We love Sanna and have been coming here for 30 years. We have stayed in 8 different properties in Ardnamurchan and this was by far the best. Thank you so much .... we were very comfortable in every way. You thought of everything! We will be back!!
We had a lovely time at the cottage albeit due to Covid-19 we had to cut our stay short by a day. The views from the living room are wonderful and the owners even had the fire on for us when we arrived which I thought was a lovely gesture. The walks from the property were brilliant and the local shop was well stocked and the people friendly. We would definitely like to go back again once this situation is over. The sun even shone!
Loved our recent short stay at Croft caravan in October. The caravan was well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was very peaceful with beautiful views. We have been many times before and will be returning to recharge our batteries as soon as we can!
We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Byre. The house is comfortable and it is nice to settle down with a glass of wine near the wood burning stove. John and Jackie are very helpful and welcoming. Ardnamurchan is wild and beautiful. We had two dry and windy days and enjoyed Sanna Bay.
Bit of a scramble to get to house, should have brought backpacks not suitcases. But my oh my what a location, made the cliff climb worth it. Lovely wee cottage with fab sea view over to the small isles. Peace perfect peace.
We wanted a quiet surroundings and Ardnamurchan is just the place for that. Situated in Kilchoan we rented a holiday home from Steading Holidays. At first we rented Ardvaig, but due to study arrangements we had to reschedule to a week earlier. That was no problem for Steading Holidays, if only we could opt for a different cottage, which turned out to be Comraich. Excellent customer service! We came via Mull, using the Tobermory-Kilchoan ferry. After that we explored Ardnamurchan, which has stunning scenery (part of it a very old volcano). Sanna beach should not be missed (suprb walk on beach ...more
A week in late November - house was warm and comfortable, ideal for our lazy objectives. The weather caught us out - calm and mild, when we were prepared for proper winter! No complaints, though, we enjoyed the winter solitude.
A spacious comfortable house with fantastic views across the Small Isles and Skye. The house is well equipped (we cooked Christmas dinner), clean and warm. The housekeeper was really helpful.
A fabulous house to spend Christmas with family. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen and amazing views
We had a lovely 4 night stay at Strathconon. The house was lovely and clean and cosy. Great location ( my 2nd stay at Strathconon ). Great that it’s dog friendly too - we had 2 small dogs with us. Would definitely book again !
Ideal location within kilchoan, easy walk to hotel or ferry terminal to mull. Great views from balcony. Nice little cafe with home baking just yards from front door. We will be back!
Another great holiday in Ian's despite the weather made even more comfortable with the new furniture and furnishings. Loved the choice of books to read, something for everyone. Just feel at home here hence why I keep coming back.
This is the second time we have stayed in this property and if anything it has improved with the new extension housing a new shower room and twin bedroom, as for the location what can I say
