4-bedroomed converted barn set in a quiet village location, with private garden and parking. Approximately 3 miles inland from the coast.

A lovely location for a short break in a lovely setting

We had a lovely family break at the Workshop. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. The house was very clean and is set in a beautiful location. The check in process was simple and the contact before our stay was excellent. The location of this property is excellent. You are close by to beautiful parks and national trust properties and close to the coast. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

The cottage was very well equipped and in a great spot. Beds were comfy & there was plenty of hot water for all 8 of us to shower & bath. A second teapot would have helped make tea for 8! Plus some wooden spoons & we had to buy a cheese grater in a charity shop as there wasn't one & we left this for the next occupants. Really lovely to receive a welcome pack on arrival with milk, biscuits, bottle of wine, jam and cordial. House was quite private. Although residents were in adjoining properties we didn't feel overlooked. Garden was enclosed which was great for the dogs & there were stair gates so easy to stop them going upstairs. Lots of parking space available. Good washing machine & tumble dryer plus washing liquid provided which was very useful. Good location, quiet & surrounded by fields, lots of good coast nearby & several national trust properties within easy range. Great week!

Webb site information on welcome pack incorrect and photos misleading - property smaller than thought
Insufficient hot water for 8 people and heating system incorrectly set.
Kitchen inventory needs updating ie saucepans with no fitting lids and no measuring jug etc.
Stripping the beds before leaving is something the customer should not have to do as it is part of the service from self catering properties.

Hello David Thank you for you review. Your feed back is very important to us. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the Work Shop Barn. I hope you reported the issues that you had to the property manager who would have attended straight away. His number is on the information sheet mounted on the wall and also in your arrival instructions, however I will of course pass your comments on as it is important to us to to maintain a high standard. good location for seeing the whole of North Norfolk - Cromer 10 mins away - if out all day can visit Hunstanton to the East and see the seals near Yarmouth to the West. plenty of good pubs for lunch, but it was clear the cost of drink and food has risen. 2 local pubs that could be walked to for evening meals. good value for money.
property had not been used during Covid, was clean and tidy and fully equipped for our stay. operating instructions for the oven need to be provided, managed to sort out in the end, not a major issue.
parking was good with vehicles secure. outside security lights were good. good private gardens with seating.
on a working farm, not an issue, nice and quiet. plenty of footpaths to walk around the farm and local area. met the farm owner in his office, open chat re history of the farm.the barn convertions very established since 2007. local road beside property busy but a main link between villeages, noise was not an issue.
on the cost for a week, appreciated that owner held 2020 price, our trip delayed 2 years re Covid. overall still good value for money for 6 adults.
has a CS on site, would return with our motorhome in the future.

Hi Terry Thank you for your review. Your feed back is very important to us. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed exploring the local sights and sampled the food at local pubs. Sorry to hear you didn't have instructions for the cooker but pleased you managed to sort it out. Its good that you are thinking about using our camp site next time you visit the area.
