Edinbane Self Catering – 2 renovated stone cottages “On the croft” near sea and mountains. Fifty minutes from the Skye Bridge, 13 miles from Portree and 8 from Dunvegan. Outstanding locations for hill walking, bird watching, outdoor and full range of marine activities, alternatively just a base for touring. Both properties are well equipped and supplied with comprehensive information packs on where to go and what to do to suit all tastes. Washing and drying facilities available. Walkers and Cyclists welcome, Children welcome, Cats and Dogs welcome. Horese welcome Cots and high chair available. Prices - £600 - £750 per week, short breaks available. (Disabled access?)

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Alistair was very helpful on our arrival. The cottage had everything that we needed and is to a very high standard.

We so enjoyed staying at the Merman Cottage. On arrival we found tea and homemade flapjack, and were soon welcomed personally and given tips on what to see on Skye by Alistair and Helen. The cottage is very cosy with authentic, pretty decor and a pot-bellied stove to add warmth and atmosphere if needed. It is more spacious than I expected (and has the luxury of 2 toilets). I personally loved the little nook in the bedroom for reading with views over the loch. The porch area provides space for muddy boots and wet coats with a drying rack and a seat to change footwear - there is also access to...more
