Beautiful luxury accommodation. A group of us booked Hyning House, comprising of two properties both of which were very comfortable and warm. All in all a superb break.
The Carriage House was perfect for our winter break. The Hyning Estate is peaceful and scenic and just a short distance to the Lakes and Dales. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. We highly recommend the accommodation, it was beautifully furnished, spacious and lovely and warm.
The cottage had everything anyone could need and more. There was great attention to detail and everything of excellent quality and cleanliness. The bed was really comfortable and we really appreciated the energy efficiency aspects, which we have at home and which make for very comfortable living. Having a car charger on site was an added bonus. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained. We haven't been to this area before but will definitely be back. A gorgeous, comfortable and quality cottage. The layout is well-considered with lots of space. All rooms are really well-equipped. Fantastic location with walks from the front door. Useful information in the Welcome Pack. Peaceful outdoor space. Simple booking process and great customer service.
The Old Forge is one of the best self-catering places we have ever stayed in. The location is perfect with views of the rolling hills beyond. Inside you will find luxury with beautiful furniture, great bathrooms including easily accessible shower, and a matchless heating system: all with first-class green credentials. Faultless.
Fantastic location to unwind after traveling from the USA. The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious and just what we needed. A great base within the heart of the Lakes countryside.
The Old Farmhouse on the Hyning Estate is in a beautiful location, with breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside. It is within easy access to the Southern Lakes. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout. The shared bathroom is spacious and the shower is fabulous. The only slight discomfort was the warmth of the house despite turning the heating down and opening the windows it was very hot which was a shame as we didn't get to use the log burner. if you could also organise for access to the house to occur a bit earlier in the autumn/winter evenings that would be ...more
Lovely location, very peaceful and such a treat to see the deer in the field each morning. Cottages had all we needed for a great stay and the accommodation was beautifully maintained.
Everything went very well for us. The only deficiency we felt was the lack on a detailed local map so we could identify where to go for a walk in the neighbourhood.
We had a wonderful stay in the Tack Barn which was like a mini home from home. The accommodation was excellent with beautiful views across unspoilt countryside. All the staff were very helpful especially with the loan of a pair of binoculars as we had left ours at home. The attention to detail was beyond expectation and we hope to return in the future.
