We were in Birnam for a wedding with our family. The accommodation was comfortable and very convenient in terms of the location. The cottage is in a very quiet and attractive setting and there is much to see and do in Birnam, Dunkeld and the surrounding area.
One slight downside was negotiating the entrance to the mews area where the cottage was situated. Returning at night meant walking through a dark tunnel which would have profited greatly from a sensor-activated security light.

Had a great stay, the uneven floors were a great source of amusement! Very well equipped, everything you could possibly need.

Stayed here 5 or 6 times now. Lovely cosy cottage with a lot of character. Interesting furniture, powerful shower, comfy beds, big tv, wifi and a well equiped kitchen. Great location for touring around. I will be back.

Good location, and ideal layout. Nice roomy kitchen.
BUT the shower screen fitted badly; some of the curtains were missing a few hooks, and some could do with a bit of a clean.
No instructions how to use the radiators for heating (apart from the gas fire which was good) and no instructions re refuse collection/recycling.
To be picky, the lighting in the dining area was inadequate, and a rail in the bath to assist getting in and out of the shower would have been a help.
