A wonderful setting - you can spend hours looking through the window, or from the decking, at the wildlife.
The lodge is spacious, clean and comfortable; it has everything you need to become your home from home. And, although there are four lodges on the site, it has been designed to ensure total privacy for each lodge.
We would highly recommend, and would certainly look to return in the future.

We have stayed at these lodges several times, I searched high and low for a lodge that would have everything we would like. These lodges are just perfect for our family. Everything is always clean and comfortable. The team, Charlie, Jemma and Darcy cannot do enough for you. Lovely peaceful relaxing break for us as always.
I would not hesitate to book again.

Perfect for unwinding and getting away from all the hassle life throws at you. Stayed at trinity Lodge before and now at Fitzwilliam. Both are well appointed and are by far the Rolls Royce of Lodge's and the best I have ever stayed in. Look forward to next time. Hope to make this an annual visit.

From the moment we opened the front door, we were blown away by the quality, luxury, and cleanliness of the Lodge. It was very well equipped (kitchen in particular), making it our home from home.
The countryside setting enabled us to watch the wildlife from the comfort of the sofa. In fact, we were so comfortable we didn't venture out much during our four day stay. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Will return.

3rd time staying, this time with friends, just love the place, we use it as our chill out week, never disappointed. Even used the bbq twice which is great for November. Can’t fault anything, will be going back next year probably twice again like this year.

We stayed at the lodge when the current building at our home needed us to move out for a few days. I had seen the site before as I do not live far and it was cheaper than many airbnbs. The lodge was amazing and despite it not being a holiday, I felt so relaxed. We still had school runs, work etc to contend with, but even that all seemed easier. Gemma, Charlie and all the staff were really helpful and they kindly let me stay later on the day I left. We now have to be away for a second week and had there been availability we would have booked it immediately. Thank you as this sort of little break really helped lift a bit of pressure having been living on a building site for sometime, I didn't want to leave!

Cambridge Lakes is simply fantastic. The location is so peaceful and tranquil with stunning views of the lake and grounds. The lodge is beautifully maintained and so comfortable. The lodge has everything you would require for a great break either as a couple or with friends & family. I honestly cannot praise Cambridgeshire Lakes enough !

We stayed here for our honeymoon getaway for 4 nights and we had the most amazing/relaxing trip ever! The lodge is equipped with everything you need, bbq and hot tub most nights was bliss, the rooms were very cosy and the bed was so comfy we honestly didn't want to leave and wished we booked more days there. Hope to return in the near future with our children this time round

the lodge was in a fantastic location with a great view overlooking the lake. it felt private from the other lodges. easy to get the key from the key safe. loved the air conditioning in the bedrooms, which were both spacious. the kitchen was great, well equiped and made use of the hot tub and the bbq, and sun loungers. walk into gamlingay was nice and the premier and co op were well stocked.
might be worth a umbrella either in the table outside or a free standing one.

Such a beautiful place to study and relax for 3 stressed student midwives. Wifi was great (had concerns before hand as it was so remote but no need to worry at all) the beds were SO comfortable and the hot tub was the icing on the cake and the perfect way to relax in the evenings. Owners were very helpful and kind. Couldn’t have wished for a more prefect stay. Thank you !

This is our 2nd time at Cambridgeshire lakes. We had a lovely relaxing stay again except this time it was cold outside. I was the only person who found the pillows very soft (might bring my own next time). Otherwise had a fantastic time. The hot tub was great too

Such a beautiful lodge it was very big and was just perfect for our stay. It was very clean and beautiful. We loved the under floor heating and having our own bathroom and our daughter having her own bath she loved. The kitchen had everything you needed down to cake baking to coffee machine we had it all and the wine cooler and dish washer was a must. The bed was very comfy and the view of the lake was great. We can’t wait to book again in summer.

Wonderful place for four days, I felt like I was at my own home. Everything you need has been thought of at home, enjoy yourself. We recently got engaged and come to Cambridgeshire lakes for some quality time together to celebrate our engagement. It was just perfect! The lake was amazing to watch with the geese.The hot tub was stunning when all lite up in the evening. We loved monopoly that you provided. It was very entertaining. We also enjoyed the welcome gifts you left for us. Very thoughtful and lovely thing. We had such a relaxing time.
The only thing missing was a parasol for the outside table, this would be great and would allow visitors to have full use of the decking area.
Overall we had a fantastic time and have already booked our next stay at Cambridgeshire lakes.

We have had a lovely relaxing break , in a perfect lodge with absolutely everything we could want ! Everything has been thought of & the hot tub was great! Lovely quiet away from it all location with the only company of Canadian geese & their young & rabbits & squirels we will definitely be back !
