Our first time booking through Anchor Bay Holidays and really impressed. Apartment Laguz was on the top floor. Spacious, comfortable, good views. Great features - double oven/microwave, fridge, TV in lounge and main bedroom, lovely bathroom. Pet-free which is important for us. Super location for seafront/amusements as well as for town, and walks (we walked up to the North Bay and around by the castle, also along Marine Drive to Sealife Centre and Peasholm Park). My family and I absolutely loved staying at Bailey's Beach House, everything was to a very high standard. Fully equipped kitchen was high spec and easy to use. We chose Pearl & Spice to accommodate 10 members of our family for a well deserved break as my partner hadn't seen his daughters and grandchildren for awhile . Each sleeps 5 so we thought these cottages would be ideal. and they did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning properties, although different layouts both were superb.Spotless and very well equipped . Gingerbread cottage had a relaxing quiet garden to sit and chill and Oyster cottage had the balcony accessed from the bedrooms , perfect for enjoying the sun and very safe for our grandchildren and dog. I was visiting family in the local area and this apartment was a perfect base. It was easy to book and all correspondence was very clear and informative. The apartment is well furnished. It was very clean and very comfortable. There is easy parking and as a female travelling alone I felt very safe. I would recommend the apartment and the bay site in general to anyone looking for accommodation.
A lovely stay at The Bay Filey, the cottage (Tracey Island) was very clean modern and comfortable, its been well looked after, would definitely recommend, as there's plenty of places to visit in the area
Lovley location the hotel next door pop in for drink are if you fancy not cooking the breakfast and meals are lovley also Tesco express,fish chip shop chicken takeaway and bakery all in few minutes the cottage was was few minutes walk to beach and bus stop right out side runs every half hr

Took our grandchildren for a few days and they loved it, property was very clean and well maintained. There is a hottub but be mindfully you have to pay an extra £150, it was all setup for us just to remove the cover and our grandchildren really enjoyed it. There's 3 bedrooms with the main one has unsuited which was good plus a separate bathroom with overhead shower, also a separate toilet down stairs. The location is about 10mins drive into bridlington so not far, we were out everyday so didn't sample any takeaways etc as we eat where we were. All in all we enjoyed the few days aw...more
Dudley's Retreat is a wonderful apartment on The Bay. We have stayed in a number of properties there and this is by far our favourite. Check in and pre-information was clear and concise. The attention to detail is excellent with all the cooking equipment you could need. It was super clean when we arrived and everything you need to keep it that way is in the apartment. All linen and bedding was great quality and the wifi is also excellent if anyone needed to work. This has genuinely been really well thought out for their guests and is a credit to the owners. We have been coming to the bay for 8 years now , sometimes multiple times , and this cottage is our favourite by far . Lovely decor , spacious and a lovely Private garden area .
Having stayed at the Bay Filey quite a few times now, we found that the Sandpiper is definitely the most well thought out, well maintained (and yes it is a high bench mark as they are all good!!!) and the best layout. The location on the park is really good. The decor was tasteful and welcoming, with lovely thoughtful touches throughout the house. It really is gorgeous. The allocated parking space was appreciated too. Sitting outside on the patio with the windows open fully for breakfast was lovely, however the photos were a little misleading in that the house a cross the back is pretty close...more
Our first visit to The Bay, Filey and look forward to returning. Cottage very clean with everything we needed. Comfy beds with crisp white bedding. Excellent shower room and kitchen. Comfortable living area with bifold doors was a lovely feature during the hot weather. Excellent location close to the beach walk - ideal for dogs.
The Lobster Pot Beach House was a lovely place to stay with lots of extras you don't always get in self catering properties. It was in a quiet location and the enclosed decking area was great for the dog. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Very comfortable accommodation thoughtfully furnished, fully equipped clean and welcoming. Taken photos to recommend to friends. Quiet in June 5minutes from Filey. Good value. We'll come again.
Pebble Cottage is a beautiful, welcoming home-from-home experience in a lovely location. The well-equipped kitchen with high quality appliances and everything you need to enjoy your holiday at the Bay. The beds are extremely comfortable, the bathroom is high quality. We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay.
We had a fab week away when we stayed at ‘Anchor at the bay’. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything you could ever need. The patio doors opened onto a lovely grassed area for quickly letting the dog onto but 5 minutes round the corner was the wildflower meadow and the lake that we walked round too. Beach access was great. We also did archery which was great fun even though it got a bit competitive . Highly recommend Anthony and Anchor Bay Holidays
Only point I would make was the WiFi was poor so the TV kept freezing. Everything else about the apartment was fine.

This was a lovely stay, the apartment was perfect for us, very clean and plenty of parking. We've not got a dog but the whole site is very dog friendly and the beach is only a 10 min walk away... we loved the beach and the free swimming (bookable) was good too. Thank you
Comfortable and clean Lodge. Having stayed at lodges before, it was wonderful to find to two tall lamps in the living room area. Two of us craft in an evening, so this was perfect. We made good use of the ceiling fan during the heatwave, it really helped to cool us all down. Nice to have some empty cupboards in the kitchen, as I bring some food with me due to having coeliac disease, it made a change being able to put it away. Amazing lodge with plenty of room for two of us with two dogs. The lodge contains everything you need and more. Customer service with anchor bay holidays is always first class. We booked this again straight away and can’t wait to come back
Lovely holiday home in a great location for quiter family breaks, still with some ammenities such as a shared pool, tennis court, shop, pub etc. Fun for young children in the small on site arcade too. Paddy’s Corner is a spacious, modern property, light and bright. We really enjoyed our stay!

Gingerbread cottage was a lovely cottage it had everything you needed. However the bay was rather lacking in things for the children to do. For the size of the place the play park was disappointing. The children loved the swimming pool but apart from that there was nothing for them to do. I found it very tired and in need of some upgrading. It felt more like a retirement village than a holiday park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean retreat. We would love to stay here again. I’ve never been in a holiday home with so much crockery and glassware. Everything was just perfect.

We have stayed at Nantucket cottage a number of times previously and this time it was just as good if not better! New air fryer was very useful, lots of hooks on back of doors and a light in the walk in wardrobe have all been added and made it even more comfortable and convenient. The cottage has been regularly maintained and appears to have had a recent fresh coat of paint. The bed is very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. A nice apartment to stay a good location handy for Filey about a hour stroll away and it’s dog friendly in all restaurants and pubs
I booked this for my elderly aunt and uncle who were struggling to find somewhere to stay. It was exactly what they needed and more. They loved the gadgets but would have loved a guide book on how to use the oven, microwave and Ninja kettle. My uncle couldn’t sit on the sofa as it was too low for him so he had to sit in a hard backed chair. He is 86. They also found some damage on the inside of the wardrobe when they were packing up to go but no record of it , so they recorded it in a book anyway. But they had a lovely few days with us for my dad’s memorial.
We had a lovely stay just like been at home with all the appliances I have mobility issues however we found a chair for the shower which was a added bonus. Really peaceful stay and would definitely return thanks
Lovely cottage, spotless & equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great location in the village with outside seating on both sides of the cottage so we could always sit outside in the sun! Just a short walk to Filey beach & we used the swimming pool on site every day. We would definitely return & stay here again.

We had a great stay at oyster cottage. The bay Filey is a great place - close to beach in a beautiful location. We had stayed in another cottage previously. Loved the massive windows in the bedrooms and the house lay out was fab. Location was ok, but as the site has been expanded it doesn’t have the view it would have had previously. Plenty of parking. Was disappointed it didn’t have an outside bbq facility - but we had friends staying on another cottage who did. 6 of us stayed for 3 nights and found it to be a fantastic house, very comfortable indeed. In a lovely quiet location with parking. Only 2 small niggles, wifi was intermittent to smart tv & lack of a bin in upstairs house bathroom. We had a great time, I would recommend Dragonfly.
We have stayed at Honeybee Cottage before and at the Bay several times so the children feel at home immediately. The cottage is ideally placed and is well stocked with everything you need for a great break.
We had a wonderful stay in shell cottage with our 3 children . A well stocked comfortable home in a great location. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and the beach is just unrivalled. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials.
The property is very clean (although the oven could do with a good scrub) comfortable, well equipped and ideally situated. A short but steep walk to the beach, a short drive to a decent sized supermarket in Filey, and only 10 miles from Bridlington. I'd recommend a visit to Sewerby Hall and Bondville Model Village which are next door to each other on the outskirts of Bridlington. My only slight niggle is being provided with white towels but being told that they are not to be used to remove make up. Stayed at The Bay quite a few times with family and friends. Always been a great stay. Accommodation was superb as always. Everything is thought through and nothing is left to chance. The decor and soft furnishings are always immaculate and tasteful. Bedding and towels are quality. The whole site is upmarket and well looked after. Whether you’re off exploring and like the direct access to the beach or staying onsite to BBQ you really won’t be disappointed. There’s also quality outdoor furniture too. Very good value for money, exceptionally clean and functional. Everything was in top working order. We struggled with the very soft bed but other than that enjoyed the stay.
Property was very comfortable and well equipped with patio doors onto the terrace which was great in the the nice weather. The Bay is a short walk from a sweeping beach which is ideal for walking into Filey. Good communication with owner and clear instructions received in advance.
We've stayed in many cottages at the bay over the last 5 years and are never disappointed. Home from home quality. I wrote a couple of repairs needed in the comments book only to help the next person to have a comfortable stay.
The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had up to date appliances and furniture. Could do with a little table and lamp in the smaller bedroom between the beds. It’s located near enough to the facilities but tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. We had a great stay and would definitely book again.
Well equipped lodge, including Tassimo machine, air fryer, electric fan and even a electric fly zapper! But not perfect. Wardrobe doors very stiff. Very easy to bang your legs on the bed in bedroom 1. Overly complicated microwave. We were supplied with 1 bath sheet and 3 bath towels. But all these were just niggles. We enjoyed our stay and overall was very happy with the lodge.
The reason for scoring 4 for comfort is that we all found the sofas uncomfortable, the reason for scoring 4 for cleanliness is that there were cobwebs on the inside of the patio doors so could not score a 5, everything else was great!
Everything was as expected, clean and airy. Almost everything you need. Beds comfortable and spacious shower room. Would have liked a couple of items there such as basic condiments, 1 j cloth or sponge to start. Also egg cups! Overall would recommend and return but need to replace key box as difficult and temperamental
Really enjoyed our stay at Walker’s Way. Clean, spacious property with everything you need. Close to the amenities but not so they disturb you and right next to the gate to walk down to the coast. Outside furniture could do with a little TLC but otherwise can’t fault.
Kibble tree is a lovely little cottage not too far from sewerby. Very peaceful and with everything you need for a stay.
We had been planning to visit for years to the Bay and now wish we had visited sooner. A fantastic base and house with no complaints. The unexpected addition of Wii and board games was a bonus and this should be advertised more as it was great family fun. For a long weekend family break we would 100% recommend. Also explore Flamborough Lighthouse and Selwicks Bay - one of the most beautiful places in the UK we have seen.
Lovely cottage and superb location with a pub, swimming pool/gym, chemist and ‘village’ store a short walk away. Access to the beach is also just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The cottage itself is well furnished and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. We are return visitors to Snowdrop cottage and will definitely be coming back again.
We had a good week at Maris Cottage, it was our second stay on The Bay and with Anchor bay holidays. The location was great for us, though it is a bit of a walk to the beach from this particular property. It is close to walks around the wildflower meadows and lodges which was good for the dogs. The downstairs bedroom came in very useful for my Father in Law who is struggling with long-term illness. Plenty of communication by text and e mail before our arrival. First impression on arrival was that the village and house were perfect. Immaculately maintained grounds. House was immaculate and spotlessly clean. It was a proper house, modern, well equipped, well laid out and with spacious rooms. The whole site felt very safe and it was very quiet. Well worth a visit
We recently had a lovely stay with our toddler grandaughter. Great, clear communications from the owners. The cottage was clean and very well equiped with everything you could need. Even had children's cutlery, plates, high chair and stair gate. Good size living area and spacious bedrooms with plenty room for the travel cot. Grassed area out the back bi fold doors for the little one to safely run around on. Easy walk to the leisure facilities, pub, shop etc, and short walk to the beach path. The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality. The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.
Ww enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Some of the crockery in the kitchen was well used, especially dinner plates and could benefit from being replaced.
Easy Bay cottage is an excellent place comfy beds beautifully decorated all crockery and cutlery for 8 people and more .Ideally situated. Very light and airy with lots of space.we were there form Friday to Monday as a multi generation family fun was had by all.would highly recommend
Had a wonderful few days away in beautiful Filey - to escape the blistering heat ! Lake and Tide lodge was perfect for me , my husband and our 2 dogs- 2 lovely bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lovely open plan living area with bi- gild doors out onto the decking which overlooks the lake. We enjoyed watching the wildlife every day as we sat and sipped a cool glass of something in the sun outside. Lovely comfortable and well equipped Lodge with toys and games for adults, children and dogs. It's in a good position, not too far from the beach and main facilities but still quiet and relaxing. Could be even better if a small welcome pack was provided including dish cloth, washing up liquid and soap for short break customers who don't want to have to buy these for just a few days stay.
The location to amenities and surounding vllages was good . The house was very good with most stuff you might need provided. We would stay again . My only comment would be that on the whole house was clean but the blinds in kitchen lounge and bathroom very dusty not just a weeks worth dust in my opinion so I would suggest they get those cleaned. Then I would score higher than 3 .
The property is in a great location with sea view and balcony which made it extra special. There is a lovely large grass area behind the property and also only a short walk to the pub/shop and beach access. There was ample seating inside the property in the lounge and dining area and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed including a washer dryer and dishwasher. The outside furniture was a little worn with being next to the sea and could do with replacing. Cottage was perfect for a short break as a family with the dog. Great location, so close to the beach and a clifftop walk. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few nights away. Good to be able to use the pool too.
Really enjoyed our 2 weeks at Our House in The Bay. We have stayed at numerous properties in this location over the years, this property stands out from those due to being so close to the beach path. The only downside is that the property could do with some general maintenance and better cleaning. These issues didn’t affect our stay though and most of the properties at The Bay we have stayed in are needing the same.
Disappointed with cleanliness in living area and kitchen. Very dusty. Felt like it needed a thorough clean and polish. Would benefit from new place mats and coasters as these were stained. Table was chipped and might look better with a tablecloth. Opening the doors was difficult as the key stuck and the cover kept separating from the base. Used hand towels were still in the property and no bin liners were in any of the bins. Plunger behind bathroom tap not working.
