Clean, tidy and very comfortable. The cottage is magical, with excellent facilities and utilities, that will make it tempting to stay indoors all day! However the village is worth visiting in itself, and there's some fantastic pubs within walking distance, serving excellent food at an affordable price.

Bear cottage really does give you an enormous warm hug, we had the loveliest of stays. There were fresh flowers on arrival & a hand written welcome note with the much appreciated welcome basket. Kitchen was well equipped & cooker easy to use. Mattress & pillows were the most comfortable we’ve slept on. Big soft & fluffy towels in bathroom. Beautiful cottage with log burner & little birds singing every morning plus lots of charming personal touches . We will be returning in the future.
