Breaks for 2 offer couples the chance to swap the stresses of everyday life for a relaxing, rural retreat. With a choice of 3 self-catering cottages and all year availability, you can experience the stunning views of Northumberland whenever you desire.
All of our 1 bedroom cottages were built in the 19th century and are fully-equipped with central heating, a king-size bed, a plasma TV in both the living room and bedroom, a cooker and fridge, and a wet room – featuring underfloor heating and a power shower. There’s also ample parking available.

Latest Review - July 2019

This was our 4th stay at Poppy Cottage. Everything was as we expected and we will be back again next year. Secure storage was provided for our bikes (arranged prior to arrival) and even the weather was reasonable most of the time. Gabi is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble for her. The hot tub was very welcoming after a long bike ride! We filled our days with walking and cycling plus a day trip to Edinburgh via the train from Berwick.

Third stay here in Tulip Cottage ,excellent as always .Very comfortable and well equipped. Missed the Hot Tub but understandable why it was removed. Look forward to my coming back again.

Excellent location for exploring the area. Cottage is comfortable, what's not to like? Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Clean and comfortable cottage and in a quiet area. This is our second visit and already booking for next year. Hosts regularly visit and friendly. Nothing to fault.
