The Old Mission Hall near Dunbeath on the east coast of the NC500 has stunning views out to sea. The hall has been converted to a 1 bedroom cottage with a sun lounge from where you can watch the sea and the ever-changing weather. The hall has a large log burner and central heating for those cosy nights in after exploring the northern highlands and Walligoe Steps for the fit. The bedroom and bathroom are all on the ground floor. Old Mission Hall is pet-friendly and has an enclosed garden and driveway with a gate.

Brilliant stay at Old Mission Hall!

The best equipped accomodation we have ever stayed in! Very thoughtfully laid out, and very much made to feel at 'home', rather than in a holiday rental.

Great garden space with sea view (plus high-walled area out of the back to let dogs our off-lead). The kitchen and living area is really high quality and provided all the shelter from the rain you could need.

Well situated near Dunbeath - providing good access to the local coastline, some highlights including Whaligoe Steps, Tasty Toes Seafood and Puldagon Farm Shop.

Shamazing

What can we say! Beautiful apartment, feel the outside doesn’t tell the story on the inside. So much character loved the place from top to bottom. So comfortable to come back to after a long day out. The sofas were so comfortable as was the bed. The starter pack for the wood for the fire was great. Although I found the place warm Lynn loves it hot. We bought kindling and logs that we left behind for any guests that arrive at your place. What a shame it was overcast and Misty all the time we were there. I spotted the telescope and so wanted to peer at the night sky. This isn’t a negative in any way. Our only down side was the travelling we did . Sometimes we travelled 2.5 hours to get home on the other side of the country . But man what a time we had. Thanks for all the communication through bookingdotcom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And we would love to return our hospitality if your ever over in the Kyle of lochalsh and stay in our self catering The Lodge Dunrowan.

Thanks for everything

Johnny and Lynn.

We enjoyed our stay at Old Mission Hall - comfortable bed, nice bathroom, lovely living room with log burner and a fantastic porch to watch the views and sunsets.
