Kingfisher is a contemporary styled, luxury holiday home on Cotswold Water Park in the southern Cotswolds near to Cirencester. Set on a private gated estate, this architecturally inspired, lakeside home has stunning views over a lake. The property benefits from a large, fully enclosed decking area & balcony off the master bedroom giving the illusion of being suspended over the water’s edge. Private hot tub. 3 bedrooms each with en-suite sleeping up to 6 people. Up to 2 dogs welcome

Fabulous stay at kingfisher lodge. Everything spotlessly clean on arrival. Everything we needed was supplied, good quality oven and microwave, plenty of glasses, cutlery, kitchenware. Bedrooms, bathrooms were excellent. Couldn’t fault anything, will definitely be happy to stay again. Would highly recommended it to friends and family

What a lovely lodge to stay in. It had everything you needed and more. The owners have thought of everything, even down to a mirror with a close up view so you can put your make-up on. Plus a welcome cake.

We stayed here for my boyfriend’s birthday at the beginning of November for a long weekend. The place was very tidy and clean. Everything had been thought of and included, including dressing gowns for the hot tub and spare towels to dry off our dogs.
Close walk to the little local village which has a lovely indian.
Overall, we had an amazing weekend and would definitely return!

The lodge was immaculate and perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The location is stunning. We have stayed previously, but in a different lodge and the high standard was consistent across both. The finishing touches like the milk, Prosecco and cake were a delight. We would highly recommend! Our only complaint would be communication, I sent emails before and after our stay that weren’t replied to, nor was my WhatsApp message acknowledged. A real shame as this wasn’t our experience last time. Finally just a suggestion that more of the rooms can be converted in to twin beds if desired.

Beautiful and homely accommodation in a beautiful location. The lodge is in immaculate condition with everything you need for a fantastic break. Fully equipped with all you need. Hosts Barry and Jo could not do enough. We had a couple of minor niggles on arrival (such as me pulling the door handle off) and they responded to messages in minutes and sent people over to fix the issues immediately. Absolutely fabulous stay, thank you Barry and Jo.

This accommodation was outstanding. Such a lovely place with high quality bedding, towels and lush shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash.
The hot tub made it extra special being able to be outside on the lake with a bottle of fizz (even supplied that!!)
Great place for a girlie trip or suitable for families and or couples.
Not far from anything and a lot of places locally to visit

If I was pushed to fault this beautiful lodge, then I would say, the back was a little loose on the TV remote! I have nothing further! I am not pushed to say, it is an absolutely beautiful lodge.
The biggest thing for me is cleanliness, it makes or breaks our holidays. I had no complaints whatsoever with this. It was absolutely thoroughly clean. The kitchen is so fully equipped, I cooked each day not wanting to go out to eat, to take advantage.
It was so comfortable, so well equipped, it just had everything! Whilst we were there we were looking at availability to return.
We have stayed at the water park before but this is by far the nicest lodge we have stayed in.

A stunning lodge in a lovely location. My family and I enjoyed a relaxing mini summer break at Kingfisher and were able to see family living locally as well as participate in sports at Cotswolds Country Park. The lodge was absolutely gorgeous and we immediately felt at home. It was spotlessly clean and smelt lovely. My mum enjoyed an in-lodge massage by Zoe from ‘Eternal Therapies’ whom we would highly recommend. Thank you very much we would definitely recommend Kingfisher!

Lovely place, pretty expensive at £2,000 for just 5 nights. We stayed on the Palm in Dubai for less than this.
We had to get to hoover and duster out when we arrived. The outside hadn't been cleaned for quite for time and there were lots of cobwebs/dead files which I didn't want around with my 5 year old.
A handyman really needs to spend a couple of days just getting it back up to scratch (some loose decking, painting needed and a good external clean).
The hot tub couldn't be used for 24 hours as the water had been changed that day (we didn't know this) and had to tell our excited 5 year old she could not use it, so she had to take her swimming costume off.. A little disappointed.
No tea on arrival as promised and the milk was cheese when I tried to make a cup of coffee!
Overall, lovely but we felt a little disappointed it wasn't quite perfect for the money we spent.

What an amazing place! Sitting on the deck, looking straight out onto the water was the most serene experience - I’m still dreaming about it!
The lodge itself is beautiful and there is so much within walking distance, including some fab places to eat - I’d recommend the Criwn in Cerney Wick for fab food and cocktails!
We had a wonderful holiday here and can’t wait to come back again!!

We scored cleanliness as moderate as it’s tidy but not deep cleaned. lots of cobwebs and razors left in shower from previous guests.
Customer service poor as advice on getting in lodge was confusing. Had to call owner as lodge not open as instructed. They also charged my card without communicating it to me when I had already paid the pet policy. I found the communication to be quite cold.
Comfort of beds is very poor. Extremely soft mattress with no lumbar support and now I’m paying for a physio (not exaggerating). For this reason alone I wouldn’t be able to return.
In terms of location, it’s a lovely area of the Cotswolds however the lodge is amongst others that are lived in and some of the neighbours are a little grumpy.

The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion and enjoy instant relaxation!

So many special touches upon arrival which was a lovely surprise as you never quite know what to expect with a self catering stay but Jo and Barry had thought of everything you could possibly want/need!

The location is superb and everything inside the house has been so carefully thought about with the best possible guest experience in mind.

We chose to book the Kingfisher lodge to celebrate a family birthday from Monday to Friday. We knew it was going to be somewhere special just from the images online, but upon arrival literally everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless and presented in the most luxurious manner, as well as being stocked with the essentials and some luxury items which was a lovely touch.

The space flows so well, and the communal living/kitchen area was of course the social hub for our week, but still had the ability to break off into your own space when you wished. We also had our dog with us which made the experience that little extra special.

The description and images on the booking sites speak for themselves, the views were stunning and the area nice and secluded but not too far to walk to the local pubs and restaurants. The information sent to us both before and during the stay was amazing, there was not one thing we couldn't find the answer to with the book and emails provided to us.

We will definitely be returning and hoping to book the lodge again in the near future, and would not hesitate to recommend to others as we have been since our stay.
