From the moment we arrived the owner was relaxed and informative for everything in the house and after where to go for music ,food and some very good tips .The first evening we were tempted out by the sound of fiddle playing that was drifting in the window from across the street…it was a fantastic evening..We ate out every evening,..but the supermarket is 3 doors down..One of the nicest parts of house is that he balcony overlooking the inlet.. in a nutshell “You won’t be disappointed and you will not forget it “ Thankyou for a fantastic stay .. we will be back .

Gerard was a good host. Did not intrude and was available if required. Location is in centre of Clifden.

Perfect place for a large group. 5 rooms with separate beds and en-suite in every room. Right in the middle of the town with lots of free parking nearby. Pubs restaurants literally 30 secs walk from the front door

We spent a lovely week in Connemara, based in White Heather House. Gerard, the owner ,was veey nice and was promptly on hand to help us with any problems. The location is ideal, right in the centre of the town. The rooms were clean and the kitchen well stocked. Seating in the living area is limited for a large number of guests, which was the only draw back, however, if the weather is nice there is a lovely patio area to sit out on.

We were a party of three couples with some little ones in tow and the White Heather House was the perfect spot for us. It's situated centrally in Clifden and is close to all shops, restaurants and amenities (including a bike rental shop on same street). The house has all the mod cons and is perfect for cooking your own meals and includes a lovely backyard patio with lovely views over the bay. Gerard the host is great and looked after us well - he lives next door so is on hand if needed. We thought car parking might be an issue but it wasn't and there's a handy car park three doors up. We'll definitely return!

Great location to stay . Right in the square in clifden . Beautiful large deck out the back overlooking the bay . Lots of things to do and fantastic scenery .
