This wonderful self catering cottage is perfectly located sitting proud on an elevated site enjoying magnificent mountain and lake views along the Wild Atlantic Way. Lake View House is beautifully presented, has been newly refurbished throughout offering luxurious accommodation benefiting from large picture windows oozing natural light throughout.

House was situated just off the N59 approx 20mins drive out of Clifton.
Very remote area but the views from the house were just breath taking
Situated beside another two dwellings
No where to walk or run from the house unless you cross over the N59.
The house was perfect for our extended family four bathrooms gave us all plenty of space, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for us to cook

Lovely house and area, house is remote so you need to Drive for anything, which was fine for us. For a large family or two families this is a great location. you are only short drives from beaches , towns and lots of activities. As long as the sun shines this is super location for that family get away. The house is large with lots of rooms for groups to split up in the evening, kids can watch TV, play view games, in one room, there is a lovely sun room for evening drinks, a hugh kitchen and 2nd TV couch area for gathering. There was a BBQ with outdoor seating also which was super in the evenings. You have full cooking facilities if you want and takeaway is about 25mins drive away.

The house is in a perfect location for discovering Connemara. Our host was very helpful and her house was very comfortable for our week there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

would recommend this lovely bungalow for families. Owners were helpful and location was good. Tiled floors noisy so would suggest some felt stickers under furniture!

We visited the house with friends (two couples and two kids). The house was clean, and had all needed utensils and commodities needed. The house itself was a great starting point for smaller hiking tours. Supermarkets and smaller stores are close by as well. The rest is just max 40 minutes away in any direction.

Just two things: There are two really friendly dogs around the house (they will not go in and they will not do anything), but just in case someone is scared of dogs. Also we had a lot of tiny mosquito on the terrace (there is a small water source close by). Don't forget to bring some repellent.

We are happily recommending this house to anyone who wants to explore Connemara!
