Our stay at Cairnfield was enjoyable. The furniture and beds are comfortable and it had everything we needed. The information and assistance we received prior to booking and throughout our stay was excellent. The house was particularly cold on our arrival but warmed up after a couple of days. I understand that we were the first to rent the house this year. The garden was delightful, especially being able to watch the family of Highland cows. Lovely return visit to Balnagore. We have been addicted to this house for 26 years and it never loses its magic. Very peaceful setting. Great views over fields and hills but our favourite view is from the window above the sitting room fire looking across the sea to Kintyre. The downstairs bedroom is lovely within an incredibly comfortable bed. The house was exceptionally clean. Laura and Nick are wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend the walks from the house to the standing stones and Kings Cave.
