Lovely cottage in beautiful countryside but close enough to Ashbourne amenities. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this pretty little gem. Hosts were very attentive to any needs. So many great places to visit including Gladstone Pottery, Monsal Trail, Blue John Caves and Dovedale. For a special dinner try Charlestons in Bakewell or for good home cooked meal the Red Lion is just down the road in Kniveton.

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week this summer. The cottage is located at a stunning and peacefull location, it has a lovely garden. The cottage has everything you need for a week away, specifically very comfortable beds. Becky and Tom are very friendly and the welcome pack was brilliant. Highly recommend!

We stayed as a family and had the most wonderful weekend in the Peak District. The cottage is close to Dovedale and a really authentic village pub. The hosts are outstanding and will help you with anything

We had a wonderful stay at Parkfields Stable. It was very comfortable for our family of four, with plenty of space for everyone. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Becky and Tom were very hospitable, and communication was excellent from start to finish. We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Parkfield Stables. The cottage is well furnished, immaculately presented and very comfortable, with well appointed bedrooms, it is ideal for a family of four. Despite the kitchen being quite small it is carefully planned and very well equipped. The attention to detail including wonderful welcome goodies, large soft towels and crisp cotton bedding as well as the basics - loo roll, toiletries etc being generously provided were really appreciated. The cottage is quiet and well located for exploring the low peaks - surrounded by fields and fabulous walks, with towns and other attractions a short drive away, we were spoilt for choice! Thank you Becky and Tom.

Great location......with lots of walks from the door step with wonderful views...Lovely walk across the meadows to Ashbourne. A market town that as everything you need for your stay.
The cottage is comfortable and welcoming, offering your great views and plenty of quite time...Great welcome pack, cakes are excellent.
