In spite of the weather being variable (well it is October !) we had another comfortable stay. The accommodation is quiet and well equipped. Rock is only 9 miles away so access to Daymer Bay for dog walking is so easy. The start of the Camel trail at Wenford Bridge is also nearby with bikes for hire. Overall an excellent week.
Another lovely stay with Graham and Lorraine at Tredarrup. Stable Cottage is stunning. Everything is provided for you to allow you to have a great, trouble free holiday. A lovely welcome breakfast pack with local produce was much appreciated! Our 12 year old daughter was able to help feed the chickens, sheep and goats and she was even allowed to collect freshly laid eggs. The location is great for exploring lots of different places:- Bodmin Jail, The Ship Wreck museum at Charlestown (both great for rainy days, the lobster hatchery and we went on a Sealife Safari boat trip in Padstow and saw se...more
The Wagon is perfect for exploring North Cornwall and all its delights. It’s also a high quality, tranquil base to return to. An excellent combination! Thank you to hosts Lorraine and Graham for a fabulous stay.
