Malachite Lodge is a 4 bedroom contemporary, luxury home on Cotswold Water Park near Cirencester sleeping 8 people. Located centrally for visiting the delights of the Cotswolds and just under an hour from Oxford,Bath,Stratford-upon-Avon & Warwick. The architecturally inspired, lakeside home has stunning views over the lake and the property benefits from a large decking area with private hot tub. 3 double/kingsize beds with flexibility in the 4th bedroom to be either a superking size bed or 2 singles

Can’t really give a review as my husband had heart attack not long after getting there so spent most of time in hospital

The views out of the windows both upstairs and downstairs are stunning. We loved sitting in the hot tub watching the birds on the water with a glass of wine in hand. The place was plenty big enough with decent size rooms, enough seating for everyone and the kitchen was well equipped. We relaxed with beauty treatments and had a fun trip to to try archery at the Cotswold range. We even managed a gentle paddle across the lake using the canoe from the house.

I booked Malachite for Dad's 80th birthday, 8 family members from 18-80.
The downstairs bedroom / ensuite was perfect so my parents didn't have to trundle up and down stairs.
What a beautiful place in a stunning location. The lodge has everything you need and more! It's equipped and decorated to a very high standard, it was also immaculately clean.
The decking area onto the lake was fabulous, the sunshine and hot tub were enjoyed by all!
Lots of places to visit nearby, without doubt we'll be back next year.
What a fabulous find.

Malachite lodge is lovely. Wonderful location with stunning views. Very private, modern and comfortable but a bit tired. There were a few areas of damage which we weren't made aware of so be careful you point these out as there's a £200 damage deposit.
We had a family stay and had looked forward to our trip for 3 months.
However, the owner Jo tried to ruin our trip.
I made a reasonable request which she immediately turned down. I accepted this and no more was said by me. Her tone changed from there on in! She was rude and her messages became abrupt and vicious. She treated me like a petulant child. I was nothing but polite to her.
We are a strong family and wouldn't let her behaviour spoil our trip but based on our treatment I would warn others and NOT recommend a stay.

This was a beautiful location.
The Lodge was well prepared with everything provided.
A birthday cake and bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge was a delightful extra and much appreciated by the birthday girl!
Decor was tasteful. Instruction booklet useful.Hot tub brilliant!
Only criticism was the height of the cooker extractor fan/light but I’m sure that’s been mentioned before !
A lovely, warm, comfortable and thoroughly beautiful place .

My two sisters and I had a wonderful time while staying in this ultra modern lodge. Everything for our comfort had been very carefully thought out with nothing over looked. We were all delighted with the interior and the outside was amazing with breathtaking views across the lake. The hot tub was a fantastic experience. Hopefully we shall return.

We've stayed in several of the Cotswold Waterpark Retreats properties, in fact we return year after year which in itself is a tribute to the quality and comfort of the accommodation.
Malachite is a stunning property with magnificent views across the lake and sunsets to die for; its well equipped, well furnished in a location that makes you instantly forget about work.
The only downside of our stay, was having to pack and leave, but we'll be back next year.

We stayed in Malachite and Jo and Barry’s homes are simply amazing! The house was immaculately cleaned and it had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Jo was extremely responsive and helpful within anything we needed. The view from the house over the lake is a delight, so peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We have already booked to go back.
