We had an excellent stay at Muntham. The apartment (2) was beautifully decorated and they have thought of everything from the welcome goodies to the fully equipped kitchen. Lovely bed, quality bed linen, fluffy towels, owners on site if you need them. Dog friendly - there's a garden at the rear of the property for late night wees, but there are also lots of walks nearby (Torquay is very hilly so you must expect a few hills). Couldn't fault our stay and would highly recommend.



Best in Torquay by a mile.

Would not stay anywhere else have now stayed 3 times and hopefully will stay again if needed.The cleanliness is great and you feel comfortable there and we can take our fur baby.

We stayed for three nights we both loved the building the apartment had everything you you needed really could not find a fault we will be coming back for another thank you

The apartment situated in the village of Wellswood with its local shops and cafes is exceptionally well appointed and kitted out with everything needed for a great stay as are all of the properties associated with Adam and Grant that we have stayed in over the years. Next year is already booked due to their generous discounts for returning guests

We look forward to staying at Muntham at least a couple of times a year. It will never disappoint. The location is excellent and the apartment is really lovely and extremely comfortable. It has everything you need. We are always made very welcome. I can’t praise it highly enough.

This is a beautiful holiday apartment with everything you need, came down with all the family so we needed the Town House and apartment 2 for the extra beds required and it suited us so well. Very highly recommended.

We stayed in this apartment at the end of May 2023 and it was extremely well presented and clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending this location. It was very nicely furnished and well supplied with all the comforts of home. As a dog friendly holiday home we very impressed. Would be happy to book there again.

Great communication from booking (direct)
Arrival, met by host who was lovely, helpful and informative.

Accommodation is beautiful, parking space and small garden for your furry friend, apartment was perfect, spotlessly clean with everything you could need. Furnished beautifully and very comfortable. Bed/bedding was perfect for us, lovely and comfortable mattress and quality linen. Bathroom had everything you need with some lovely toiletoires.

Location is great (hilly as is all of Torquay) so keeps you fit, pub locally down the road with a few shops for your essentials, Harbour and Babbacombe accessible within half an hour walk in opposite directions, lovely homes all around. Walks are brilliant with the coves and beaches so close. Don't hesitate to stay.

The Muntham Apartments and Townhouse property is in a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood, with local amenities (pub, Co-op, Post Office, cafes, stores). The flat we stayed in (#2) was superb, with fantastic furniture, huge windows onto the beautiful garden, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed. There was even a portable heater and a desk fan for additional comfort. The furnishings were beautiful and perfect for the space. The owners were immensely helpful, friendly, and wonderful hosts. Cannot recommend any more highly, and we are already planning our return trip!

I was blown away with Apartment 2 Muntham house , every last detail was considered.
Furnishings and appliances were top quality,
The hosts were welcoming and friendly.
I have 2 miniature dachshunds which were also very welcome and not judged as an inconvenience.
Yummy treats for doggies and M&S Custard creams for me yum !
I will be staying again in a few weeks can’t wait!

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in Apt. 2 on the ground floor at Muntham Apartments. Communication beforehand was dealt with promptly and we found the description on the website and information guides (available once booking confirmed) were accurate and easy to navigate. We were greeted upon arrival by Adam who showed us around the apartment and answered any questions we had. Everything was clean and tidy and a credit to Adam and his cleaning team. Thank you for the biscuits, milk and drinks which was very kind.

The quality of furnishings, kitchen equipment, bathroom facilities, bedding etc. was first class, and we were short of nothing for our stay. We self catered on two evenings and ate out on the other two. The kitchen is compact, but had every appliance we needed. The entire apartment was warm and homely and with pleasant views over the garden area.

The apartments are in the Wellswood area of Torquay, roughly a mile uphill from the waterfront. The area is very pleasant and quiet and with local shops and restaurants only a few minutes walk away on Ilsham Road. We ate out one night further down the road towards the town centre at 'Old Vienna'. As the name suggests, it's an Austrian restaurant and was an excellent choice for us - a superb meal with great service - well worth a visit. On one of our days we walked down Ilsham Road to the seafront at Meadfoot Beach (great cafe at end of beach before headland) and sat in the warm sunshine with a splendid cup of coffee (yes, 8th December!). From there we took the coast path round the headland into Torquay. Babbacombe in the other direction is also accessed along the coast path if desired.

We were delighted with our choice of accommodation and would look to stay here again when next visiting the area and would confidently recommend to others.

2nd stay at these lovely apartments. We always feel completely relaxed whilst staying here. The high quality touches in terms of toiletries, crockery, cookware and soft furnishings are very much appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Dog friendly without a doubt - our dog is always really calm whilst staying, which is not always the case if she does not feel she can settle. We would prefer a 'one off' charge for a pet stay rather than the £10 per night. In my experience most pet owners are very careful and somehow I'm not sure that there is anymore cleaning after 7 rather than 1 or 2 nights. Alternatively - just increase the nightly rate a little.

I have forwarded the link to the Muntham Apartments to a number of friends as they too would love the apartments along with the proximity to the SW Coastal Path.

Our second stay at the stunning Muntham Luxury Holiday apartments which really do live up to the Luxury part of their name. Everything is top notch - spotlessly clean, tasteful and comfortable - with a friendly welcome and a fabulous feel. Would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous weekend at this beautiful apartment..
Spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard, could not fault it.
The bed was really comfy too..
We took our Springer Spaniel and he loved it too, particularly the treats
They even provide throws for the settee so he could sit next to us.
The hosts were really friendly too.
Just perfect and highly recommended.

We had a really lovely stay at this apartment its our second time and we where just as happy as the first time we stayed
The hosts are lovely accommodatiog and helpfull people

We had a wonderful week in Apt 2, which is our 9th year of coming to Munthan holiday apartments. Adam and Grant have thought of all your needs including complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits plus hand wash, shower gel and body lotion (Grapefruit and lemongrass - smells gorgeous). The fully equipped kitchen is small but you have everything you need. Large Bay windows overlooking the garden. Great location for site visiting.
