A well-equipped property in a quiet location in Holt.

Disappointingly, although this appears to be a non-smoking property (rented as such through a number of other agencies/websites, including Hoseasons, Bookings.com, Trip Advisor and vrbo), the lounge had a strong, pervading smell of cigarette smoke, seemingly well-intruded into the soft furnishings – which wasn’t cleared by opening the windows on a daily basis.

We have downgraded some of our ratings because of this issue.

We feel that we couldn't recommend, or return to, this property until this issue is resolved - which is, well...disappointing, given what it has to offer otherwise.

Set in a very quiet location in Holt and in very easy walking distance of the town centre. Holt is ideal as it is perfectly located for visiting all of Norfolks' attractions. Arrows is very well appointed with beds for four people, one double, and two singles (sharing), two toilets and a wet room replacing a bath. The property is spacious with a very cosy lounge. Off road parking is okay for a family car. The kitchen is clean and very well equipped as is the whole property. Just two very minor criticisms (which did NOT spoil our stay), replace or paint the internal doors white and the outside street light is directly opposite so we had a full moon effect every night!
Overall a really good property which after long walks and long days visiting was very homely to comeback to.

I was the perfect stay for our week in Norfolk. The location was ideal for visiting the locations we wanted to see
The standard of accommodation was excellent well worth it.

Well equipped cottage, well furnished and comfortable. Everything you need and lots of useful information and help clearly displayed inside the cottage. Nicely situated in walking distance of Holt centre with pretty gardens. Pity the weather was too wet to enjoy sitting outside - wish you could book sunny weather as well! We will be back. Thanks to the friendly staff when I rang to check out of hours contact details. Please check supplied front door key - was a bit sticky in the lock either locking or unlocking. All perfect except a late check in of 5pm (different from 4pm on cottages.com website when I booked) which is why I rang to ask about help after 5pm if we had had a problem with the key - out of hours number needs to be on the arrival info if access is regularly so late in the afternoon. Otherwise perfect. Hidden gem.

Lovely clean bungalow, well situated for the coast and walks.
Wet room ideal for elderly relative, will use again, strongly recommended.

A very central location, with a short level walk into Holt centre for a good range of independent shops and pubs/cafes. Close to coast and other attractions.
Well furnished and comfortable, with a good amount of plates, cutlery, etc.
As we stayed when the weather was warm, 10.5 tog duvets on all the beds were a bit too warm. Maybe a blackout blind or lining to the curtains in the twin bedroom would be good in the summer.

Thank you for your review and for your comments regarding the window blinds. No-one else has brought this to our attention but the owner has taken on board your comments and will be fitting black outs.to the back rooms. He has decided to keep the 10.5 duvet's due to changeable weather and the colder seasons but will have a rethink about the warmer seasons. For your information and previous reviews, the paving stones to both the front and the lounge patio have been jet washed and there is now a regular window cleaner who attends on an 8 week cycle. We hope to see you again soon

Great accommodation in a good location for exploring North Norfolk. Had wonderful weather too and would high recommend for a nice break away.

Located on a small estate on the outskirts of Holt within walking distance of the town centre a nice bungalow with first impressions being favorable. Inside the property was clean well furnished with plenty of equipment. When we tried to use the oven though it wasn't very clean and required attention. Outside there is a small garden with a patio and a table and chairs, the patio required jet washing though which spoiled the experience as did the uncut grass and general untidiness of the garden. We did have an issue with keys which was promptly seen to by Norfolk Stay. Would consider booking again but only if issues were seen to.
