Away from it all yet close to so much our two self-catering cottages offer comfortable, well equipped holiday accommodation for 2 or 6 people. A quiet working arable and livestock farm, Stubbs Farm is surrounded by its own fields and woodland, situated in the very beautiful countryside of East Hampshire in The South Downs National Park. There are stunning views and an abundance of birds and wildlife with barn owls and roe deer often seen. This is a wonderful location for walkers, with walks from the door to enjoy a short stroll on the farm or explore further afield using the many footpaths the area has to offer. Cyclists can enjoy discovering the quiet country lanes and nearby Alice Holt Woodland Park also provides a cycle trail where bikes are available to hire. Our location is ideal as a base for exploring some of Hampshire's prettiest villages, many historic buildings, places of interest and attractions then at the end of the day return to your cottage to relax in this peaceful rural retreat.
Property is excellent, very well equipped and comfortable. Quite remote and be prepared to keep having to wash your car as it gets filthy on the farm tracks and unmarked roads. Good local shop in Kingsley (2 miles approx) and petrol station on main A325 to Farnham (2.5 miles).
We had an enjoyable holiday Stubbs Farm. The Coach House was a bit on the small size, but adequate, it was spotlessly clean and had lovely views over farm land. Jean and Robert Stephens were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
