I hosted a 2-night yoga retreat in the Village Hall and couldn't recommend it more strongly. The space was cosy and warm with the glow of the log burner adding to the relaxation. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and felt very homely, and the staff on site were excellent, always on hand when we needed assistance.
I will absolutely be back in future to retreat at West Lexham again.

We booked the Village Hall (along with Barn area) at West Lexham for a Corporate Awayday. The Village Hall is a lovely space with 3 ensuite bedrooms and a small kitchen and a great room for presentations. It had some sofas that we used and some chairs (these were quite cold to sit on and not incredibly comfy for a long period of time so cushions might have been nice). Overall though we were very happy with our event and would highly recommend West Lexham and I think we are hoping to return next year.

We returned to West Lexham for a family weekend for 21 of us after our first stay 8 years ago. The first time we stayed in the Barn and accommodation but this time we stayed in the Village Hall plus 3 cabins as the Barn was unavailable.We liked the ambience of the Village Hall and the bedrooms which were attached to it were all comfortable and pleasant. The 3 cabins were also great but couples found the beds rather small. The kitchen attached to the Village Hall was not very well equipped for self catering for a large number of people but we have taken up points about this with West Lexham Staff who have noted them and said that they mostly let the Village Hall for Yoga groups with outside caterers. Another point raised by our family was poor external lighting and unlit signage making arriving after dark and negotiating your way around site difficult. Having said this we had a great weekend and loved seeing how much the site and grounds have developed since our previous visit. We would recommend West Lexham as an ideal venue for a big family group as the combination of a big communal area but the privacy of individual bedrooms works very well but probably the Barn would work better for groups of more than 16 people.

Hosted a yoga retreat for 18 people and we loved using the space. The bedrooms were all made up well for guests. We didn’t have enough yoga kit initially but Henry was able to provide. There was an issue with the dishwasher but Henry was able to resolve the following day for us and helped with the washing and drying. Would book again.

We have just returned from hosting our first Retreat at The Village Hall .
We had an absolutely amazing time !
Everything was spotless . The staff were so helpful and so welcoming . Nothing was too much trouble .
West Lexham is such a beautiful place and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone !
We will definitely be booking to come back and hold a retreat here next year !

We had a retreat @ westlexham and it was truly magical. The venue and the staff was amazing. we had a lovely 3 day stay. The venue is magical. The village hall was lovely , but I believe the bedrooms require a redo.

We hired the village hall to host our weekend wellbeing retreat and it was a perfect setting! The arrangements with staff beforehand were so easy and they were very responsive to any queries we had. During the weekend, the staff allowed us to get on and do our thing but were always there if we needed anything (but we really didn't because everything just flowed!)

The rooms were great and the beds very comfortable. The village hall itself is such a great multifunctional space and there was plenty of space for our group of 15.

What really sets West Lexham apart is the grounds. It really is stunningly beautiful and the natural setting really aided with our wellbeing. Extra things like a fire pit, wild swimming and all the local walks really made it feel so special.

Our retreat guests all felt relaxed there and even though there was another retreat that weekend and glamping guests, there felt plenty of space for everyone.

We will definitely be back next year!

Thanks so much for everything. I was really happy with how it went. Just a couple of things - Charlotte struggled with the lack of some kitchen equipment - no water jugs or serving dishes - basic essentials that were needed. The yoga bolsters were not suitable for restorative yoga - bigger bolsters are needed for yoga retreats - I think you have them in the main hall but not village hall? Would be great to have clarity over equipment before the retreat - what's included in the cost etc. The village hall was v cold on arrival and didn't warm up until after the first yoga session. Oh and the cupboard in the triple bedroom doesn't open - I think someone from a previous retreat may have taken the key home. Otherwise all great so thank you!

We had a lovely time retreating at West Lexham. The few things that would be really helplful would be giving keys to each person in the rooms. We had clients sharing (some in a dorm) and only giving one key per room caused a few issues for them. Made things a bit complicated when they didn't need to be- a few lock outs!

There was mould/ mildew in one of the bathrooms which luckily was in one of the retreat leaders rooms instead of a clients. We would have swapped them if it was in a clients.

Would have been nice for the morning coffee and shots to be delivered to the village hall kitchen for everyone.

The grounds and stay was gorgeous. All the staff were so helpful when we were there (there was a few confusions and miscommunications via email beforehand). We had a great time and will absolutely be back in the future.

We have just returned from a Nordic Walking retreat, staying at West Lexham.

What can I say! It really couldn't have gone any better. West Lexham is just stunning and so peaceful. The accommodation was comfortable, well presented and maintained. Delicious food. Loved the lake swimming, outdoor yoga sessions and an excellent location for Nordic Walking too. Fabulous time for all my guests and we hope to come back soon! Thank you.

Hello, We loved out stay yet as a retreat space we rented the village hall and due to the boiler / water tank being really loud and not communicated to me , we had a rather unhappy group as it was super distruptive

we also ran out of toilet paper and wood as had to to find people to deal with this

If I am honest I was not blown away with helpfulness and service

We had a wonderful weekend at West Lexham. The gardens are just gorgeous. We loved exploring the whole property and swimming in the lake. My yoga students all left feeling completely rejuvenated and that was largely down to the stunning venue and countryside. I will keep coming back again and again.

The Village Hall could do with some outdoor seating for meals. Also I found the rooms in Stable Cottage smelt of mothballs and weren’t as nice as the others - I wish I’d been warned about that as I might not have booked them.

I arranged a 2 day stay for our management team of 10 people. Georgia was very helpful and gave me lost of recommendations prior to our arrival. Everything was ready for us and she was happy to answer any questions. Lots of hand sanitisers available, social distancing was not a problem. We had a lovely walk around the grounds and everyone very much enjoyed their stay. Thank you.

West Lexham is a truly stunning place. We had 7 bedrooms, alll individually decorated in great style and the Village Hall created a wonderful space for the family to gather (11 of us). The grounds are extensive and very beautiful. The lake is great for swimming and boating and the 'secret garden' is lovely. There is a tennis court and firepits to toast marchmallows. We were made very welcome. The office staff were very helpful, and a special tribute to Hayley and Colin, who were so amazing. Thank you for a very special week

We tied an extended family holiday to a poolside wedding for 60 with an evening Ceilidh in the Hall. The gardens early August were to die for and the cottages were picture book pretty.

The West Lexham Estate has a profound deep rooted beauty and although you could quibble about some of the layout (for example acess to the pool is through Pool Cottage), I have not stayed anywhere in England that is lovelier. Everyone (very old to young) had a great time and all the twenty-somethings wanted to come back for some special occasion of their own.

Almost forgot to mention the faultless staff and lots of lovely touches such as a generously heated and scrupulously clean swimming pool, plentiful supplies of tea/coffee/peppercorns/sugar etc etc etc and quality beds with 1000 (?) count cotton covers.
