On a small, private, gated estate, Libelle is a contemporary styled, luxury home on Cotswold Water Park near Cirencester. The architecturally inspired, lakeside home has stunning views over a lake & benefits from a large fully-enclosed decking area suspended over the water’s edge. 3 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, one being downstairs for anyone unable to negotiate the stairs. Master bedroom has balcony & seating. Other 2 bedrooms have flexibility to be kingsize or 2 singles. Hot tub

Very easy booking and communication process throughout.
Security deposit information strangely worded which was flagged but no issue.
Agree with other reviews that Libelle furnishings are outdated and need to be reinvested in to add a bit more comfort and modern to the property.
Perfect size property with lots of fantastic positives; in depth instructions of all appliances and local “to-do”, amenities within the lodge, location of the stay.
Chlorine in the hot tub was definitely on the high end - anyone with sensitive skin/young kids I would 100% recommend at avoiding.
Not sure when property was last cleaned but pretty grim in some areas as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a few weeks/months.
Overall, a fantastic weekend away celebrating a big 30th birthday with the weather on our side - would 100% rebook another lodge which is more modern and kept up to date.

We had an amazing stay at Libelle Lodge to celebrate a special occasion
Lovely lodge with lots of special touches which were so thoughtful & made for a very relaxing & fabulous break. Thank you so much we would definitely book again!



Great to get away and Libelle Lodge was everything I had hoped it would be 'home from home'.

I really enjoyed my break at Libelle Lodge, very lucky with the weather that made a huge difference. I had some wonderful walks with my dog and I hope to come again. Thank you for making the whole process from booking, staying to leaving so easy.

This is our 2nd visit to Cotswolds water park retreat . We’ve had an amazing time time. X lots of walks beautifull scenery. Excellent service from Jo as always. The house was amazing and we are now looking to book again next year .

The outside patio was very tired and needed a good clean. Based on the pictures before we arrived I was expecting something top notch but it just didn’t deliver. We were instructed the door would be open on arrival but it wasn’t so we had to work the key safe box out which was quite stressful after a long journey. Neighbours who live on the grounds don’t seem to appreciate tourists might not be familiar with what services are for holiday guests and which are for permanent residents. We have an annual stay at the Cotswolds and with so many other beautiful places to stay that feel more warm and welcome we won’t be returning here.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Libelle lodge for my 50th and it did not disappoint, the lodge was beautifully decorated with everything you could ever need, every attention to detail has been thought of. If you want to stay in and chill lots of blankets and things to watch on netflix and don't forget you can chill on the deck in the hot tub. We took my two dogs who loved it as they were safely enclosed on the decking and loved watching the ducks and swans pass by. The kitchen had every utensils you could think of with lots of post and pans. I will 100% be coming back hopefully this year and would highly recommend this stay we loved it and we did not want to leave. Thank you for an amazing stay. AMAZING 6 STARS from me xx
