A truly idyllic seaside holiday home, this coastal retreat really offers everything you could want for a stay by the sea with endless character, and a convenient location, just seconds from the beach where you can enjoy the beautiful evening sunsets. The cottage would be perfectly suited to couples, friends or families with children looking for an ideally located base in Sandgate.

Quaint little house with beach theme throughout. Lovely and warm on a cold winters night.
Few issues during our stay unfortunately but the hot water was fixed quickly. TV screen has dark patches making viewing difficult, bath towels are too small and kettle needs to be descaled! A water filter and mattress toppers would also be beneficial.
Kitchen was very well equipped and welcome box was a very nice touch.
As a last minute booking this was fine for our family however suites 2 couples more than a family with children as 2 double beds.

Only suitable for 2 adults and 1 child. We were constantly looking for a parking space nearby so unloaded the car outside then would find somewhere to park.
A good location with beach just over the road.
If you have a child beware there are far to many ornaments so you might want to remove them.

This is a very sweet cottage, in a very convenient spot a couple of mins from the beach. The owners made a big effort to ensure it was clean, beautifully decorated and sparkling in the sunshine. The beds are very comfy, there is a lovely shady courtyard garden (with deckchairs) and a well equipped kitchen with extra touches like different teas and a welcome hamper. The nautical decorations add to the holiday atmosphere. Sandgate is lovely with several nice places to eat and takeaway drinks from the pub to drink on the front. Parking is not immediately on site but relatively easy to find. Lots of interesting places nearby inc Folkestone, Romney Marsh, Dungeness, Samphire Hoe and Dover Castle. Thanks for a brilliant time.
