Doonbeg Holiday homes are located in the centre of the village and within walking distance of the White Strand beach. Doonbeg enjoys traditioal Irish pubs of which some are highly renowned for their food.

I would highly recommend Doonbeg Holiday Homes, the house was a very high standard, as were the curtains, bedding etc. The agent Kathleen was so nice and so helpful.

This place was exactly as advertised. I liked the open flow downstairs and the four bedrooms upstairs were perfect for the six (four adults and two kids) of us. The staff were extremely helpful. We took the kids to the hotel pool on several occasions and it was a nice bonus to be able to utilize the hotel amenities while we enjoyed our stay. The playground area was fantastic, too. Our two kids (3 & 5) used the playground daily. The proximity, via car, to the City center as well as Cobh and Middleton was great, too. We also spent a day at the wildlife park and that place is a gem!
Simply put, this was a fantastic place at a fantastic area with fantastic staff. I will definitely recommend this place and will definitely stay there again.

It was a perfect location, very family friendly & safe. Very impressed with the quietness of the night life, if you go around to the bar it was where it was all happening. Whereas if you wanted a peaceful nights sleep with was perfect positioning for the houses @ the back. The Close amenities had everything you'd need on sight. Enjoyed the chicken & chips in the chippie. The young attendant was very resourceful in saving us money using a big bottle of coke instead of individual cans for the kids. The house was well stocked with what we needed. What we really missed is the use of Wi-Fi though! And perhaps the games room could be opened a bit earlier. On a positive note we would recommend it highly to other families, it was a little piece of heaven to enjoy & take away in our memories.

These homes are beautiful, they are spotless clean and we're located at the end of a cul de sac so it was safe for the little ones. We had two houses a 3 bed and a 4 bed and there was plenty of room with each of us having our own bathroom in the 4 bed.
I cannot fault these houses the only downside was the village which has nothing to do with the houses. It's very quite and there's not much to do, so make sure you have a car to drive to kilkee which is about a 7 min drive away. The beach is a drive away also because the part you get to when walking is not suitable to walk on.
Overall we had a lovely holiday at doonbeg holiday homes and would recommend to others.
