A very well appointed cottage very clean. And comfortable . Lovely part of the country we have been visiting this area for several years and we love it.
Eilean Feoir is a wonderful place for a holiday. The view from it is breathtaking as is he whole of the peninsula, the beaches are fantastic and as a bonus we had a Red Deer Stag visit the garden most days. We had a great time and would love to go back again.
We’ve been staying with this owner on this site for 17 years......then, finding that they were not open anymore was a difficult move away until we came upon their new caravan on the old site. Brilliant! I could watch the view for hours.
The cottage is quirky and has a lot of potential. However it is overfull of un-nessessary furniture and ornaments. It is tired and in need of an update. New bed linen and towels should be a priority. There are too many make shift repairs. There was no heating in the bathroom.
Our second time here and we are about to book for next year. This is in an idyllic spot with wildlife on your doorstep. The scenery and sunsets are amazing, there is nowhere better than this
Spent Christmas in this beautiful home with plenty room for all the family and so very well equipped with lots of extras..and amazing views.. to make a stay here special.
Our stay at the Bungalow was enhanced by fabulous weather enabling us to make the most of all this area has to offer. The views from the garden and the front windows of the cottage were amazing. We were able to enjoy almost all of our meals al fresco and really appreciated the picnic table with a view. The interior was comfortable, cosy and well equipped. The toilet flush system was temperamental but didn't cause too much of an "inconvenience". The location was perfect for walks to the Ardnamurchan lighthouse, Sanna Bay and exploring the coast and bays.
We stayed at Comraich before on 4 different occasions as a family when the children were young and the house was always a major part in a successful holiday. This time we stayed as a couple and found the house to be just as good as we remembered. Excellent location in Kilchoan as a base to explore the area and get the ferry over to Tobermory to visit Mull. Always worth whale watching at the lighthouse and their cafe is excellent for a sandwich and a coffee. Good local hotel for food and information on the area. Excellent cafe in the community centre and a great shop. The house is very well ...more
Dilemma? If we give a rave review , we reduce the possibility of getting a repeat booking for a location we would very much like to return to! Say no more .
Beautiful location, comfortable accommodation and plenty to do in the surrounding area. Both kids, aged 6+2 loved it and didn't want to leave. Would happily return
The bungalow was bigger than we expected and very well equipped. The view from the lounge and front bedrooms was fabulous! We would have liked WiFi connection but at least the 4G phone signal was enough to post to social media to boast about the beautiful place we were staying! Cleanliness has just got an OK because of the giant spiderwebs hanging from the utility room ceiling. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless! Lots to do in the area . We wished we had booked for 2 weeks!
We have been holidaying in Kilchoan for decades - so that's our recommendation of the area as a holiday destination. This is our second stay in this cottage and the kitchen has been renewed since our last visit. The house is very well equipped and we had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed using the breadmaker and the wood burning stove . The WiFi (required by son for work) was good. It was still warm enough to sit outside and the tables are well placed to maximise the sunny spots.
Well maintained and well equipped with a location to die for! Been to Kilchoan many times but first time in Strathconon. I suspect it won't be the last.
The cottage was warm and spacious and for sea watching an ideal location. That said, it needs a little attention in respect of the dampness and plumbing. For some strange reason the kitchen sink had odd taps, one of which ( the cold) was so small, it was virtually impossible to place a pan or kettle under it. My main concern is booking and paying for a cottage that sleeps four and being asked to "hire" linen for two of the guests.
Enjoyed our stay in Kilchoan, we were very lucky with the weather, dry and sunny days in late November.
Great views. Comfortable and cosy. Brilliant countryside. We were very lucky with the weather. Nice to be able to bring the dog.
Property still only partly finished ...........nnnnnnnnnnnnnccccccccccccccccsssssssssssssssssBbbbbbbb
