A beautiful lodge with all we hoped for and more. Super clean and comfortable. Lovely location with good walks on the doorstep, perfect!
Could not fault this lodge. Absolutley stunning and excellent location, 2 min walk into Bowness and overlooking the lake. Very modern inside, jacuzzi bath, dishwasher, tv's in bedrooms and en-suite bathroom in master room. We were pleasantly suprised that there was a decorated christmas tree in the lodge. Love love loved our weekend and will definatley return to Beech hill in the spring.
We had a lovely stay at High Borrans. Location was perfect as it was only a short drive to Windermere town and surrounding areas. It was a short distance from many walks and hikes that we did. The lodge itself was very cosy (especially when the fire was on) and bed was super comfy! The area was really nice- situated on a farm, and our lodge was the last one on the left so the view was lovely in the mornings. The only minor issue we had was with the WiFi- it didn’t work one evening when we arrived back at the lodge, which wasn’t a problem really.. but once we had turned it on and off a couple o...more
I was going to use the Sheperds Hut as a base to do some walking around the lakes. Unfortunately by the time I got there I was unwell so I spent all my time in the hut and to say I really enjoyed it is an understatement. It’s the perfect little getaway if you need some solitude. I Netflix and chilled. Great small break and I’ll be back.
A wonderful lodge, spotless, luxurious, very large with everything we needed. Would love to come again as we had a brilliant stay, thanks so much.
Absolutely fantastic break in the Lakes. This lodge had everything you could ever want. We have stayed in Lodges before and they were not half as well equipped as this one. They really had everything, even de-icer and screen wash which was welcome in December. The welcome pack was a lovely extra.
Osprey’s Nest was a brilliant lodge that had an immense homely feeling to it and was accompanied with its own dedicated WiFi which allowed us to stream Netflix at night on the full HD smart TV. We didn’t want to leave on the Sunday and we are definitely planning on making a return to Osprey’s Nest!
Great location great views easy to get to and find will almost certainly be back for another stay .
Our second stay in this lovely lodge, nice quiet location , everything of a high standard although few things showing signs they'd had better days particularly the bed mattresses which were uncomfortable and a few cosmetic bits here and there but as a dog friendly accommodation its top notch.
Lodge was exceptionally comfortable, situated within a beautiful area and central to all places. Will be staying again!
This is a superb lodge which is situated in a lovely position, both in the park and also for visiting surrounding areas. The lodge itself is spotless, comfy, spacious and very well equipped. The outside decking is a perfect place to sit, loved having breakfast outside, and the hot tub is the perfect end to the day.
Esthwaite is in a beautiful location, with the sound of running water relaxing you throughout your stay. The accommodation is most welcoming with every need catered for. There''s plenty of walking information for the more energetic to a drawer full of DVDs should you decide to have a 'chill' day. It really is a home from home and a fantastic base for exploring the local countryside.
Comfortable stay, well equipped kitchen and lovely decking area. Great location to explore the lakes situated near the start of the kirkstone pass.
We wanted a nice relaxing, quiet getaway in the outdoors where we could take the dog and enjoy the luxury of a cosy lodge and hot tub! Fell Foot Lodge provided us with all of these qualities. The lodge is very modern, hot tub was perfect after being out and about all day walking the local area. The site is well situated; approximately a 20 minute drive from Ambleside / Rydal Caves. 10 mins to Bowness on WIndermere and about 30 minute drive to Aira Force and Ullswater. There are a couple of pubs abut a 10-15 minute walk up the lane. The Queens Head which we walked upto about three times to e...more
As this was our 7th time at Limefitt we thought we’d stay somewhere new. We weren’t disappointed. The cleanest of dog friendly lodges we’ve stayed in- couldn’t fault it. Didn’t smell even remotely doggy as others have. All the little touches were appreciated. We asked prior to booking if we could take our 3 dogs. No problem. The owner had even left out 3 matching water bowls. My only regret about booking Buena Vista is that it wasn’t in summer- the decking had enough seating for a football team. A brilliant space to enjoy the fabulous views. We can’t wait to book again.
The lodge was very spacious this was our second time at limefit and this one was much larger than the previous one. It's is very comfortable, cozy and spotless. Good quality bedding and towels, my only comment would be it could do with larger bath towels but small ones do seem to be the norm wherever you stay these days. Everything is there you could possibly need including washing up stuff. Now what makes it amazing the most is the view from the decked area and listening to the running of the stream. For what we paid it was a absolute bargin. I will most definitely be back nex...more
Wonderful little Lodge, spent 2 nights here with my partner. Very cute, very quiet. Windemere is about 10 minutes away. It is a working farm and there is a dog that comes to say hello
Booked my stay at Ewe View, to have a week away with my better half, friend, and our two dogs. Arrived on Monday, and was an extremely easy process. Kitchen was well equipped, and clean. The only cleaning items missing that could have come in useful would be a mop of some description for the vinyl flooring. Had to travel to Kendal to get a weeks worth of food and such - expected due to where we were staying. Towels provided for both showering, and use of the hot tub, which was brilliant. Hot Tub chemicals were checked and such on the Friday, and caused no issues. TV and DVD player bot...more
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Owls House. It was very well furnished and furbished. We had everything we needed. Perfect weekend away.
We have just returned from a mon-fri stay at Helm Cragg on Limefitt Park. Really enjoyed it, the lodge is perfect, clean and comfortable. It's very spacious and easily accommodated 4 adults and a youngster, who slept on our own blow up bed. Perfectly located on the site, we could actually see the pub! Very quiet site, no entertainment for the chn, other than special events the pub puts on, like a movie night under the stars - which was lovely! Pub does great food and adventure play area is great too. Lodge had everything you would want, so would definitely recommend a stay here.
Returning visitors to this fantastic lodge and nice to find its still in great shape plus this year had xmas decorations and a tree set up you cannot beat its the postion near the lake and the bliss of using the hot tub to ease the strain of a days walking.Hopefully we'll be back next year.
We had a lovely time a cottontail lodge, it was very clean and comfortable. The beds were amazing to sleep in. The location of the lodge is perfect for exploring Windermere and other towns. I would definitely recommend cottontail lodge or booking with laksdistrict lodge holidays, it is very resonablly priced. We will definitely be booking again.
From arrival to leaving staff working at the park were friendly, approachable and helpful. The lodge we stayed in was modern, upkeep excellent, would recommend to friends and family, will be returning, hot tub added bonus. Plenty of information about what is available around the area eg walks and cosy pubs.
We stayed at Somerford Lodge for 4 nights in November. The lodge was exceptionally clean and modern with every need catered for. We loved the extra touches like blankets on the sofas for cosy nights, not that we really needed them as the lodge was so warm and snug. We made the most of the hot tub and went in in the evenings after our little boy had gone to bed. The location is perfect for exploring, we had great days out to Bowness, Windermere and Grasmere. We’re already thinking of our next trip to the lodge as it really was a home from home.
I'll begin by saying that our short break was fantastic. We had a great time. So clean, very homely. Our 6 year old boy was crying when we left because he wanted to stay so much. Everything was great apart from one or two things. Firstly the double mattress was soft and we both prefer a firmer mattress so by the end of the 4th night I was waking with a slightly stiff back. Secondly, my partner and I both got bitten and felt a little itchy around the lodge. We didn't have the windows open. The children were unaffected. I don't know if the itchiness was due to the time of year and being...more
Beautiful location and a fabulous short stay retreat. Would highly recommended to people looking for a relaxing stay
Lovely lodge spaceous, went with our little dog the lodge was gated off so he was able to run around the lodge and explore.
the lodge was very clean and tidy when we arrived, the lodge was fantastic, very cosy and warm. the hot tub was superb, we could not fault anything while we stayed at selamat lodge, would definitely stay again. thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful lodge. keith and paula from Blackburn xxx.
Myself, my partner and our German shorhaired pointer stayed in Herdwick Lodge, it was a fantastic lodge fully equipped with everything you need (despite us packing everything just in case). Lodge was in a perfect spot looking across the fields at the mountains, it was clean and very comfortable. We have already recommended it to friends and family and hope to come back again!
It was amazing lodge so clean and bright. And very comfortable and plenty of space. And full of everything you needed in the lodge. The jacuzzi was fantastic and so private in that area which I found great. We would definitely come back to your lodges again. There were just a couple of things. The key for front door could do with a key ring on it has I dropped it and went though the decking, and the kitchen tap needs looking at it splashes everywhere. and we couldn’t get the hot water and heating working right but after a quick phone call to LAKE DISTRICT HOLIDAY LODGES We got it working. Also...more
My husband and I stayed with our 1 year old son. The lodge is in a great location. It was clean, has a fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer, towels and some complimentary soaps etc. - everything you need for your stay. The hot tub was great, it also had an umbrella which was really useful as it rained the whole time. We brought our own travel cot which would only fit in the entrance to the main bedroom (we were advised of this when booking) so my husband and I slept in the second bedroom, the room was really cosy and the bed was comfortable. The only problem we encountered was that t...more
I stayed at High Borrans with my fiance on a short 2 night break, we both found it fantastic and would definitely recommend it. The quality of the lodge and everything in it was brilliant.
An excellent Lodge in a key location. Clean, modern, well equipped and a real treat. Perfect for a short break.
Home from home comforts at valley view lodge with Lakeland views & walks , the hot tub was a hit with all our party . There’s also a great pub nearby & pony trekking just off site . Overall a fantastic stay in the comfbeautiful lake district.
We can not fault fellhaven we had a lovely stay lodge was so clean and tidy beds were so comfortable. This was our second stay at fellhaven and we notice they have made a lot of inprovement to the bathroom. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Hopefully we will be back soon
This was the 2nd time staying at this lodge and everything was good, but the only thing I will complain about was that the pub onsite (Haybarn Inn) was shut at 9pm on a Saturday night. My partner and I booked this lodge because of the convenience of there being an onsite pub and for it to be closed so early with no notice was extremely disappointing. We tried to contact customer services about it and it resulted in us speaking to the warden who promised us we would get a phone call the next day from someone else. That call never happened. Very disappointing. We paid full price for the lodge so...more
Booking was easy. The welcome text message on the day of travel was great. The lodge was perfect well stocked clean, and with an amazing view. Will be booking again. Highly recommended.
We booked Rydal lodge as a surprise break for my mother in law. Brilliant communication beforehand, the lodge was really clean and beautifully decorated. The owners had even put the Christmas tree up before our arrival adding to the winter feel. Excellent facilities and a really comfy lodge. The lodge is within walking distance to Bowness and Windermere. I’d definitely recommend! Thank you for a fab little break!
We will be staying here again, it was perfect location and lovely and clean. Perfect for a long weekend
Had the most fantastic weekend with family. The lodge was first class in every way. It was so comfortable, extremely clean, and everything you could wish for at hand. The beds were extremely comfortable and the weather was perfect. Spending the weekend with our Great Granddaughter, who was four months that weekend, and her Mum and Dad was just magical and made more wonderful due to the lodge being like home from home. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you. Hope to be back next year. Eddie and Gina Taylor Jordan, Tea and Lillie-Grace Williams November 2017
We had a lovely relaxing break with family, the lodge was very cosy, warm & comfortable. There was everything we needed but would have been better to have more settee seating as there was 5 adults & a child and somebody had to sit on a stand chair.
We had a lovely winter break in this lodge, the location is ideal for Ambleside, Windermere, Bowness etc. It was ideal for us, our little boy enjoyed the park, swimming pool, and chasing after the ducks by the lake. The lodge was clean, and had all the facilities we needed. We will be back!
We have just stayed in lakeside lodge 4 adults two children aged 3 and 4 and two boxer dogs! Absolutely lovely spacious modern lodge with beautiful views of the lake! Tv in every room which helped when the girls wanted to get up early and watch kids tv in bed haha! The tv in the master room may i suggest bring lower down onto a bracket in the corner above the locked cupboard as you can't even see the screen lay down! We booked purely for a chill out as i am 7 months pregnant so wasnt up to going on the long walks we previously did last time! Hot tub was amazing and the kids loved it too! Only ...more
We had a fabulous relaxing weekend away. We got there late on Friday and when we arrived the lodge was ready. It looked really cosy on entering and was warm. We had a lovely weekend relaxing with friends.
I booked this break for a long weekend with family. Love the Lake District and this park was ideally located for Boness and Windemere. The lodge was just as it looked in the photos and immaculate. . Everything but the food you needed was supplied. Great site with a park for the kids. The pub on site served excellent food. Would book again.
Enjoyed lodge very much .it was very nicely laid out and loved the hot tub.was nice and peaceful location would love to do it again sometime.
Great base for the lakes, cosy lodge, kids loved the hot tub, really relaxing and laid back ,enjoy relax and don't moan about things that don't matter dirty Windows really !! You know who you are .defo going back
Really really enjoyed the stay...i will suggest this to everyone i know!!!! Limefitt park was absolutley perfect, as was the Latterbarrow Lodge. Thanks again :)
The decision to stay at Mountain View in mid-November was very last minute, and the booking took place only 4 days prior to our scheduled arrival. Despite this, the team were excellent in handling my booking and catering for our needs prior to arrival. The lodge was in excellent condition when we arrived and was the perfect place for our first visit to the Lake District. The location of the site is ideal for visiting the local towns of Ambleside and Windermere and the views on a clear Autumn morning were perfect. Whilst the flooding hampered our ability to enjoy some of the walks we had antici...more
Everything was excellent, only issue we had was the wifi is pretty poor but that might be a good thing Thanks Keith
Lovely cabin, it had everything you would need including free wi-fi (which the kids were made up with). The hot tub was a great extra. A great weekend break!
Fantastic location, beautiful well equipped lodge very comfortable .hot tub amazing just what you need after a long walk.
Good location, less than a 10 minute drive into Windermere town centre and Lake. The Lodge has easy access to some lovely walks, wellies were preferred to walking boots because of the mud and time of year (late November). We will definitely return.
We stayed for 2 nights and it was excellent. This is the 3rd time staying at this park and this lodge is fantastic. It was clean, tidy, cosy and had christmas decorations up too!! Would definitely recommend it 100%!
Absolutely loved my weekend at this lodge. We got to the lodge late so it was dark, when we woke up we were surrounded by stunning views. I have recommended this lodge to a few people and would definitely return.
Sunnybank is an excellent and modern lodge with everything you need for a comfortable break. It is well located to explore the surrounding area and the site it is on is well equipped and in wonderful surroundings. The lodge itself has some lovely views. The leisure centre to which you have access is also a nice place if you want to go for a swim (have a small padlock for the lockers).
Very well equipped, clean and comfortable lodge, ideal location particularly ideal for walking and dog owners, would certainly visit again.
Lodge was really good but the pub on site had to wait over one and a half hours for our food with still no sign of it arriving so we walked away with empty stomach, and had to stay cooking gone 10 o'clock at night.
We had a 3 night stay - Thirlmere Lodge was beautiful and was in a great location on the park. Used the bar on the Friday - good facility there.
lovely lodge , excellent location , very enjoyable few days away , will definitely be returning thank you
This was our first time as a family on the Lake District and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect location. Just a short drive to Windermere, Ambleside and Bowness and within walking distance to Brockhole (a fantastic day out for all the family). The lodge itself felt a real treat. It was spotlessly clean, kitted out with everything you’d need for your stay. It was cosy and warm to come home to after a blustery day on the lake. Our kids wanted to move in ! Would definitely book this lodge again. :)
Loved the lodge, exactly what we was looking for. Nice quiet spot, lovely interior with a nice warm cosy feel. Loved the hot tub! Stunning location. Would definitely come again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Striding Edge (sorry for the late review!) We came as a family of 4 with 2 children aged 5 and 2 1/2. It was so nice to get away all together, into the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District. The cabin is so private and is in a really great spot. It was quiet and secluded. The cabin is decorated really nicely, is comfortable and practical. Beds were comfy too! We liked the open plan of the kitchen, dining and sitting room. Great to be altogether and not in seperate rooms. The hot tub was amazing. Even the kids enjoyed it! Our only suggestion would be for some...more
We booked this lodge for the second time as we were so impressed the first time we stayed. We were pleased with the redecoration of much of the lodge which has been tastefully done. The lodge is very comfortable and nice and warm after days out. We did experience an issue on the first night of our stay in that the twin room had wet patches on the beds. We hadn't noticed this until we went to get into bed at around 11.30pm but despite the late hour I can only commend the night reception staff who dealt with the matter promptly. We are looking forward to a return visit and would recommend thi...more
We stayed a lot in the Lake District but this time ith was a lovely break like always but the lodge was not what we aspected Very outdated, not clean outside and the deck was very dangerous for the little ones this lodge can use a lot of Work! There is even carpet in the bathroom that is disgusting We come definitely back to the Lake District but not to this lodge.
We’ve been booking this lodge for the last few years and we love it here! The lodge is so cosy and we love the hot tub - it feels so secluded! The location of the holiday is ideal between Ambleside and Bowness. Looking forward to coming back next year!
Will be going again for sure. Our dogs loved it just as mich as we did. The lodge was out of this world. Beautiful. Immaculate and it had EVERYTHING we could of needed for a month stay.
We stayed in the Neildan Lodge which was in a perfect location on the park, and the parks location is right near the Beatrix Potter museum. We arrived Friday night and didn't use the car until we drove home Monday. The lodge is so cozy and has everything you need, we had such a good weekend and highly recommend. We will definitely book here again.
Pros: Scenery, Quiet site, Situation was perfect Cons: Too expensive for a week. Mirror needed in small bedroom.
The lodge is warm comfortable and very well equipped. Able to take our little dog but but able to go in the bar on site with her. This meant we were unable to use on site facility and went out instead. Understandable that can't leave dogs in lodges as would maybe bark and disturb other residents but loss of revenue for white cross bay and would therefore prefer to stay in a cottage in village in future. Would recommend the mortal man in troutbeck for views and food!
A fantastic Lodge in the middle of a brilliant resort. Took the girlfriend away for the weekend as it was her 30th. The park is between 2 lovely villages to go for a walk round. Once inside the lodge you wouldn't have known it wasn't house as it is so well built. Ill be honest and say its probably a little too expensive than what i'd normally pay but seen as tho she was 30 i didn't mind. Was very cold when we stayed which made it better for getting into the hot tub and enjoying being warm whilst out in the cold. Highly recommended.
Brilliant time at the lodge ! Instruction for the hot tub could be more in depth as we had to go online for instructions. we activated the Sleep and economic mode by mistake which wouldn't allow the hot tub to heat up to the temp we wanted.
My wife and I had a lovely stay at the lodge. It was extremely well appointed and very comfortable. All our needs were catered for and it provided an excellent base to enjoy the lake district. After our stay we decided that hiring a lodge was infinitely preferable to a hotel room, which we had done in the past, so we will definitely return to White Cross Bay. The hot tub was a particularly nice addition to the lodge's amenities and added to the enjoyment of our stay.
Stayed for 4 nights with my boyfriend was lovely and quiet. Lodge was fully equipped and cosy. 100% recommend
We have stayed at Jinnyspinner many times before. It is our favourite lodge and we shall keep coming back!
We visited in October half term with our 3 year old daughter, 5 month old son and Irish setter dog and had a lovely stay. The lodge is as good as it is on the photographs. Very comfortable with attention to detail from the owners excellent.
Are stay at woodmere lodge was an excellent week hot tub at the end of a walking day around the lakes was lovely everything we needed was in the lodge we also bought my mum with us who thoughley enjoyed it well maintained and very clean witch we like brilliant escape from it all will definitely book this lodge again. Sandra and Gerry
I booked and stayed at this lodge through Lakedistrict holidays. We found the park without difficulty, the setting / location itself is magnificent. Upon arrival to the park we reported to reception where a friendly staff member gave us instructions, directions and general information. The lodge on the whole was well presented (asides from some points raised below) and our experience was enjoyable. The sunken hot tub is a fantastic feature and adds to the enjoyment. The lodge is nicely decorated with a functional kitchen. This was a dog friendly cabin, it was secure with a fence...more
We had a fab time in this beautiful lodge which was immaculately clean and well set out, it had everything we needed and everything worked as it should, it was cosy and warm and in a lovely location, the hot tub which was nicely screened was very welcome after a long walk, we bought bird food and filled up the bird feeder and sat back and watched the birds flock to it, We would definitely stay at Lily Tarn again it's a beautiful lodge on a very lovely site.
Lovely and warm lodge, good position, lodge not as clean as year before, oven very greasy, knife block greasy, pull along Hoover taped up not working properly, light in hall not working, radiator in bathroom leaking, dripping in a plastic cup, lamp shades loose, fitted sheet on double bed all creased, looked like it had been slept in, cheap dish cloth cut in half. Nothing to clean with, spray bleach, window spray etc. Will not be staying in this lodge again.
I can't recommend this property too highly. Everything about it was wonderful. I would go again tomorrow!
Fab lodge great location very clean hot tub a pure advantage close to lots of amenities we had a great time
Brillaint had a little accident with the bench collapsing on the kids but other then that brillaint stay
Lovely stay at Fir Trees Lodge over the half term. Quiet location yet close to the bar/restaurant/reception/shop. On site shop is not very big. Plenty of entertainment on over the half term. Bar staff excellent and area kept very clean. About 1 mile to Brockhole, excellent day out. 2 mile to Bowness. Would recommend and would stay again
Unfortunately, our experience at the lodge was poor due to the fact we were told on the day we were arriving that the hot tub was not going to be working. We travelled up from the south coast and were contacted 4 hours into our journey and offered a full refund if we no longer wanted to stay or £100 compensation. The frustrating part was that we were told that they were aware of the fault on the Monday and did not contact us until our arrival day on the Friday to let us know. They were hoping the part that needed changing would have been fixed on the Friday, however the incorrect part was s...more
Excellently located in a tranquil beautiful area. The lodge was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful stay.
Our family stayed in Yew tree lodge during September and one of our children is a young baby. The baby essentials we requested for our arrival were available when we arrived. The lodge was maintained and presented beautifully, its location is in a lovely spot on the holiday site nestled in some trees (which gave it that extra charm). We really enjoyed the cosy evenings in this lodge and when faced with a slight issue with the bolier Lake District Lodges team attended to this straight away and made sure it was fixed. Customer service was excellent. Communication on the run up and after our sta...more
My partner and I wanted a quiet relaxed break where we could take our dog. Badgers Rest at Limefitt Park was perfect for us. The lodge was very comfortable and very well equipped, it was like home from home. The views from the lodge were beautiful and being self catering we could eat in or out depending how we felt. The parks amenities were good with a pub The Haybarn from which we had a couple of meals that we took away to eat in the lodge. There was a reception with small shop that was very handy. The park had a lot of open areas to walk the dog. A lovely holiday which we would highly re...more
Great log cabin, we’ve stayed in this once twice and it has everything you need! Lovely location and very smart cabin.
We had a great stay however had some issues with the grill not turning on and the oven taking a long time to cook food. The gas fire was also tricky to put on occasionally. However the lodge was otherwise in excellent condition, very clean, well equipped and set up to provide maximum comfort with a great selection of DVDs and games/jigsaw puzzles to do.
As the title suggests, we have stayed here before and enjoyed it just as much this time. Some new updates in the cabin and very welcome too. The location is excellent with easy access to the lake which is ideal for walking our two dogs. Hot tub was fantastic and well used over our stay. The only down side was the mattress in the main bedroom which needs replacing desperately. We would still recommend and it easily sleeps six adults comfortably. Would recommend the Spar at the garage just before the entrance from Windermere if you need your beer fridge topping up as they have a fantastic select...more
Beautiful lodge in a nice spot. Family enjoyed the hot tub. Only negative was the decking as although there are some anti slip strips going to the door the rest of the decking becomes like ice once wet. I think someone could have a serious fall so would be better to coat the decking of have the anti slip strips all over. Beautifully done inside with everything we needed.
After several visits to whitecross bay we decided to hire a lodge closer to the water front. Although the lodge is in an amazing location it is extremely overpriced for the state that the lodge is in. It is extremely tired and needs a lot of tlc both inside and outside. The decking is so slippy and the gate rotted (not good when advertised as dog friendly) The lodge was nice and big but it needs an extremely deep clean and a complete revamp in all areas kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms as it’s very worn and tired. This did not spoil our stay we would still return to white cross bay we just ...more
Skiddaw Lodge We have stayed on the site many times but it was out first stay in Skiddaw. The lodge is positioned in a nice quite parr of the site, it nicely in lovely pine trees. Room for 2 cars 1 at the side and 1 at the front. A nice size decked balcony with a table and 4 chairs, and also has mesh on the deck to help stop slipping. The kitchen is equipped ok, has a small dishwasher and a good sized fridge and freezer. The shower in the en-suite is really good and powerful, and the bathroom has a good sized corner bath. I'm sure anyone staying at Skiddaw will have a good stay. Fallborrow...more
Dirty old and musty ruined our short break. The lodge was run down and needed a deep clean all through the furniture was tired and carpets curtains and cushions smelt . Rails hanging off the walls rusty en-suite shower dirty grout . The oven was thick in grease as a result filled the lodge with smoke and set smoke alarm off. Dirty beds and bedding . A never ending list of faults
