My friend and I spent 4 weeks in this property. It was fabulous, Landlady Dawn was gorgeous and the location was perfect. Would highly recommend this property. InYorkHolidays team was also great to deal with.
A great place to stay on the most iconic street in York and very close to all key tourist attractions.
I will absolutely stay at 42 Haxby in future visits to York. Cozy and stylish facility with large kitchen to cook and enjoy meals. Lovely space to allow several people to stay with a drive and
Very well positioned just outside city walls. Fresh and very clean interior. Well presented kitchen. Quite at night
I'm struggling with this review, conflicted between wanting to be self-serving and wanting to be honest. This apartment is very popular and we are finding it hard to schedule time in it when we come to York. So everybody else - don't rent this apartment! Stay away! We want it instead! Now for the honesty - this is a very well appointed, extremely well located apartment which is close to the rail station. We come to York two separate weeks a year, and we always try to rent this apartment as our first choice - A++
I have to say that if this flat belonged to me, I would not want to rent it to anyone else, because the flat is so great. when I first saw the flat, the sound from my heart was "WOW" and thought that the landlord must be very generous! I enjoyed my holiday in York not only the beautiful city but also the comfortable flat. It has everything a person need for holiday home. The properties and amenities are of course sufficient, most importantly the overall environment and atmosphere were just perfect to me. Staying at such a wonderful flat, my holiday in York this summer definitely has b...more
A fantastic, cosy flat in the most iconic street of England. All possible comforts provided by the super efficient and helpful owners, from clean and perfumed linen (changed once a week) to tea, coffee and biscuits ready for us on our arrival. Everything works, everything is perfect. Amazing. We'll come back!
This apartment is fantastic the views from windows are amazing seeing the boats going up and down the river and wild life Clean comfortable welcoming apartment Will be coming again
As I work overseas, and no longer have a base in York, I've booked this house a few times now. Clearly if I could have found better, I would have stayed there insted, but, its the best I can find. My only comment has nothing to do with the property, but its the downside of being so close to Micklegate, and the noise of the drunken people returning home late at night. Other that, No: 7 is a charming property.
Perfect location excellent location will be back great value for money and nice little find . This was my third time here
We had a fantastic three night stay with friends at the end of September beginning of October at 611 Westgate. The apartment is immaculate, comfortable and very tastefully decorated with nice surroundings. It is extremely well kitted out with everything you need for a home from home feel. We loved the balcony for hearing the bells of York Minster and watching the world go by. All in all an extremely relaxing time and having stayed in York many times before this is so central to walk to and from the town without being in it.
It was very good location and comfortable place to stay . The only one thing to improve is the shower in the main room. Tiny and the other bathroom is better.
We stayed here for a weekend writer’s retreat. The house was comfortable, clean and has everything we could want. Recommended!
Excellent location for York and a good base for locations further afield. Quiet and helpful neighbours just an added bonus
great property, in a good quiet location, short walk to the start of the city center, good local bus service to the train station and other attractions, the property is spotless and well presented.
House is very comfy, very well equipped and in a convenient location about 20 minutes walk into the centre. Around the corner are excellent local shops and cafes. I wouldn't hesitate to book the property again.
This flat was perfectly ideal for us in terms of location, parking space, shops, bars, restaurants and plenty more. This is the second time we stayed at Manor Court, previously was at no 14, it is almost the same layout except one of the toilet layout is different which it is for wheelchair friendly, I suggest a shower curtain will make it better so it won't wet the whole bathroom. I would recommend this place to anyone as it caters for all needs and is in an ideal location.
4 Crambeck Court is wonderful, even the second time around! The location is great, being met by Ellen works well, the kitchen is well appointed, it’s clean, light and the neighbors we have met are friendly and helpful. We look forward to a return visit.
Excellent location for York and for us the easy access to the racecourse and access to the City wall were a bonus. The Bishy road availability is also a big plus for shopping etc . The balcony was a lovely feature especially in the evening. Negative points were the lack of a pint of milk on arrival, the oven not working on the first evening (though the agents fixed this the following day), the dining table seemed to us a bit like Caravaning in the 1960s,
Lovely convenient location for walking into town and for trains, buses etc. Could have done with more ovenproof cookware as one casserole is not really enough to prepare/serve a meal for four adults especially if you wanted to use the microwave at same time. One wooden spoon not enough and there were no serving spoons (there were spaghetti servers and a slotted spoon but these are no use for sauce etc.) Also no brush to sweep the floor with so was a bit 'crummy' by the end of our week. Apart from these inconveniences a great time was had by all and we would go back again.
we all thought the property was fantastic the best any where and EMISTINA was fantastic THANK YOU hoping to meet you again
