My family (four adults and two small children) enjoyed a wonderful getaway at Whyke cottage. The owner, Belinda, was very communicative and helpful when problems or questions arose. She also supplied a hair dryer very quickly after we discovered there was none at the cottage and gave us a list of local recommendations, which proved very helpful. The cottage is snug, but met all of our needs. We especially enjoyed the round table in the kitchen where our family had the opportunity to chat and enjoy some wonderful meals together. The location is simply ideal: Whyke Lane connects the cottage with the main city center. It was an absolute breeze to go back and forth multiple times per day, even with small children. We highly recommend Whyke Cottage and hope to return.

A few areas for improvement: Umbrellas would be very useful. Instructions on regulating the heat would also be useful. Ensuring that the hot water heater is on a continuous cycle (so as to avoid frigid showers) would also be quite nice.

Kudos: Belinda provided a high chair and crib for our baby, which made it a much smoother (and lighter!) journey for us. Thank you Belinda!

Comfortable, well-equpped pretty cottage in a very convenient location. The landlady and local manager were friendly and efficient. We felt at home straight away, and had a lovely week. It was warm, too, when the weather turned cooler.

Whyke Cottage is a quiet, comfortable, well-appointed house (with the bonus of off-street parking) within easy walking distance of Chichester town centre. Both the owner and her local caretaker were immensely helpful and prompt in dealing with a couple of queries we had.

Lovely Home. Made to feel very welcome. Very well equipped with everything you need. Extremely comfortable beds. Good location.

We rented this property as an interim between selling our old property and purchasing our new home.
The location to the center of town along with the ability to park 3 cars in the drive was a God send.
Lovely large Kitchen and dining area, along with a seperate snug area downstairs.
Wonderful Garden as well.
