This was our second consecutive year staying at Bridge Cottage, to coincide with the Keswick Film Festival - only this year we had better weather! As before, the cottage was clean and well furnished; the beds are super-comfy and the kitchen well-stocked with pots and pans. A very, very minor criticism would be the absence (as far as we could see) of any ceramic roasting/serving dishes for pasta bake-type meals, but I am aware of just how picky this is even as I type! Looking at the visitors book, we clearly weren't the only people making a repeat visit, which tells its own story - recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bridge Cottage, it is very comfortable, well equipped and importantly at this time of year warm. The location is great, there is easy access to the railway path that takes you in to Keswick with its many pubs, restaurants and attractions. The service provided by the owner is first rate, which helped us to relax immediately the moment we arrived.

It's our second holiday at Bridge Cottage and we will be booking it again. The cottage has super reclining sofas, great tv and a kitchen that has everything you need. It's a lovely warm house and the beds are comfy too. The distance from Keswick was good either walking or catching the bus and we could transfer onto other buses to visit other places. Thanks Kevin

Lovely cosy cottage. Fantastic log burner, not that it was that cold, but we live in a modern house with no fire and really wanted to have a fire! Kitchen was well equipped but as there was such a great choice of restaurants and cafe's locally we didn't actually eat in. The walk into Keswick was exactly what we were looking for, flat paths and away from roads. Fantastic walks from the door step. We both really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

We did find the river, lovely as it was rather loud, and the bedroom facing it just too cramped, so slept in the other lighter room. The road noise did disturb us in the morning but not during the night.

The issue with the toilet was resolved and cleared up very well, so thank you for this.

We had a lovely stay in Bridge Cottage, which was very cosy and well equipped. The location on the outskirts of Keswick was perfect for exploring the lively town and beautiful area. Very close are countless walks of all levels, from the gentle cycling/walking path on the old railway to Threlkeld, to the more challenging mountains of Latrigg and Skiddaw.

The cottage was perfect for a friend and I to spend a week in the Lakes. Great location - quiet but not far from the town - and comfortable, with comfy beds and recliner sofas and plenty of hot water to soak away any hiking aches in the big bath.

The owner was very helpful. Cottage was clean and comfortable. A good base for visiting Keswick with walks directly from the cottage. Equipment within the cottage is ample and a good standard. The back bedroom was comfortable with a good bed.

A lovely cosy cottage but it would have been nice to have a small welcome pack as we have had in other rentals - milk, fresh bread, wine?? Parking for 2 cars was a problem which we were told about when booking. A few logs for the fire might have been nice. The lamp bulb in the kitchen didn't work & can opener was useless. Might have been useful to have a message board to report this. The garden was completely overgrown which spoilt the outside sitting area¹. Generally we enjoyed our stay at Bridge cottage.

A really enjoyable stay in Bridge Cottage located in easy reach of Keswick town, yet tucked away at the end of a quiet lane. The cottage has a well equipped, modern kitchen and living space with two comfortable bedrooms, while retaining it's character features. Lovely little patio garden enables outdoor eating in fine weather and although the sound of traffic on the nearby A66 can be heard when outside, it is soon fades into the background and bird song takes over. Will be planning a return visit.

Bridge Cottage is in a great location, just 15 minutes' walk from the centre of Keswick, and with a bus stop for buses to Penrith just 300-400 metres away. It manages to be both cosy but also quietly decadent - reclining sofas, very comfortable beds, etc. The sound of the River Greta rushing immediately outside the kitchen and back bedroom window can be a bit obtrusive at first, but it soon becomes a weirdly relaxing ambient noise, and it is hypnotic to look out on to while sipping a morning cup of tea. Note: if arriving after dark it can be a bit confusing identifying exactly which cottage is which (Bridge *House* is adjacent tot it).

Once again we had a fantastic stay at Bridge Cottage. The new log burner was so easy to use and made it even more cosy, if that was possible. The cottage was decorated for Christmas which again was a nice touch, and we will be back for another visit soon.

Had a wonderful break at Bridge Cottage. It’s our second time staying and will definitely be coming back. Great location with only a short walk into Keswick. Love the wood burner and lazy boys. Can’t wait to return

One of the cleanest cottages we have stayed in and one of the best appointed, more utensils than our kitchen at home. Lovely riverside location and a short walk into Keswick town. Reclining sofas, sky tv, Netflix, Amazon and a nice log burner.
