What a wonderful property this is!
We were there Fri-Mon for my partner's 50th birthday weekend, (Sat birthday).
There was 10 of us there, 2 kids aged 6 & 9, (they had a ball in the house together), & a 76 year old Gran, as well as the rest of us 47-60 year old's!
The accommodation was perfect for all, a very characterful house, with wonderful nooks & crannies, a great kitchen dining social space area.
The garage was a very helpful addition for us with 4 cars between the 10 of us.
Just cant be positive enough about the place, highly recommend it, oh, & great VFM for 10 people!
Get yourselves there & enjoy it!

The house is a mid terrace but you feel so secluded with the size of this house inside and the fullly enclosed back garden. From it’s actual water well in the living room, old bakers oven still in the wall, dual staircase and glass ceiling/floor above the entrance hall this house is an entertainment on its own...never mind when you add in all the people it can accommodate. It is well equipped, with all the kitchen parafanalia you could need and a filter coffee maker was a welcome addition. The kitchen itself is a fantastic space, great for entertaining with a huge dining table as well as a smaller table which was great for the kids. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and plenty bathrooms for a large group. The lovely touch of a welcome basket was much appreciated and the bread it contained (Cheese and Leek loaf from the local bakery) was delicious.booking and communication was spot on and we will definitely be booking this house again

Hi we experienced a few difficulties on our last visit. The shower in the middle landing was leaking seeping through to the roof on the first floor. Which meant that all 7 people had to use the one shower that was on the top landing. We phoned the cleaner who did get a plumber out to look at it however he just told us what we already knew. There was a lot of small flies in the bedrooms and the top shelf of the dishwasher is broken..
It would also be more convenient if there was a spare set of bedding left for us..

These comments will not stop us from returning, however it would be nice for them to be fixed for our next visit.

Regards Tracey
