All I can say is we as a family and 10 week old baby had a fabulous time with a few nice touches as we had mentioned it was my daughters birthday and when we arrived there was a birthday cake , card and a bottle in the fridge which was unexpected but very thoughtful, everyone one of us enjoyed the stay as accommodation, creature comforts etc in our opinion where excellent, couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all in a beautiful setting and accommodation was faultless. Thank you so much to all for making it memorable

Lovely location. Very clean, would be improved with an air fryer and shelves in the downstairs bathroom for items.
Jo and Barry were very helpful and very accommodating.

I have stayed at the water retreat before but ar different lodge. I can highly recommend the lodges you start to chill as soon as you arrive, I went with 5 friends and it was magical.

This is our 3rd time staying at one of Jo and Barry’s lodges, you won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful locations and some lovely extra touches to make sure your lodge feels like a home from home. The access to the lakes is great so we did a lot of fishing and paddling boarding.
It was such a shame we had a the building work going on each day when we stayed this time, not the tranquil peaceful escape it’s been before.

Absolutely great property on the lake and we’ll situated to visit the different towns of the Cotswolds. Would definitely stay there again.

I had a lovely time but in the morning was greeted by ants coming from the bedroom to the kitchen which wasn't great but I put that down to it getting warmer outside

Communication could have been better , I'd definitely stay again.

We went to Mayflower Lodge for a short break in March. It was such a lovely base for us as a family - plenty of places to go and all within 30-40 mins. The lodge itself is very well done out and cosy despite the wall to ceiling glass with superb views over the lake. The hot tub is a great addition and we made good use of it - we never felt overlooked and were able to fully relax. Well supplied kitchen and the rooms are all amazing with gorgeous bathrooms. I am immediately booking to go back!
