Dalraddy Holiday Park was established in 1968. It covers 39 hectares of what was originally heather moor land. The park currently contains 82 fully serviced traditional static holiday caravans, 6 fully serviced wooden chalet style caravans, 67 fully serviced wooden chalets, 36 pitches for touring caravans and facilities for up to 50 tents making us one of the largest caravan and camping sites in the area. The park also sells static caravans and chalets and acts as a letting service for owners that includes cleaning.
Services on the park include a licensed shop; which provides a retail outlet for estate produce, acts as a booking agent for activities and has a computer with free Wi-Fi. There is also a launderette, children's play park and a recently refurbished central toilet block with under- floor heating.
There are an array of activities to enjoy which are available on the Alvie and Dalraddy estate such as Quad biking,1.5 km zip wire course, horse riding, fishing, gorge walking, paintball, bush craft survival courses, clay pigeon shooting, archery and stag feeding. You can even learn about the environment and history of the estate by enjoying a guided tour .
Our whole family had a great trip. The Chalet was excellent and much bigger than we expected. The whole place was equipped to a very high standard, we had brought some of our own kitchen implements from home but found the kitchen had everything we needed. There were lots of board games and sports equipment for the kids. The Chalets aren't too close together so you don't feel crammed in. Location is also great with Aviemore being only a few minutes away in the car. Only downside was no O2 mobile service which you could argue is a benefit. Will definitely be back.
Stunning views and great location. Plenty of lovely walks. Just a short drive from Aviemore, Rothiemurchus and Loch Insh.
The cabin was very well equipped and immaculate. Was great relaxing by the log fire after a long walk.
Could not recommend highly enough. Will definitely be back.
We had a fantastic stay at Dalraddy. The park itself is beautifully woody and we saw red squirrels every day! The static caravan was huge, incredibly well equipped and absolutely un-faultably clean! The beds were very comfy and the shower was great. The heating worked very well and even in a cold October it was super cosy. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and would definitely return.
The location made the holiday - close to Aviemore for supplies and activities and close to Kincraig and the Spey River for nature and river activities. We had fantastic service from Dalraddy staff. The static caravan had an excellent open plan eating/dinning area which made it spacious. The bedrooms were small but that was to be expected in a caravan. The cooker was excellent. The shower was big and had hot water. We had visits from red squirrels and many variety of birds (thanks to the bird feeders and bird food provided). The park was quiet and peaceful.
Having moved up out of the normal touring part of the site to the woods we couldn't be happier. The pitch is spacious and well spaced from it's neighbours. The woods are full of squirrels and deer which really make you feel your wild camping but with all the normal site facilities just as close as being in the main lower area.
Very friendly service throughout, and a very-well-kept loo block with great showers. good grass for camping, and the food van was great too. V impressed.
The chalet was in a wonderful location. Although the site was busy you never felt that you were in a crowded holiday park. The site has been well thought out no one intruding on you. Plenty of walks around the park and plenty of things to do for all ages.
Family group 9 year to 67 year old stayed for 1 week and enjoyed every minute. Chalet was comfortable and big enough if you wanted some space to yourself. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. 5 STAR.
Our pitch is brilliant we are under trees but it is sheltered a d we get visits from Robin's and other birds also we have watched the squirrels gathering their nuts and hiding them some into bird feeders

We enjoyed our stay at Dalraddy holiday park and would come back for sure. Chalet was gorgeous and Had everything we needed. Have recommended to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The park itself had lots to offer and the food van was absolutely delicious. It was a bit expensive but great location. One woman at reception was a little frosty but other staff encountered were great and any few hiccups that I had were resolved straight away.
