This is truly a ‘wow’ house, just two rows back from the sea with a fabulous mix of period features and contemporary art and design. Colours and textures combine to create a stylist yet comfortable retreat. Luxury abounds with Corian worktops, roll top baths, modern artwork, quality mattresses, quirky feature wallpaper and there is even a huge bed from the Ritz Hotel in Paris. Oyster House sleeps eight guests in total, with three bedrooms in the main house and a fourth bedroom in a lovely self contained lodge in the garden.

My family and I stayed with Keepers Cottages for the 5th time. Their service just keeps getting better each time! Not that it needed to.
Incredibly helpful staff and the house is as immaculate.
Deal never disappoints

What a beautiful and fascinating house! We really enjoyed our stay here. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and plenty of space everywhere.

The only thing we would have liked would have been to be able to make the bedrooms darker at night as the shutters don’t shut out much light and the studio has roof lights which didn’t have blinds so far as we could see - but appreciate this might not bother everyone.

A lovely place to stay and we would definitely return.

This is a beautiful, stylish and well-equipped house in a great location. It's within easy walking distance of the High Street shops and restaurants and minutes form the seafront. The interior decor is really stunning. Customer service was also excellent - any queries both before and during our stay were promptly dealt with in an effecient and friendly manner. The honesty bar in the sitting rooom is a very nice touch

There is a warning that the steps to the second floor are steep. This warning should be heeded as all the steps are steep and anyone with even a slight mobility problem (a dodgy knee, for example) could find themselves in trouble. The lovely separate chalet in the garden was a neccessary addition for our party.

The quirky layout is charming but the location of the bathrooms is not ideal - renters need to make sure they know each other well!

One final plea - door hooks and more hanging space/hangers for clothes wouod be really welcome - and more wastepaper bins please!

A nice property in a good area for access to coast and centre of Deal. The kitchen is quite narrow but well fitted out, the stairs are narrow and parking is difficult if you have more than one car. These however are minor issues and generally it was a well fitted out property with its own unique decor. We enjoyed our weekend.
