We arrived at the lodge on the afternoon of 28th December 2018, and were greeted with a real Christmas tree, twinkly lights on the decking, a bottle of fizz and box of biscuits from the owner, and Christmas cards from the owner and all the staff at Lake District Lodge Holidays! The lodge is lovely - very tasteful decor, comfortable, really well equipped (especially the kitchen), and is in a great location on the park. The lake is less than 100m away and the childrebs play area/club house etc are no more than 5 minutes walk away. The hot tub is amazing - it has fancy lights and mini fount...more
We all enjoyed the stay.It was refreshing, it felt so homely,so peaceful. The kids had a great time and we would definitely come back at the same lodge in the future.
It was our first experience renting lodge and it was great. This sprcfic lodge was in great condition . Extra clean and it looks someone has put their heart in putting together.
This was my wife & I's second stay at Limefitt and third consecutive year in the Lakes using Park Dean Resorts . This Lodge was in immaculate condition , excellent location , tucked away at the top of a private cul de sac with glorious views from the decking . The Lodge was very airy and modern with every eventuality catered for . ( The sound quality of the docking station for my I-pod was brilliant ) . Well equipped kitchen ( although we were only there for 3 nights so ate out during the daytime ) and well suited to a medium sized family . Our little Westie , Poppy , settled in straight away ...more
This lodge was very clean very comfortable. The hot tub was great and the location was just right - it was very peaceful - it was also safe for the dogs with the decking having a locked gate would definately recommend.
This was our second stay this year at fallbarrow glade. We loved it so much the first time in the summer we had to come to back just before Christmas. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, there is nothing more you could ask for and it is absolutely immaculate. Location wise it is fantastic, just a short walk to bowness, facilities on site are great too. Again another lovely welcome pack which is so thoughtful. Thank you also for putting the Christmas tree up. Was a lovely touch and delighted my young girls. We will be back for visit three very soon. Thank you for an amazing start to ou...more
We had a wonderful stay at high borrans farm. The Lodge had everything we needed, for a very comfortable stay & was spotlessly clean. It is in a very good location to walk or explore the lakes. It was our first experience in a lodge, we enjoyed it so much we are returning in April next year.
High borrans is a beautiful place to stay and to switch off from the outside world of hustle and bustle Every single need is catered for, superb lodge, superb setting, very friendly, we will definitely return and we have already recommended high borrans to friends and family
We had a great weekend at Marina view lodge celebrating my father in law's 70th birthday. A truly outstanding luxury lodge with outstanding views over the lake. Thank you very much to the staff who provided all the balloons etc on our arrival. My father in law very much appreciated it. Would recommend this lodge to anyone & will hopefully return again soon.
Gorgeous location overlooking the lake (Windermere). A lovely lodge/cabin that is clearly well-maintained and very clean. So good, in fact, that we immediately booked it again for our summer holiday.
We had such a relaxing break in this beautiful lodge. Everything was immaculate and we were so comfortable. The position of the lodge was ideal, right on the riverbank and overlooking fields and hills. The balcony was a great place just to sit and relax while listening to the river bubbling past and enjoying the stunning views. We loved our stay at this lodge and hope to return next year.
Second time we have stayed at Esthwaite Lodge, first time was for a week 3yrs ago, this time just a 3 night break. Probably one of the cleanest lodges/cottages we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. Lovely and comfortable in a lovely setting and great decking area. I’m pretty sure we will visit again some time in the future, felt home from home.
Great stay in Hogh Borrans, quiet and relaxed in a great location with great facilities, had a perfect weekend in the Lake District
The Buena Vista lodge was fantastic, spotlessly clean with lovely decor throughout. The location of the lodge on site was great, right near the enclosed dog field and children’s playground so ideal for families. The site itself is in a great location, 10 minutes drive from Bowness so it was a great base for us for exploring round the Lakes. We also ate in the pub on site one day for lunch, lovely food & really cheap.
Second visit to this lodge. Unfortunately missed the free hamper- feel this should have been given to us without us applying for it. Did not see the email offer. Had a nice stay although the weather was appalling
Mere Lodge was cozy and comfortable even as weather was wild outside. Lodge was pristine as always. Thank you
For two 21 year olds, we can’t hide the fact we got a little bored. We bought some board games and our Xbox to pass the time. We took a trip into Grasmere and Kendal where there’s a few more things to do. (We highly recommend you try the Grasmere gingerbread, and the chocolate shop in Kendal!!) Customer service was ‘OK’ purely for the fact that we didn’t once see any member of staff during our stay. The lodge it’s self is so cosy and beautiful, and comes with everything you could possibly need, unless you’re some sort of culinary artist. All in all, this really was a relaxing get away. Great stay in hazel lodge, we loved it. It was really clean and cosy which was great. Perfect first holiday for us.
We had an amazing stay at elder lodge! Has all the facilities you need and sooo helpful that it had a washing machine! It was very clean and easy to find what you need ie kitchen utensils. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and have already recommended friends to go!
Me my partner and our two children had s long weekend here. The lodge was lovely! Can’t say nothing bad about it at all. It was immaculate and we loved it! It was a very home from home lodge and would highly recommend! The beds were so comfy too! Would definitely be returning here at home point.
This cabin was our very first cabin we stayed in some year back and it was great then and still is..
We had a fantastic weekend, the lodge was beautiful, very well equipped, it had everything you needed and more. We would certainly look to stay again.
Our stay at Somerford lodge was lovely. A beautiful lodge very clean. We would definitely return and tell our family and friends about this lovely lodge.
Had a fabulous weekend getaway to High Borrans Grove. The lodge was amazing, spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. Also very close to lake windermere/Grasmere for day trips. Would love to return in the spring for another stay. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay in the lodge. Location is beautiful, nice and peaceful but only a short car journey away to Windermere, Ambleside etc. Cabin is great, everything you need and the bath after a long day walking was fab! Our four legged very much enjoyed his first holiday and trip to the lakes - we’ll be back.
Excellent accommodation, very high standard throughout. Comfortable and warm. Sofa a little uncomfortable for any length of time. We especially enjoyed the Hot tub and the fact nobody was overlooking you. Good location. Will definitely be back
Went for a short weekend away. The lodge has everything you need and more. Was only a 5 min drive into windermere and great location, straight onto the lake! The hot tub was amazing, was already warm and ready to go in when we arrived on Friday night. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful week here - it was just my 6 year old daugher and I, as unfortunately our friends had to cancel last minute, so we had the whole place to ourselves! We have stayed at Limefitt before, but this lodge was much nicer than our previous one. Despite it being February, the lodge was cosy and warm. The views from the main living area are a pleasure to wake up to in the mornings, the park is peaceful yet has a good pub and play area for children, and there is loads to do in the local area. We hope to return with more people in tow next time!
I recently stayed at Selamat Lodge and it was the best trip I booked in ages. From day one of booking the customer service was fantastic right through to arriving and the small touch of leaving a bottle of wine for when I arrived. The place was well equipped and they really thought of everything. I had such an amazing time I’ve recommended the place already and looking to rebook again next year.
Second year staying in this excellent lodge. Very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Hot tub very relaxing. Great location, did not need to use the car. The site itself is very well looked after. Will be back next year.
We booked the Laughing Duck Lodge after a recommendation of the site from a work colleague. Booking through Lake District Lodge Holidays was easy and were informative and helpful throughout. The lodge itself was amazing, it was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of space for us 5 girls to utilise and everything you needed was available within. The hot tub was an added bonus to enjoy in spite of the rain and snowy conditions we had during our stay. It was a fabulous weekend, just a short taxi ride to Bowness or Ambleside and we are already planning our next stay!
Daffodils lodge is a beautiful modern lodge with a lovely homely feel . This was our first holiday with our newborn and it did not disappoint! The living space was large enough for all the baby bits without feeling cramped. The bedrooms were well decorated and the beds were comfortable. It had all the essentials and based in the most beautiful location. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
I would highly recommend White Cross Bay. Our Lodge was perfect. Nice and peaceful next to the water
Beautiful location and excellent accommodation. Lodge was so clean it was like new. Will definitely book again in the future.
Our second visit to Herdwick lodge in 3 years. Stunning location, And great lodge, Such a shame we won't be able to visit this particular lodge again as our little one will be over 2 years old, But we highly recommend Herdwick to anyone, Definitely a home from home.
Great lodge in a great location. I would recommend staying at the swallowdale lodge. Can’t waiit to return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Keswick lodge. The lodge itself was very clean, comfortable, modern and well equipped to a high standard. The views from the lodge were beautiful. It's location on Limefitt Park was fantastic, only a short drive to the popular visitor attractions and shops in Windermere and Ambleside. The park itself was tranquil and quiet, yet family friendly offering a good play area and a handy little shop for the essentials. We would definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends.
Had a great weekend in this Fabulous lodge. Outdoor space is amazing and we made full use of it with the gorgeous weather we had. Really comfy sofa and chairs on the south facing decking, we even had a barbecue. The park is so peaceful and very clean. The lodge itself is beautiful with 3 good sized bedrooms with very comfy beds. The large open plan lounge was perfect and the kitchen area was fab with all cooking facilities you could need, we didn’t even go out and made full use of the facilities in the lodge. Would highly recommend this lodge. Thank You for a wonderful stay.
Lovely lodge nice and clean felt like home, was nice to see Christmas decorations also. Would stay there again.
Tuck my partner for her birthday and lodge was amazing. We could not of asked for more. Thanks guys have
Our fifth break with Lake District Lodge Holidays. As usual the standard of their lodges was great. The lodge was clean and had all facilities to make it "home from home".
We stayed at Beech Hill for a week over New Year. We have stayed at Fallbarrow Park for many years in a privately rented lodge right on the lake but, we could not book that lodge for New Year so, we booked Beech Hill. I have to say we were not disappointed with our choice at all. The lodge was immaculately clean, very spacious given that there was a utility room and walk in wardrobe, very comfortable and tastefully decorated, they even had a Christmas tree up. The lodge was set back from the lake in a quiet, wooded area, with partial lake view, there was a steep hill to get to the lodge when w...more
Another great stay at this beautiful lodge. Could not fault a thing. Great location and immaculate throughout. Would not hestitate to stay again in the near future.
What a beautifully presented log cabin. Very tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you should need. Immaculately clean, fresh and cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break and highly recommend Helm Crag !
Lodge was very clean on arrival with everything as it should be. All the 'stuff' we needed was there and the optional hamper was delightful. The tea loaf lasted all of an hour. Staff at the resort were helpful although we didn't need the facilities as the lodge was pretty self-contained. We went before the half-term break so there was no 'entertainment' at the complex. We didn't miss it. We were glad that we went in a quiet period as there was not a great deal of space between the lodges and it would have felt a little 'crowded' if the lodges around us had been occupied. If you want pea...more
Stayed at Shoreside lodge at beginning of March and despite poor weather we had a great few days. A very clean and well equipped lodge in a fantastic location.
Amazing lodge with amazing views, the lodge was extremely clean and more than comfortable in a perfect setting.
I have stayed at Rydal before and loved it. Just a few little bits... Oven needs a deep clean. The mirror lights in bathrooms not working. The hot tub tv? Had trouble last time does it even have one? Freezer needs defrosting. TV & WIFI for the money you pay in any lodge a better TV package and WiFi be a good idea. Other than those little things we had a great stay. Will definitely return.
WIndermere Lodge was sparkling clean, extremely comfortable and in a wonderful position in Fallbarrow. We found the fixtures and fittings first class which added an extra dimension to the Lodge. It was light and spacious and everything looked and felt well cared for. We felt very lucky to have discovered such a "gem" and would like to thank the owners very much for allowing us to stay in their beautiful Lodge.
The lodge was great and in a perfect position overlooking the lake. It was tidy and had all the essentials needed for self catering. Lovely comfy sofas great for relaxing and plenty of space with three bedrooms to accommodate 4-6 people without feeling overcrowded.
We stayed at Limefitt park Sunny Bank lodge for a new year break. The location in the lakes was ideal and the lodge was beautiful and very comfortable with stunning views. We received a welcome pack on arrival at the lodge and it was decorated for the Christmas season, we thoroughly enjoyed our break and would definitely recommend.
Great stay at Damson Lodge in the lakes. Clean, comfortable, everything you needed in lodge and more. The hot tub was great for those cold days and nights. Excellent stay.
Troutbeck retreat is a superb spacious lodge, well equipped and very comfortable. The lodge was clean and in a good location on the park. The park was well maintained and has a dog field, the staff were very friendly. We have stayed at troutbeck retreat before and would go back again
We had a very enjoyable Christmas at Valley View - with all the home comforts we needed! The Christmas tree and other decorations provided helped make it very festive! We were extremely comfortable and were able to relax and enjoy a very Happy Christmas away from the stress and strain of everyday life, and no extended family to spoil it! Only the weather put a dampener on things a bit, but being in the Lake District, we did expect rain, but it was really just misty. Nonetheless when the sky was clear, the landscape was spectacular.
Sheffield Pike is a lovely 3 bed lodge but could be improved by upgrading the some of the kitchen equipment - for example, all the sharp knives (for food prep) were extremely blunt. There are oodles of wine glasses but not enough tumblers and no (child friendly) plastic tumblers or plastic plates. We were there with 3 children following a week in a smaller cottage (and much cheaper) in Wales where there was every kitchen utensil you could ask for, plastic cups and plates and an array of cooking dishes. I appreciate some people eat out all the time, but others don't and it is a self-catering ...more
Struggled to get out bearing to the lodge at first at wasn’t very well sign posted on site. But the lodge itself, was very well presented, very clean and tidy. Amazing hot tub, would certainly visited again or recommend it. Not many places to walk the dog. Had maintenance people turn up trying to take paint off the lodge early hours Monday morning which we hadn’t been told or aware of.
We enjoyed a 5 night stay over new year at Cedar Lodge we were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on arrival we had to get the hot tub looked at as it wasn’t heating up so that was unfortunate as we wanted to get straight in but a kind man servecing my sister in laws took a look and apparently the cleaning cycle was set to high (6 times a day) meaning the hot tub could only reach peak temp for minimum times so reduced the cleaning cycle to twice daily from then on the tub was a lovely temp consistently throughout the rest of our stay would have booked again for this year but it’s alre...more
Wonderful lodge in a quiet corner. Spacious and very clean. All home comforts making it a really enjoyable stay and could easily stay for a longer break. Beds very comfortable. Showers fab. Lots of outside space and a fab hot tub. Owners have put a lot of thought and effort in to making this a very desirable holiday home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Lovely weekend break, but could easily have stayed longer, lodge had everything we needed. We would stay in the white swan lodge again .
The Lodge was beautiful, very clean, cozy and excellent location. Lovely views and close to amenities and places to visit. We will definitely be coming again!
the only part that was disappointing was the lack of communication as to where works were being carried out and when. On one occasion when returning from a morning out we were unable to get to our cabin. When we went to spoke to front desk the lady did not believe us. This could have been improved by informing us that we wouldn’t have access by car for that day.
We spent Xmas in ramblers rest and it was lovely. Obviously the on site pub had holiday hours and sometimes no food available but we were pre warned and took plenty of provisions. Also the pub staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We spent time with other members of family who had also booked lodges. We’ve stayed at limefitt park a few times in different lodges and have enjoyed every one and hopefully will continue to do so .
We had a excellent stay at the lodge, beautiful location, facilities were brilliant. The hot was ready to go on arrival. I was really impressed with the little things that were in place such as a basket in the kitchen with tea, coffee biscuits, dishwasher tablets etc, really well thought out. And very clean. Will certainly book again
on arrival we found the lodge had been decorated for xmas and lots of xmas extras (eg napkins, crockery, etc) which was lovely. The lodge was warm and cosy with beautiful views. Plenty to do over Christmas with craft functions on as well as festive activities, swimming pool, bar and restaurant open as well as lovely walks and visits to Bowness.
From booking to the end of stay, the whole experience with langdale lodge and lake district lodge holidays has been excellent and so stress free. The lodge itself is fab. We have stayed in others on whitecross bay but this is our favourite. It’s ‘hidden away’ position means privacy and quietness. It has a lovely large furnished decked area and the hot tub was an amazing way to spend Christmas Day morning! On arrival we were greeted by a lovely gift (bubbly and chocs) wrapped for Christmas. A beautifully dressed tree and decorations throughout the living room added to the whole Christmas expe...more
A Lovely holiday lodge well kitted out with everything you need.very clean and comfortable .I would recommend this lodge
All of our party enjoyed the stay at wansfell retreat lodge we cannot wait while next year.we keep trying new lodges each one very nice.
The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings.
Rowan Lodge is perfect. We loved our stay there, the lodge had everything that we needed and was spotless. on our last day the toilet cistern wouldn't fill and I called Lake District Lodges who came within the hour to repair. couldn't fault the lodge or Lake District Lodge. we would definitely use both again.
This lodge is very small. We were travelling with four adults and two infants. There wasn’t enough room in the master bedroom to put up the travel cot even though we booked for an infant. We had to love furniture to a spare room which made that room unusable. Originally our friends 5 year old was joining us but thankfully she decided not to as there wouldn’t have been the room. The lodge was quite dirty. We had to clean things before using them however the bed linen and towels were clean. The hot tub work intermittently which we reported. Overall we wouldn’t stay in this lodge again as it was ...more
Although we really enjoyed our stay there was a big problem with the decking which was very slippy by the door and on the steps. My husband who is disabled found this quite hazardous. Suggest you put some form o gripping down.
Very cosy and peaceful will definitely be staying here again loved it. I've also recommend to friends
Wonderful 4 night break for my husband, myself and our two dogs. We used the hot tub most nights and the lodge was lovely and in a great location. We would stay again
An excellent lodge in an excellent location with an exceptional hot tub nicely secluded from the other lodges with lovely views of the hills. Condition & comfort were amazing. Would recommend this place to my parents, that's how good it is. Lovely walks & nearby towns of lake Windermere. If dining out the pub on site is good but for excellence we would recommend The Pig in Windermere.
Great stay as spacious for large family and dog..big lounge ..excellent master bedroom with own walk in wardrobe...had to be careful when both showers in use as power dropped but that was a minor thing.. as it rained it was good we had free use of choices health club to use the pool...
Booking was easy was kept updated every step of the way. great lodge and location. could not fault it in any way.
Lodge was in a great location on the white cross bay park with partial views to lake Windermere. Lodge was modern and well equipped as well as comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately be heading back soon for another peaceful relaxing break. Staff at the park were also very helpful and the grounds was very well maintained. Highly recommend this lodge
Thank you for a fantastic stay in your beautiful lodge. Lake District Holidays went above and beyond to help me organise my stay. They were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The lodge was out of this world.
My friends and I enjoyed a very comfortable mini break in this delightful lodge - glimpses of the lake through the trees, home from home comforts, SO near to Bowness and all the beauty that holds. Would recommend this to anyone - fab!
Me and my husband stayed at thirlmere for our mini moon. We have visited the lakes before and stayed at white cross bay but this lodge is the nicest by far. We were able to take our 2 dogs who also loved it! The lodge had everything we needed and more! We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
We couldn’t fault this lodge at all, very clean and well looked after. We totally enjoyed our 2 nights and would definitely book again. The little extras from the owners were well received, milk, tea, sugar, biscuits and washing up liquid etc. They also had a range of dvds and games which were very useful on the afternoon we had rain. Would highly recommend this lodge!
We had an excellent stay at Fallbarrow Park our lodge was so spacious and had everything we needed and more, as we had been there before we knew what to expect. We have already booked again for August.
Our second visit to this lodge and we were not disappointed. Everything you could need was provided.good value for money. Just a note on the steps to the property, although the steps were covered with metal plate they were very slippy when wet. Could do with some sort of anti slip coating to be applied. Not an issue in dry weather.
Fantastic lodge and site. We were up for a swimming weekend but a bit disappointed we weren't able to swim straight out into the lake from the waterfront area.
Beautiful lodge was moden through out the lodge which you could not fault. The only problem we found with the lodge was poor signal to tv in the front room and WiFi signal. There was also stuff left on the floor were house keeping had not cleaned up and window cleaner left on the bed.
We chose this location because of the reviews and we weren’t let down. Great location for lovely walks and near enough to smaller towns for something to eat and stuff to do. The lodge was great, everything we expected and more! Really clean and no issues at all. Some of the reviews on here seem harsh. For a family of 4 with two dogs it was perfect. Yes the WiFi isn’t great but in the middle of a valley in the Lake District I’m. It sure what you’d expect. It was nice to sit and talk to the kids to be honest rather than them being on phones. It was great for the dogs too! We will be bac...more
Oakwood Lodge was very nice, clean, cosy, and the position made it feel safe but secluded. There is a very little bit of damp in the wardrobe in the main bedroom but other than that it was very comfortable and I enjoyed staying there very much.
Highly recommend this place! - went for 2 nights with my wife, little doggie & our 6-week-old daughter last month. Arrived about 7pm on Friday evening, dead straightforward check-in, lodge was in lovely condition & much better than we ever expected. Nice outside space which would be lovely to sit-out in summer (even though we were spoilt with the bizarre February sunshine, it wasn't really warm enough to sit out in the evening). The site is approximately 3-miles outside of Windermere, "inland" from the lake. We actually got a taxi into Windermere on Saturday afternoon, which came to the ...more
Wonderful stay at this very comfortable and clean lodge which exceeded our expectations. The lodge has everything you needs, including lots of utensils, cling film, sugar, oil, and washing up liquid. There are DVDs and games. The heating is wonderful and the lodge is very cozy even when it's cold outside, you won't need your fleecy PJs. The beds are super comfy with quality bedding, we are going back without a doubt, the site is peaceful and the staff are ready and willing to help with any queries. Would highly recommend, what a beautiful little retreat!
Excellent stay really impressed with everything would defiantly stay again and recommend to all my friends and family
We booked this lodge primarily for the disabled facilities, which turned out to be very good. The lodge was clean and well presented. Shame the weather was against us as we could not get out at all.
On arriving Friday PM our hot tub was at 28C, we waited and saw if it would warm up and when it didn't went to the site managers office to ask for help- he was a little confused and said as the lodge was private and not owned by the site he was unable to assist but recommended looking on the internet re the controls. This we did- to no avail, finally ringing the emergency maintenance guy who was very helpful- taking us through some things to try on the control panel before phoning the site manager and instructing him to get an immediate repair to the hot tub ASAP (IE Saturday morning) as it wa...more
Fantastic holiday, nice walks. Everything was perfect nice and clean. Can’t wait to go back in next school term.
Lovely stay. Such a warm cosy and private cabin. Enjoyed sitting on the large patio watching the river and local wildlife.
We had a fantastic holiday at Tall Trees Lodge. Lake district lodge holidays are always a pleasure to book with and seem to genuinely care that you enjoy your stay. White cross bay is fairly central and children friendly. Lots of things to do not too far away. You would probably need a car or transport to eat out at night. We used the pool on site, you have to book a time slot to swim which initially put us off, but actually it works out quite well as there is plenty of room to swim. The kids enjoyed Wray castle, very child friendly. We ate at the onsite restaurant a couple of times, it's not ...more
The lodge was lovely a little out dated, but any maintenance issues were quickly rectified. It was a lovely site surrounded by beautiful woods with a lovely walk for the dogs.
Beautiful setting overlooking the stream with the mountains rising at the back.Great outdoor area ( weather permitting) but hot tub used no matter what even though it was a little too hot for us!! All in all it was a lovely stay.
We had a fantastic time, despite the rain. Lovely lodge right on the lake, it was perfect for our weekend away.
A lovely week in the gorgeous Lake District, that never fails to disappoint whatever the weather. Our accommodation was faultless and all the family including our 2 spaniels had a wonderful time. We hope to return in the not too distant future!
Absolutely fantastic, perfect location, value for money and the bonus of a hot tub warmed and ready to use on arrival.
Stayed at this lodge a few years running now, perfect break away just before Christmas will be returning again next year!
Nice week in a lovely location but we did have some issues. This was our second stay at this lodge, the first time we had no issues. However, this time we did. The blinds were broken with some of the blinds missing and others detattched meaning people could see into our lodge. The floor was dirty with mud when we first walked in which was extremely disappointing.
Lovely cabin, plenty of room, good facilities, only 2 bad points i can think of, gas fire ignition didnt work, but managed to use lighter. Garden furniture was a bit dirty too, could have done with a clean so we could use it. Other than that everything was great.
Myself and 2 of my close friends stayed here for seven days. Fantastic accomodation and very close the Keswick. Would recommend
Recently stayed in three trees lodge for my daughters 21st Birthday. The hot tub was an amazing bonus. There was plenty of things to see and do around the site such as the view at the jetty, play area for young children. Lovely staff at the leisure centre. Nice relaxing time in the sauna, steam and jacuzzi after a long day of climbing orrest head and boat ride down Windermere lake. Can’t wait to go back and make more amazing family memories. Lodge was perfect location and plenty of room for six adults and little doggie. I would highly recommended this lodge for winter or summers stay...more
The lodge had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We have stayed on this park several times previously and always found the lodges to be cleaned to a high standard.Unfortunately this time our accommodation hadn't been cleaned very well before our arrival. However this didn't spoil our holiday and we had a lovely break.
Lovely stay at this lodge, the only issue was during our stay the kids wanted to go on the aqua jets, however even though advertised and being told by staff they were on (including delaying travelling home on our last day) they were never on.
most relaxing break, lodge was very comfortable and in a great location, would definitely return, plenty of local attractions to visit.
Great lodge but awkward as the owners waiting at 950am to clean felt uncomfortable . Dogs barking in next lodge Swimming nr no chance as have to book days in advance Had to go to local baths Restaurant over priced
