our second visit. The flat was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location is excellent; a pleasant 25 minute walk into the centre of Chichester. Despite not having a designated parking space there is plenty of parking nearby. We would definitely stay again in the future.
Stayed here for a week of Christmas. The cottage was well equipped and extremely cosy. The owner was very welcoming and pointed out all the essentials upon our arrival. The log burner was a real treat and plenty of logs were provided. Great value for money and good location.

Comfortable, warm and cosy with all the amenities that you require. Fast broadband, humongous tv for the technophiles, spare in the main bedroom. All good. It's so dark at night, you can sit out at night and sky watch, listen to the bird sounds, who needs a tv. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage at Hale Hill Farm. It is very spacious and was clean and well equipped. The owners, Clare & Nick, who live in the neighbouring farm were very welcoming without impinging on our privacy and ensured that we had everything that we needed. The cottage is situated in a peaceful spot overlooking water meadows. There are footpaths leading directly from the cottage onto the ridge of the South Downs, from which there is a large selection of possible walks. There is a wide variety of other attractions within a short drive.
Thank you so much it was the perfect little get away from London that we needed. Such a brilliant location and so much for our kids to do. From beach walls, country walks in the South Downs, the castle in Arundel, beach fun right on the doorstep an arcade at the bottom of the road and lots of good pubs made for a fun half term. Great location within walking distance of City, Theatre, Roman Walls and parks. Spacious accommodation and well equipped.
2 Walled Garden was spacious enough and close enough to the beach. Unfortunately the lounge/dining area could do with modernisation. It felt dark, old and carpets were stained. The shower was over the bath was a not very powerful and tricky to wash long hair. The kitchen was bright but the cutlery and crockery was filthy dirty and had to be washed before using. The only dinner plates do not fit into the dishwasher and had to be washed by hand. It was dusty and dirty under all the beds upstairs and the bed linen was old and outdated. Old Lock Cottage is in a stunning location next to the lock which leads over to the Marina. We were a party of 4 and 2 of us were celebrating our birthday! The cottage has good accommodation sleeping 6 people - but as we were 2 couples it would have been better if the 2nd bedroom upstairs had a double bed - the bedroom downstairs with the double bed is quite small. We all felt very comfortable there - it was just a shame that there is no welcome pack - I.E. basic provisions - and took a while to find the information pack - we never did work out how to operate the TV! Bellflower Cottage was perfect for a NYE weekend getaway - very warm (we had to turn the heating down!), clean, well equipped (although we had to ask for loo roll and dishwasher tabs), beautifully decorated and so peaceful. The quintessential English country cottage! Gorgeous walks from the door and lovely outside space (which only the dog took advantage of as the weather was so wet!) We did struggle with the beams with 3 out of 6 of us banging our heads, but we knew from the description that they were there before we booked. So our bad! A lovely, lovely stay. Thank you!
This is my 2nd time here and it’s just a brilliant little flat, amazing view to the quieter and more local beaches of Bognor rather than busy and touristy. The noise levels are totally fine, the flat itself looks great, nice furniture and comfy beds. The walls need some new paint but overall it’s ok. In this instance the cleaning was below par and more of a quick “can’t be bothered” AirBnb clean, shame because they charge enough to expect it clean. Carpets def need a deep clean too. We will without question return. The Stables is a beautifully thought out and well appointed cottage. It’s is exceptionally comfortable, from the crisp linens to the plentiful cosy towels. There is plenty outside space, and our hosts made us very welcome, encouraging us to take advantage of their wonderful farm. The cottage is ideally placed for the beaches and surrounding places of interest. It’s so nice to stay somewhere with great appliances and lovely crockery- the hosts have made this a lovely home from home and we have already recommended to friends.
Flint Cottage is peaceful yet so close to exploring Hampshire and West Sussex and a comfortable base to return to. The staff at Henry Adams are lovely and helpful
We stayed over Easter weekend as we have friends who own a property on the same road. The property was perfect for our needs, bedtime and breakfast. We spent the rest of the day out and about. Seemed to have recently been painted and we had brand new towels. Stairs are a little dangerous for little ones but that isn't a fault it's just because it's a cosy cottage. We would stay there again if we couldn't find somewhere a little larger. We were 2 adults and 2 under 5s.
The accommodation was excellent, high quality fittings and very comfortable, heating, easy to control, kitchen well equipped. Good dining area in heated conservatory. Easy access to the city using Uber. Would not hesitate in using this accommodation again.
The biggest draw of this property is the location - you are about 3 minutes from the beach which is shingle at high tide. Once the tide has turned about an hour you have a vast sand beach which is a very safe place to swim and enjoy water sports. You could take the 30 minute walk along the beach to West Wittering which is a sandy beach with a café and showers. This was our second stay at Lifeboat View with three generations of our family, ranging in age from 13-86 years. The house is in a great location with easy access to the town of Selsey, the beach, some local shops and a good pub. With the eldest of our group having reduced mobility the ground floor bedrooms and bathroom and stair lift to the middle floor was a great help. Arriving at our chosen location in Selsey we were confronted with a traveller's encampment across the road to the property, on contacting Charlotte at Henry Adams Holidays on their emergency mobile number, she sprang into action to find us alternative accommodation, we selected Kalami at Bracklesham Bay, was a great choice - thanks Charlotte. Birch End was perfect for my husband, pets and me for a six week stay while we waited for our house purchase to complete. The owner was very helpful and friendly as was the neighbour who keeps an eye on things for her. We already knew Midhurst well, it is a lovely town in the beautiful South Downs with lovely walks, pubs and restaurants. Came back to Still Waters for the second time this year, Always great to spend some time in this lovely area.
The only reason I have put 3 for comfort is the fact we were a family of 5 staying but there were only 4 table chairs, 4 bar stools and seating in the lounge for 4. An added comfortable chair at least in the lounge area would have been ideal. However, for a family of 4 it is perfect. The garden was very secure for our little dogs.
Just had the most wonderful stay at Blacksmiths Cottage. The house was immaculately clean, very well maintained, spacious (enough for two families), warm and cosy and the beds and sofas were super comfy. The kitchen had everything needed for a pleasant stay, we literally didn’t need anything! It was nice to see the housekeeper also left her number on the blackboard should we need her! The perfect Christmas getaway, felt just like the cottage out of the holiday but bigger! Beautiful surrounding landscapes and lots of space for 12 guests. It was a little too cold for us to use the pool however would definitely revisit in the summer as it looked amazing! The outside annex was done to a really high modern country style which was beautiful, although the rest of the house is was nice it was a little dated. The house was clean and comfortable and we would all definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a countryside getaway.

Was a great spot within easy distance of Midhurst. Only complaint is the difficulty in turning right on Petersfield Rd but turned left and went down June Lane. The cost of the place was high but the value was there.
Overall comfort and location was fine however beds were not comfortable and one had stains on sheet, there were 2 pots in the kitchen that were unusable due to having rust and mould and some cutlery were dirty meaning the whole lot had to be cleaned before use. Owner (next door) had dog which barked late at night and early (before 7.00am) morning, not ideal if on a resting relaxing break.

We had a lovely Christmas week in Spindrift. We had seen that this cottage had mixed reviews, but we had a great time and were not disappointed. Thank you to Chris and Sam for setting up a Christmas tree and lights, which made us feel very welcome. Blue Haze is in a great location a few steps from the coast and in a quiet and historic setting - the mature trees on the estate are just astounding. The gardens, drive and house provide plenty of space for grown ups, younger folk and dogs - a great spot for a week or more of sea air and country expeditions.
A quiet and perfect cottage where dogs are allowed. And some good pubs with good food very nearby. We would love to come back here in the future.
The house location is great, on the beach, parking, etc… The beds are too springy and would do great if they can be replaced with good firm beds to get a good nights sleep. The house is catered for 8 people but the dining room / eating table only fits a maximum of 6 chairs with a mixture of different chairs (some very uncomfortable). The hoover doesn’t work properly, we complained about it last year but nothing has changed, a good old Henry hoover would do the trick! No brush and shovel after you sweep up!? Overall ok.
We enjoyed being so closed to East Wittering beach and the village centre. The house was well kitted out with everything we needed and the kids loved the trampoline! The weather was very warm during our stay so a couple of fans would have made it more comfortable but we managed without. It was a shame the cleaner didn’t come prior to our arrival. The lady who came was very sweet and did her cleaning around us getting tired small children to bed. The house probably needs more than a 2 hour clean to be really set up for next guests though. We stayed for 2 months as we are having building work done and the flat was just right for us. The flat is very comfortable and well equipped. The location is great and although it is on-street parking, you can usually find a space for a few hours and it's not restricted after 6pm or on Sundays. The flat is a little tired in places and we had some damp - but it has been a horribly wet Jan/Feb so quite understandable. I will be recommending the flat to friends/family.
We travel from the US to visit family a few times a year, and are so happy there is finally a property in the village! The bedrooms and all linens were excellent, heating excellent, water pressure in the shower lovely. It was even decorated for Christmas. We didn't need the tiny kitchen except to enjoy the coffee and tea provided, thanks much. And we didn't use the patio mid-December, but it seemed quite nice! We’re a family of 4 and a dog, & we all had a great time. The house was clean, practical, & the open plan kitchen/family room was amazing. We all enjoyed the hot tub on a few occasions, & a great sized back garden that our dog loved. The house is a 15 minute walk to WW beach, the perfect location to explore the local area. We’ll definitely be back:-)

The property itself was lovely: decorated to a high standard with very interesting and quirky furnishings. However, the mattress is probably towards the end of its life and not very comfortable. In addition, the location was a little disappointing being wedged between a main road and train line .... in winter it was fine with the windows closed but not quite the peaceful, relaxing and comfortable retreat for which we were hoping.
The space was clean enough, convenient and private. There was lots of space for our family of 5. Overall the property was good it just needs some tlc. The kitchen floor boards look like some water damage has occurred in the past, the toilet seat is cracked and taped back together. These things didn’t cause us issues, the unit just needs a bit of maintenance and a good deep clean. Access to the unit upon arrival was easy. Would definitely stay again if we went back.
Great little property in a nice location. Only issue is parking is a real problem in area and would not recommend bringing a car.
Our stay was comfortable and the cottage was clean and conveniently located but sheets and towels needed to be changed once in a week for longer stays. Help with door lock was appreciated.
We booked a "dog friendly" rental for a week. The location more or less on Selsey Bill was lovely. The house however was not cleaned properly and despite Henry Adams being contacted, and promising to send a cleaner when we arrived on a Friday tea time, there was still no sign of a cleaner a week later when we left. The rear garden was nicely set out, with a patioed area and seating, plus BBQ. Mostly grassed which was useful for the dogs but it hadnt recently been cut and this made picking up their excrement more difficult than if it had been cut prior to our stay. At Beacon Square we had a pleasant stay, with comfortable sofas and beds. Kitchen is well equipped, with washing machine and tumbler. Beds really comfay. Situated in a quiet area, but everything within short walking distance.
Birch Tree is very comfortable and ideally situated in a quiet residential area, yet close to the coast, the A27, and all amenities. The three bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. The ground floor office is excellent if you have to work while visiting. Having two bathrooms, one on each floor, is also very convenient. The washing machine and tumble drier in the downstairs bathroom are great additions. Found the Property Easy enough. Parking outside the garage was perfect. Just be aware of reversing onto the road. Getting into to the property with the key codes was perfectly OK. Ans easy to achieve. Everything you possibly need is either in the garage or on the cottage!! Which we've never had before when renting a property for a week. Very thoughtful. Dolphin Cottage is in a very quiet and pretty lane, quite close to the beach, and some shops and pubs. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very clean, well equipped kitchen and the two wood burning stoves are lovely to have in the winter months. We brought our bikes and enjoyed cycling around the island. The nature reserves are particularly interesting and beautiful. When we arrived at Dolphin Cottage it was very cold. A lovely little spot to stay in Midhurst. Nice and convenient. With a couple of touches it would take it from good to great. I'd definitely recommend to others.
Pros: Beautiful gardens, nice outside furniture, useful if weather is good. Great parking area. Bedrooms modest size, but each has quirky individually furnished style with repurposed period furniture. Bedding used is quality 100% linen with comfortable pillows and matches decor. Scatter cushion overload though. 3 out of 4 beds comfortable, but seem smaller than traditional King size. Kitchen appliances spotlessly clean, as was whole rental. Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again.
Church Cottage is a comfortable mid terrace house. It was ideal for 3 adults and a small elderly dog. The patio garden is enclosed so secure for the dog and a suntrap later in the day. The house is tastefully furnished and quite spacious. Considering it is a self catering holiday let, the kitchen could be better equipped with some new baking trays and a saucepans with lids that match. Candy Corner is well appointed, comfortable and a great accommodation for four people. It sleeps six, with two beds in a separate building, but occupants would need to walk outside to enter the main house to use the bathroom and toilet. Kitchen was well equipped. Lounge was spacious with comfortable chairs, settee and dining table. TV had Freeview channels and was easy to use. Bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and there was good storage space in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. The front garden and off street parking was spacious. Lovely place right on the beach great for large families short walk to arcades cafe and shops and take aways. Utility room with washing machine every kitchen item you would need. The downfall was only 8 large plates and few glasses were chipped. Would have been nice if cleaner had gone in before us and cleaned up the little shrimp like things in the sun lounge area but a quick hoover did the job. Overall great place would go back
Merriesands is ideally situated for a beach holiday with a nice little garden. But, needs hot, sunny weather. The accommodation is basic. Having to go to trial was a long and stressful process but I wanted to wait until I had received an authoritative court judgement before submitting a review. We had a lovely weekend with family at Beach View in February 2024. The house is spacious and a great location overlooking the beach with plenty of space for all the family to enjoy. I would say only two toilets in a house with ten guests is not enough. No en suites in any rooms either. Unfortunately on our arrival the downstairs bedroom was not set up as two singles as I had requested, but as one king, which meant that one of those guests needed to sleep on the sofa. Property has many positives. Location, Parking, Facilities, Comfy Beds. However, somes areas need improvement.. Wrong keypad code given, resulting in telephone calls to owner and agent. Rectified bit not ideal start. Upstairs Shower, does not drain quickly and will flood if not rectified shortly. Washing Machine, grey rubber seals need a good clean as they are very dirty. No hand towels provided. Seating on lounge includes 2 floor cushions, which is not as described. Not ideal for people with mobility issues. Tv could do with more instructions as does Central Heating.
